Finish Jet Dry $.54 after Register Reward

by Christie Bisbee on May 22, 2011

I didn’t pick up the Finish Jet Dry last week but now I’m glad I didn’t! The new coupon some of you got in your Smart Source insert, makes this an even better deal. And guess what – the $1.50/1 Register Reward is still printing for this!

This is apparently a monthly deal and should run thru 5/28. I am yet to see a sign for this but here’s how it worked out…

BUY
1 – Finish Jet Dry $4.29
-.75/1 Finish Jet Dry Rinse Agent or Turbo Dry, Any PRINT
-$1.50/1 Finish 20pk, Finish Jet Dry, 8.45oz (5323) 05-22-11 SS (Walgreens coupon)
Total = $2.04, Get Back $1.50 Register Reward
= $.54 EACH!

I’m super excited because I had none in the house and just got the dreaded “refill rinse aid” light on my dishwasher! Sometimes things do work out. 🙂

Just curious for next week… how does tax work for the B1G1 items when you also use a B1G1 coupon?

Thanks!

Jo

Like a lot of things, it depends on your state. In my state, for example, taxes are paid on pre-coupon price AND on free items. It’s something that isn’t talked about much in the forums but it definitely affects whether I buy something or not (take next week- there are “free” calcium vitamins for $10 but I would end up paying $1 in taxes for them. Not worth it to me because I don’t even take them and I would be buying something I may never use, in effect, throwing away that dollar! :D)

I actually have a $1.00 off Jet Dry coupon to use for this deal, instead of the $.75 off!!!!!

I didn’t get the walgreens coupon in my SS. 🙁

It should be on sale for $3.99 this month, was it not at your store? Its a month long register reward deal.

Nope it was $4.29 but still a great deal! 🙂

And your walgreens should accept the coupon code, the last four of the coupon without actually having the coupon, since it is a walgreens coupon, they will get corporate scandown.

For those of us who didn’t get the coupon, what is the 4-digit code to tell the cashiers?

All the Walgreens in Vegas were sold out! Here is what I did instead: Got the Finish Gelpacs instead. They were $3.99 with the RR. Used the $1.50 off coupon in Sunday’s paper and the $.75 off printable coupon. Total for these were $1.74 AND they have the Jet Dry rinse in the gelpacs, so there is no need for the Jet Dry. Each box gives you 20 washes! Just an idea if you cannot find the Jet Dry 🙂

Has anyone else tried this deal? I had my cashier try the 4 digit code, but it beeped :(.

I am almost certain my cashier will tell me I can’t use the booklet and the in-ad coupons together. Oh, well, I only have one MQ left anyway because I used most last week.

Whoops, my comment was on the Bayer Aspirin.

Just an update…I believe that the code given here is wrong. I checked the system and the code for the Finish/Jet Dry is 5323.

GOOD LUCK =P

Yep – You are right – Thanks! Just a typo, my bad!

However, I will add that if the insert didn’t come in someone’s area, it’s possible it won’t be in the system at that store. So, giving the 4 digit code may not be of help. Hopefully everyone will find it since it’s a great deal! 🙂

I will say it definitely can’t hurt.

I know a few weeks ago when the Coke manufacturer’s coupon was in the store ad, having the code for the Coke Zero store coupon saved me a ton.

So don’t be afraid to try.

I was hoping someone could help me. I’m new to couponing and today was the first day I was going to trying anything from this site. The cashier would not ring me up and told me I couldn’t use these coupons together. Here’s the deal I was trying to do:

Get $5 RR WYB (2) Advil 40 or 50 ct., 16 or 20 ct. Advil PM $4.99
-$2/1 Advil Product PRINT
-$5 off WYB Advil AND Thermacare PRINT
ThermaCare HeatWraps 2 or 3 pack $5.99
-$3/1 Thermacare Heatwraps PRINT
-$4/2 any (2) Advil, Advil PM or Thermacare – -5-22-11 SS x7/31
=AS LOW AS $.49 EACH

I had 2 Advil and 1 Thermacare and these coupons:
-$2/1 Advil Product PRINT
-$5 off WYB Advil AND Thermacare PRINT
-$3/1 Thermacare Heatwraps PRINT

Am I a total newbie idiot and missing something? She wouldn’t even ring them into the register. She said it was too many coupons for the order and that she’d have to change the $5 off coupon to $4.99?

Thanks for your help.

Lauren,

You did have too many coupons.
The $5 RR will only print out for this deal once per transaction.

So what you want to do is buy ONE advil and ONE thermacare at a time.
The first time use the $5 off WYB advil and thermacare coupon. Pay and your $5 RR will print.
Then the next time you will use your $3/1 thermacare and your $2/1 advil coupons. Pay and your $5 RR will print.

Just remember…DO NOT use your first RR that printed on your second transaction…otherwise your second RR will NOT print.

From what I can tell you were buying three items and using Qs that required 4 items. When the Q says AND that covers two items.

I did great at Walgreens!! It was my first time and I got the Bayer Asprin free… In the Houston Area they are priced 2.99 so they are totally free… I got over $100 worth of merchandise for $25… I did 6 seperate transactions so I could use all my RR’s. I got Little Swimmers, Coppertone sunscreen, 2 box playtex tampons, 4 suave lotion, 1 Glade fabric spray, 4 candy bars, 2pkg hot dog, 3 box kraft macaroni, 2 boxes advil, 4 boxes bayer asprin, 3 cans mabdarin oranges, 1 bottle infusium 23, 2 packages schick quattro razors (disposable), 2 scunci hair ties, and the contact solution

Is the $1.50 RR still printing for the Finish Gelpacs 20ct as well?

The best rinse aid agent in the world is white vinegar. It’s good for the dishwasher too. The dishes don’t smell like vinegar, but they sparkle much more than mine ever did with Jetdry.

Can you put it in the same place you normally put rinse agent or do you need a special dispenser? I’d like to try this I always have problems with food particles left on my glasses, I’ve tryed many different brands of rinse agents nothing works.

Thanks

Does anyone know if this Jet Dry deal is working in the testing areas?

Missy May 23, 2011 at 1:32 pm

How do you get this coupon to go with a $.75 manufacturer coupon when it says “Limit one coupon per customer per offer. Coupon good only at Walgreens. Not valid with any other offer.” My Walgreens is so strict. I’m worried they will stop me on this one?!

Sean May 23, 2011 at 9:56 pm

Is this also working with the dishwasher tablets?

Cortney May 25, 2011 at 3:20 pm

$4.79 at my store.
