Any chance this deal is good for kids body wash? Just curious.

Jill – Hmmmm… I didn’t try the kids. The coupon certainly is since it says “any” but I didn’t try it for the RR deal.

Such a great deal, but already have like…16 body washes in the stockpile, 3 more added just this week from the wags offer (Old Spice/Gillette).

I can definitely see where this could get out of hand with all the freebies and cheapies that come from all the various stores weekly.

I just got two coupons in the mail from the free suave professionals a month or two ago. Anyone know if these prompt the RR?

I went to Walgreens today with my scotch tape coupon for $1 off and the manager told me I could only use ONE coupon because all of the numbers in the UPC were the same. I printed the coupons off of this site but they tried to makeout like my coupons were fradulant or somrthing. Can someone tell me if they can get away with that….

You should be able to use the coupons ONLY if they weren’t photo copied. My suggestion to you is to use color ink. That would eliminate any confusion and of problems.

And as far as the numbers being the same, the numbers that we look for is the time stamp numbers. They are NOT the UPC numbers, there are another group of numbers on the coupon. I am not sure exactly what the numbers represent, but it has to do with computer IP address and time that it is printed. If the numbers are the same, then that means that it was photocopied. We do have the right to refuse those coupons. If we submit photo copied coupons with those specific numbers on it, then we do NOT get credit and we take a loss to it as a store. That is one of the reasons why sometimes it may seem like a hassle, but it is for the sake of the stores profit and loss. I hope I helped.

There can’t be a time stamp on a manufacturer-issued PDF!

I picked up the Gillette body wash deal this morning with no problems. With my coupons and previous RR, I got 3 body washes and 3 deodorants free!

I’m sad to hear some of the negative talk about coupon fraud. I’ve always used them but have only recently learned how to maximize savings without doing anything dishonest. In less than a month, I have a years worth of free toothpaste.

I hope the stores don’t start refusing coupons :/

Just an FYI on toothpaste. It does expire. Most people don’t realize this, but there is a exp. date on the box, and usually a harder to see one on the tube itself.

As for Suave Body Wash, I have to say it is my fav, much to my surprise. I have Philosophy, Body Shop, Bath & Body Works, and assorted others. But it is (strangely) Suave that tops my list on so many levels.

It’s the weirdest thing, but I thought I’d share it for those who wouldn’t think (like I used to) that I’d like it. How I find it superior to the more expensive brands puzzles me, but after all these years, I must admit it’s true. Go figure.

Wow – thanks Mel – I haven’t tried the ones I bought yet. I’ll give them a shot. 🙂

Has anyone tried this with 3 of the 50% more sized bottles of body wash to see if it generated the RR?

It didn’t work. I bought 3 with a BOGO free coupon from the redplum we got today. They said that that was why, but i don’t think so. The BOGO coupon took off $3 though, so that was what I was expecting to pay anyways, and on smaller bottles. I imagine you can use the BOGO coupon on the smaller bottles and it’ll still print.

Just realized that you had to buy 3, not 2. I was confused. What happens when you bring 4 kids. 🙂 So, do free items count towards RRs or was it because I got the 50% more bottles? They rang up $2, but the coupon rang up $3.

The RR doesn’t apply to the 50% more bottles. I just used .50 off coupons on 3 of the larger bottles and the RR didn’t print.
