Do both take the printed coupons. I thought just Family Dollar is taking coupons?
According to their online coupon policy they both take coupons but it seems to be unwillingly in the store. That is why I drive past 2 Dollar Generals and 2 Family Dollars to get to a CVS. I will have to try them ONE more time in hopes of free toothbrushes for our Operation Christmas Child boxes.
I have absolutely no problems with DG or FD taking them at all. I did it today and got 8 🙂

I use coupons at Dollar General all the time… never tried Family Dollar. The only coupon that ever gave me trouble at DG was the Brach’s $1.50/2. After the first coupon, it wouldn’t accept anymore but they just manually price adjusted. I had 10 coupons 🙂 And instead of making me feel like I had bad/fake coupons, the manager was actually apologetic to ME! That’s rare!
