AIRWICK REGISTER REWARD DEAL
There is something funky going on with this one. I think this is another case of – Can we PLEASE fire the person at the Walgreens art department?
The products pictured in the ad are the WRONG product for the coupon and were not printing the Register Reward for me. The coupon in my insert is for the Freshmatic Ultra Odor Detect Starter Kit NOT the compact imotion pictured in the ad. So be careful with this one. Make sure you grab the right product and that your Register Reward prints.

I FOUND THE WAL-FEX!!! They were kind of hidden, on the allergy aisle they were all the way to the left where they have the bigger sizes of everything, and it had something hanging in front of it..ohhh Walgreens–we have a love hate relationship 🙂
That’s where I found it too! There were some ear plugs or something hanging on a display almost entirely covering the Wal-Fex at my store. No RR sign either so I had to double check the ad to be sure I was looking at the right thing.
I looked high and low for it, and finally found an employee to ask. They only had 5 of them hidden on a top shelf, and really no place on the shelf to put them.
the people in my town are hilarious! i went to 3 of the 4 wags and everyone was sold out of the wal-fex, except for the ones that werent marked on the shelf….one store didnt have all the tags out yet. they had plenty!

I had the same problem with the register reward not printing for the Airwick. I bought the item on the coupon, the Airwick freshmatic ultra odor detect. It rang up at the discounted price of $7.99 but the register reward didn’t print. The manager tried a few other varieties including the compact one and none worked. The ad is vague and says Airwick freshmatic or freshmatic “mini” so it should have worked. She just price adjusted mine so everything worked out ok. I also bought one of the Lysol varieties and that worked fine. I’m thinking it might be a computer glitch…? Hopefully they will fix it!
Mine didn’t print, either, but I thought it was the Wal-Fex that didn’t print, so they re-rang and gave me another one of those. I didn’t realize until later, but I kind of feel guilty….
Same thing happened to me. I had 2 transactions. 1 transaction was with the Air Wick Freshmatic Ultra- that one was fine no problems. The 2nd one i bought the same one you did (odor detect) and no RR the manager agreed that it should have printed one and tried and tried again to get it to work but never could so he forced out a RR for me! Woohoo!! I have never had a good experience at Walgreens, but i tried a new store yesterday and i LOVE them LOL i’m hoping they stay coupon friendly!
I only found a few boxes (<5) of the $3.99 Wal-flex at 2 of the 3 stores I visited. One store didn't receive any. I didn't buy it as it's not what I use for allergies, but I walked by it on my way to the Bayer.
I also had an issue with the Airwick air freshener not printing the $3 RR. The manager was so nice, though! He just rang up the Lysol healthy touch hand wash system and gave me the $3 RR for that. He and I couldn't figure out which air freshener system was supposed to print the $3 RR.

I am finding the Wal-Fex at my Walgreens but I am not finding the blistex any any of the three stores here. Has anyone else found it at your stores?
The blistex was by the shaving cream at my store instead of where the rest of the lip stuff is. i thought it was weird but they had a whole bunch of them! Good Luck

I found the Blistex in its own hanging display, get this…on the corner of the Allegra/Wal-Zyr shelf display. In this particular store, the Blistex display was the type where you take one lip balm to have the next one drop down (I hope that wasn’t confusing!).
Also, another Walgreens still has the Applied Nutrition Easy Absord Calciums on sale for $10, so the RR is still making this item free.

I found the blistex by the men’s deodorant. I also found the Wal-Fex and crunch bars. My perfect trip was derailed by a malfunctioning cantalina machine. The manager is holding my items until they can fix the machine. Hopefully everything will work out!
I found Hanes socks B1G1 and they had $1 peelies on them, they are priced at $6.99, so I payed $2.49 for a 6 pair

I found the Wal-Fex but my register reward did’t print! Ugh. My Walgreens did have Nestle Crunch Bars too but no Blistex For Men. (In Dallas)

Found everything but the Blistex, and I wandered around for 20 minutes trying to find it! Plenty of Wal-Flex, Bayer, Colgate toothbrushes, and the Pro-Glide. Pretty good trip today!
Did you have any problems with the $5 RR printing when buying $15 of qualifying products? I bought 8 Ragu sauces, which was $16 and had coupons plus past RR to bring my cost to $2.50. The RR didn’t print. They gave me a gift card because the ad was pretty clear that I should have gotten one.
Mine didn’t print either. I also bought 8 of the Ragu for $16. They wouldn’t fix it at my store saying that I used too many coupons which brought my total under $15. I have emailed Catalina.
EEK I totally forgot about that one and i did buy $15.99 worth (4 ragu, 2 lipton, and 1 hellmans mayo). Hmmm Guess I will call catalina to get mine mailed to me.
They tried to say that I used too many coupons too, but I told them that shouldn’t prevent me from getting a RR as I used coupons for other RR deals. They even tried ringing up the 8 Ragu without any coupons and the RR didn’t print. I would go back to the store.
My 8 Ragu sauces also wouldn’t print the RR. The manager beeped in multiple boxes of the Lipton Tea. I asked if it was only the sauce that didn’t print. She said she didn’t know, but she did know the Lipton did work. Sure enough, I got my $5 RR!
I had to speak with the manager this morning regarding the Purex. There were only three on the shelf, so I asked the girl up front if she could find out if there were any more in the back (so I could get the $4 RR deal with the purchase). She called her manager, and she checked in the back and found four more, but the mgr told the cashier to tell me I couldn’t have them because those were her last four and that it wasn’t fair for me to wipe them out. I had to very politely explain that the ad stated you had to buy five to get the $15 worth to get the RR and that by leaving only four on the shelf she wasn’t doing the next person any favors either.
I got my Purex.
The only other thing I bought today was Pledge. It’s originally $5.49, marked down to 2/$7. I had two coupons for $1/1 any Pledge, plus a $1/1 Pledge store coupon. So I got them for $2 each. Not as good as some of you guys do scoring all your free stuff, but when ya gotta have Pledge, $2 ain’t a bad deal! 🙂
There’s only one kind of Wal-Flex, that’s why it’s so hard to find. There’s not a thousand different types of it. It’s on the bottom shelf in my store. Is the Blistex targeted for men? It sounds like it is, because of where you guys are finding it. Things like that get hung because it’s overstock or there is no home spot for it. Then they’ll get hung by like items or by items that they think the demographic shopping there will also by that item. So it can either be hanging with the other chapstick or with men products.
I bought 4 ragu and 3 lipton…total $15.50…no RR. I really don’t want to have to go back and cause any trouble. I love the Wags I went to this morning, very nice people and they usually have sale items. Is there anything I can do, now that I am home, to get my RR?
Yes – call catalina – 1-800-COUPON – You’ll need your receipt, store info, etc. But they will look into it and they can send you your RR.
FYI – Catalina has regular business hours — so Monday thru Friday if their voicemail is to be believed 😉
The Airwick sprayers were clearly marked to receive a RR with the customary tag, but only received 1 out of 5 total seperate purchases. I purchased the exact item, exact scent so it should have printed. I’m in no mood to fiddle with a Store Mgr after this and not finding any Blistex or Wal-Fex in 2 stores. Our time and gas has to count for something — WAGS needs to pony up.
I just got off the phone with them – literally 2 minutes ago – about an inclusion in a deal – so they are there now. Sunday 3:30pm ET.
I found out after my last two trips that my Walgreens will not give me RR when I use the same RR for the same products. For example, I did the Skippy/Ragu deal to get the $15 and $5RR. But let’s say I did the same transaction twice and used the $5RR from the Ragu/Skippy to buy more Ragu/Skippy it wouldn’t print another $5RR. So you have to break up the transactions.Use that $5RR to buy something else that has RR. Then use those RR to buy more Ragu/Skippy at $15 to get anotehr $5RR. I hope that makes sense! LOL

I had trouble with the $15 deal too. I bought 6 Ragu and 2 Skippy for $16 and it didn’t work. The manager told me it must be because I used coupons. I asked why the razor RR and Colgate RR printed, because I used coupons on those too, and he said he was sure that the coupons messed it up. He told me there was nothing he could do, so I just returned it all.
Tried the other Wags down the street and it didn’t work there either but they didn’t try to tell me it was because of coupons. 😛
I had a chat with my Walgreens manager today about all the free products being completely sold out every Sunday morning. She told me that she has figured out who is clearing the shelves and how they are doing it. She said that this person is coming in on Saturday and hiding the products behind other products in the store. The manager saw her hide the only 6 Wal-Fex allergy packets they had behind the Centrum Silver. She was planning on confronting this person when they came into the store today. It’s disgusting that people are so greedy and selfish that they would do something like that. The manager was very nice and said they are currently ordering the max amount of items that they are allowed whenever she sees a sale coming up. She also told me if something is out of stock to request a raincheck and they will adjust the price for the register rewards.
What walgreens location do you shop at? I have the same problem where I shop, and maybe I should start looking behind items, I never thought somone would do that, pretty sneaky
People hide stuff behind other product at my Walgreens too. But they don’t hide it far enough away and if I just look right around where I am I can usually find it. At my store the manager told me that they have people with coupons waiting outside the door at 8AM when they open on Sunday morning and they come in and clean them out. They’ve since instituted a “4 of the same coupon” policy so no one person can take more than 4 of the products. I went at 2pm but they were out of the Wal-fex and the Bayer. But I did ask the lady at the cosmetics counter an she was really sweet and got me the Men’s blistex which was on a special display in the men’s shaving area.
Lol the blistex was in the front of the store- me and my fave cashier were running around like crazy ladies trying to find it lol! TONS of the walflex and other rr deals too. I got 6 candies- butterfingers and nestle crunch bars yay! Going back for more blistex, since my coupon wary bro actually needed some. And can’t wait to have some leftover rr’s for my herbashine!
Just an FYI I went to buy the purex and there was only one of the advertised ones, I tried the other two types, (green and white bottles) and they scanned at $3 also and printed an rr as well 🙂 happy shopping!
In my inserts they didn’t have the Purex or Dial coupons. In fact, there were no redplum inserts in my paper at all. I’ve tried looking online at the clipping services but they don’t have them listed either. =(
the proglide razor didnt print the rr for me this time. I got the bonus pack (comes like in a hard case with shave gel or something). I have purchased this in the past and gotten the RR for it. So my favorite manager price adjusted the product for me to take off the amount for the rr.
also the airwick freshmatic didnt print either.I got the one pictured and used the $4/1 coupon. It took the coupon but RR didnt print. So again my manager just adjusted the price to take off the RR for me.
Which is the airwick freshmatic that will actually print the RR? I would like to go pick up another one.

My walgreens had plenty of Wal-flex and crunch.The Wal-Flex was marked too. I have started going right when my store opens and I am able to get the things that I want. If I wait they are always wiped out.
My store,St. Pete Florida, had the Bounty single rolls on clearance for .39 each. They also had all Veet 2.00 off. I had 3.00 coupons that I had printed from somewhere. The wax strips were only 2.99 so I got them for free.

New to WAGs so I’m a little unsure of what to do. I had the same problem w/ the AirWicks, rang up correct but didn’t get my RR. How likely am I to get them from Catalina? So I go back and see if the store manage can help me out?

The first Walgreens I went to this morning, the Airwick RR didn’t print and the manager was giving me the runaround about it being a typo in the ad, etc. I just told her to return it and I got my money back. I went to the other Walgreens across town. I asked the manager at that store about the Airwick and she said she had it fixed so it would print the RR. She said just to remind the cashier to scan the barcode she had placed at the registers and it would print. She was so nice. She also said they were out of the WalFex and should get more during the week and while I was still shopping came and brought me a box that she found in the store. It is amazing how one Walgreens can be so crappy, when the other one in town is so AWESOME!!!
That is so sneaky. People are hiding items! That is why there are so many cashiers and managers that give me a “look” when I go in with coupons. I try to limit the amount of transactions I do at each store to 3 and I try not to wipe them out. So here I am driving store to store so that 1) I don’t aggravate cashers and managers with multiple transactions and 2) I don’t give couponers a bad name and people are being so sneaky or unsportsman like (whats a good word to five these people?).
Found some Lysol Cucumber hand soap systems on clearance for $6.00. Had two $3.00 off coupons and received a $3.00 RR on both separate purchases. Almost free($.36 tax each)
We have Wal-fex here in Bryan/College Station, Tx! I’ve got 5 boxes already! Had the problem with the Airwick too, but the manager was nice enough to apply a $3 credit to my next transaction! I’m not getting the crunch bars, I’m getting BF SNACKERZ, got a really good stockpile going, lol 🙂 But, I did not get Dial or Schick coupons in my inserts this week 🙁
Went to Walgreens at 4:30 am picked up a Wal Flex, Air Wick, Bayer, AngelSoft, Tuff Paper Towels. Store didn’t carry the Blistex had a total of 5 boxes of Wal Flex spent a little over $6 OOP after tax I was happy
I found the Wal-Fex without a problem this morning, although the Wags I went to had NONE of the Register Reward deals advertised. Luckily, I’m used to that at Wags, so I had confidence knowing that the items would still ring up at the sale price and I would get the Register Reward (if not, that’s what the ad is for, right?).
No Crunch bars at my Wags, though. Someone cleared it out before I got there at 11:30am.

The Tuff Paper Towels 8 rolls are $4. There is a $1 off coupon in the Walgreens June Booklet making it $3. Each roll comes out to 37 cents!
I have a question about the RRs from last week. I have like $40 worth of RRs and I want to use them on the deals this week. I know that you can’t use the same RR to purchase the same items, etc. but the razors I got last week were printing out a $5 RR from P & G. Are any of the RRs this week from P and G? Are there any ones that I need to look out for so that I don’t use a RR from last week and not get new ones this week?
You can check P&G brands site online. I usually do when I am confused about RR, your cashiers could probably tell you as well. Don’t forget your coupon/item ratio when using RR.
Yeh I had a problem with the Airwick Freshmatics too, I first purchased the wrong one, because it rang up $14.99, then I purchased the correct one and no RR came out. They gave me a paper to mail in to get my RR. I hope they fix the problem soon because I want to get another one! I have 5 cats and these are the best to keep kitty odors down!
My favorite cashier helped figure out the unilever RR. He check for me and quick scanned 6 lipton tea to equal $15 and it print fine. So I went and got 3 teas and 4 ragu sauces (2.50×3) + ($2×4)=$15.50….it did not print!!! So for some reason when you mix the items in the ad it does not print. he also did a quick scan on 8 jars of sauce to equal $16 and it printed fine.
I think they have glitch but at least they still gave me the RR when they scanned the sauce x8!!! I love my walgreens!! PS Arkansas City Kansas!
The first Walgreens I went to said that I would have to do a rebate on the Airwick but at the next store I ask if RR were printing and he said no but that his store was selling them for $4.99 and I could still use my coupon…Ask the manager at your store if they could make the same deal.
I’ve found 30 ct bottles of Caltrate calcium supplements on clearance at several of my Wags locations for $1.99 in the past month. There was a recent insert coupon for $2 off any Caltrate, making these bottles free. The ones I’ve found have expiration dates around May 2012.
No Blistex or 5ct Wal-Fex at my stores.
