The coupons in it don’t expire until 9-31-11 (I thought there was only 30 days in September) so they still may be around the stores. I read about the booklet on this site a while back.
Out of five stores in our area, I FINALLY found these coupon booklets in the pharmacy section, in a stand by the cash register UNDER other products…is it me or does Walgreens try to hide coupons? Anyhow, I grabbed a couple extra bookets (five…not taking a stack so that no one else can get them) but I am excited about the diapers as I have twins…since I have extras though I am totally willing to help out a few fellow couponers and mail them to people who couldn’t find them in exchange for other coupons mailed to me 🙂 Swapping is fun 🙂 just shoot me an email at [email protected]
Yes, I think Walgreens does hide their coupons. I still shop occasionally at our Walgreens but I finally came to the realization that this store tries harder than any other to keep you from getting their deals. I get so sick of returning items that I was overcharged on and all the times they didn’t use their own coupons or ad prices even after I stood there and showed it to them. I have to watch like a hawk and it wears me out. I think that’s what they’re hoping for. I often wonder how many of their register rewards are forgotten or expire and how much this puts back into their pockets. I feel sorry for people who shop there who have no clue to the ways they rip you off if you’re not extremely vigilant and savvy. Sometimes their deals are worth the headache and sometimes they’re not. That’s why sites like this help people.
Help! I’m confused about the WAGS diapers. Can you use two WAGS coupons for the same product?

When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.
And by the way the Infant care book is a store coupon, and the other booklet is coded as a Manuf. coupon.

My Dollar General had tearpads for $1/1 Ragu. Might not hurt to check it out and grab a few.
My dollar general did too. Took some and tried them at a local grocery store. Ragu on sale for 1.67, minus mq = .67 a jar 🙂 huge score for my family. You can get the alfredo sauce too!!! Love when I can find the tear pads
I get my inserts early and there was a $2/1 Bayer Advanced Aspirin coupon which would make it FREE after RR! There’s also a mail in rebate for try me FREE. They will deduct the coupon so you’ll only get $1 back.

I went to 4 Walgreens in my area and the $1 off coupons I could find were for Wal-itin or Wal-zyr…Not Wal-fex 🙁 Could this be something that is a regional printing?

Hoping that I can stock up on one a day vitamins tonight. They are BOGO 50% off this week and tomorrow they go on sale for 6.99. Hoping they will combine both when my store turns to get 2 bottles for $6.49 after 2 $1 MQ and then 2 $1 store coupons in the answers book.

I went to 5 walgreens and could not find the $1 coupon off the wal-fex allergy medication – found one for walzyr – are you guys finding this coupon?
I thought I had it but I had to look at the allergy booklet I picked up today after I read your comment and your right. Wal zyr has a code of 2059 which if 2092 is supposed to be the coupon code for Wal-fex then there should be a coupon somewhere. Some cashiers will allow you to give them the coupon code 2092 so that you can still get the $1 off. Worth a try if you can’t find the booklet.

When you purchase an item with a RR will you be able to receive RR from the new item?
I’ve checked with both our Walgreen stores, but no luck on Great Deals on W brand booklet. I talked with quite a few employees, most not having a clue what I was talking about except one who thought they came out last month…but sure they are gone now. Is there a way to get hold of these coupon booklets, or print pages on line, or something? Some times I think it is because we are a smaller area and they don’t always receive these booklets….just wondering.

Neither did I, Cammy. It rang up at the sale price ($7.99) but the $3 RR didn’t print. The super nice manager tried reringing it on it’s own to see if it would work, and it didn’t. So he just rang up one of the Lysol Healthy Touch Hand Soap systems and gave me the $3 RR from that. He and I even looked on the shelf trying to figure out which air freshener product was supposed to work and give the $3 RR, but we couldn’t.
only thing i can think of it either u have used 3 dollars rr from your previous perchased meand did you buy this product befor and they gave you 3 RR and u used on the same product and if this is not the case than i can advise you talk to the store mananger and he will give you some times if you shop late night after 11 pm than there register stop printng the coupon.I hope i anwer your question.

i was at walgreens today i bought the 2 single scented oils and had the coupon for a free warmer the cashier told me that i couldn’t use it because the warmer was free in the walgreens ad and it showed up gift on the receipt. in your scenerio you used it am i wrong? i also didn’t get the reward for the airwick freshamatic! i wanted the lysol onebut the store didn’t carry it. i am in middleburg hts ohio thanks
You can use a coupon on a FREE item in a B1G1 Free sale according to Walgreens coupon policy, as long as the total doesn’t go below $0. That’s all this is – you are buying X and getting Y Free. So I think that was pretty stinky that she wouldn’t let you use it.

The Walgreens in my area (GR, MI) have one infant care booklet at the register at the beauty counter that they’ll scan if you check out there, so you might want to check with them.
The $5 RR for the Ragu/Skippy/Lipton/Hellman’s deal didn’t work at my store (in Maine). The manager was nice and gave me a gift card with $5 on it and plans on calling corporate tomorrow to find out why. She was telling customers that the RR wasn’t working because of using coupons and the total was less than $15 after coupons. However, the Purex deal worked just fine! Any thoughts out there?
I totally didn’t look at my receipts and stuff till I got home, and my RR for that deal didn’t print either. 🙁 I looked at my receipt and I did purchase the $15 ($18 prior to coupons, but $14 after, and I thought maybe that was why). However if the manager told you that wasn’t the case then I read on another site that you could call (not sure of where, or the number…gonna go research that now) to report this and get the RR or compensation. I think I will go research that!
This happened to me with the Sparkle, Angel Soft $4 RR deal. The manager was called over and he couldn’t explain it so he just did another transaction running them through and it printed on that transaction. Funny, because I did the same deal the day before at another Walgreens in town. It pays to keep a watchful eye for the RR’s for each one of the deals you are doing.

I think I figured it out. Bought 8 Ragu X 2 = $16. Then used 4 $1/2Q = $12 oop. I also bought blistex and bayer but I never got my $5 RR. I used a Nivea RR from the week before – which is owned by Unilever. Therefore you don’t get the Unilever $5RR. Wish I would have known that before stores are out of RAgu.
I have been calling every store near my house in NJ and my aunts house in VA trying to find the Great Savings Book and no one even knows what I am talking about. I have emailed and called corporate (still waiting on them for get back to me) trying to locate a copy of this book or get one sent to me. Can someone please tell me what city and states you are finding the books or possibly send me the complete bar code or an image for the diaper coupon? After a lot of research the manager at my Walgreens said since he was unable to find a copy that he would be willing to key it in for me if I could find it for him. As most of you know diapers are very expensive and I have 2 boys (20m and 3m) and we can never have enough diapers. Thanks for the help.
