I wanted to give you a quick reminder that today is the National Association of Letter carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. It’s the day that your mail carrier will pick up any non-perishable foods to be donated to local food pantries.
The Stamp Out Hunger food drive, always the second Saturday in May, has become the nation’s largest single-day food drive! So if you haven’t put out your donation, be sure to do so now! 🙂
It’s a great way to donate some of those free food items you have picked up with someone in need.

Just ran out to assist my mailman with my donation so he didn’t have to get out of his little van. He said I was the FIRST one to donate on the street, I was so disappointed that my neighbors don’t step up and donate but as I looked down the other side of the street I saw only one other house with a bag out. People just don’t see the need.
i put out two bags,,, my mail carrier was like WOW!!! Love being able to give back!!!
Mine was the only one on my block as well…I also put two bags =)..and a nice cold starbucks refresher for the mail lady !!!
