FREE Pure Protein Bars!

by Christie Bisbee on March 12, 2011

Guess what? The Pure Protein Bars deal I wrote about HERE just got better! Pure Protein has added a $1/1 coupon that will enable you to get them for FREE! These prices were listed as running until 3/26 and there was a ton of stock at my stores.  If your store doesn’t have signs, I suggest you do a price check.  Here are a few different scenarios for you…

If your store follows corporate policy and will adjust the coupon down for you, then you have (2) options…

BUY
1 – Pure Protein Bar $.99 EACH
USE
1 – $1/1 Pure Protein PRINT (must register comes in your e-mail)
Total = 1 FREE!

BUY
2 – Pure Protein Bar $.99 EACH
Total = $1.98
USE
1 – B1G1 FREE Pure Protein Bars PRINT or 03-06-11 RP
1 – $1/1 Pure Protein PRINT (must register comes in your e-mail)
Total = 2 FREE!

If your store won’t follow corporate policy and adjust the coupon down & you want to be spared the evil beep then you can…

BUY
6 – Pure Protein Bar $.99 EACH
Total = $5.94
USE
3 – B1G1 FREE Pure Protein Bars PRINT or 03-06-11 RP
2- $1/1 Pure Protein PRINT (must register comes in your e-mail)
Total = .97 or $.16 EACH!

I did this deal on Friday and was able to get 8 of them free. I had 4 B1G1 and 4 $1 coupons. All went through without beeping until the last one as I was expecting. I explained to the young man he would need to adjust the coupon to $.96 since this would accomodate the last 4 at $.99. His screen told him the item was not there which he could see it was. After he tryied to get it take it several more times and I suggested again he enter it for $.96 he just overrode it for the full $1. This is an exception for me with Wags, but pleasant one.

I did this deal last night for 2 bags with 1 B1G1 and 1 $1/1 and they adjusted the price of the bar up to $1.00 so that it would take the coupon

Tried this morning but the cashier with “assistant manager” on his nametag was stymied at the fact that the coupon was more than the .99 sale amount. Didn’t bother asking him to adjust the price up and just had him remove it.

That’s where that last option comes in, it’s beep free and no couponing class required. 😉
