Note: I was at my Walgreen’s finishing up some of this weeks deals, the cashier informed me that the Catalina machine was fried due to the new cash register installation! As of yesterday, the Catalina’s still are not printing and they weren’t sure when the system will be back up. I’m not sure if this is for all Walgreen’s, or just in my area. But I thought you should know before you go out and get the register reward deals tomorrow. My cashier did tell me that there is a form to fill out and send in if you still want to purchase the items getting the register reward. You fill out the form, send it in, then you will get your register reward in the mail.
That happened to one of the cash registers at my local Walgreens here–the others work, but one catalina at the main checkout lane wasn’t working and I had to move to another. i hope they get it fixed soon!

yes – you are basically paying $8 in the first transaction and ending up with a $4 RR so everything is costing you $4.
