Regarding the Scotch tape deal..If you’re paying $1.99 for one, and getting two free, can you use (2)of the $1/1 coupons to get the whole thing for free?
I did last time they had this offer (I used 3 $1 coupons) and got a couple other items because the tape is more than free. So I got the other items using the benefits of the tape coupons.
My stores in central Arkansas will not let me use more than 2 $1 off coupons on the tape. They will not allow ANY overage at all. They adjust down all my coupons so my items are free with no overage.
I also bought 3 for $1.99 and used 3 – $1 off coupons making it better than free as well. You can buy 9 rolls in one transaction and use 9 coupons. I will likely be doing this deal again to get other things, but I will be donating the tape if anyone knows of somewhere I might could donate tape! I have almost 50 rolls from a few weeks ago (I’m thinking this may be my “lifetime supply” and my hubby and I joke about it regularly, LOL…) I did NOT come close to clearing the store! 😉 My store’s manager was prepared for the deal! *Happy Dance*

I went to Walgreens today with my scotch tape coupon for $1 off and the manager told me I could only use ONE coupon because all of the numbers in the UPC were the same. I printed the coupons off of this site but they tried to makeout like my coupons were fradulant or somrthing. Can someone tell me if they can get away with that….
On the scotch tape deal can we get overage like a few weeks ago on the same deal if we use 3 1/1 cpns?
Exactly what I was thinking ! Starting tomorrow I’m going to try using 3 $1 off coupons for the Scotch tapes (should have a little over $1 overage) and use it towards the Dove Men deodorant which will be in the same transaction.
Your store gives an overage? Thought it was in coupon policy to adjust down, no overages. Mine is super picky-nothing over!!
My store refuses to adjust down, so I have to buy something else to use up the overage. That’s nice most of the time, but it is really annoying when the overage is a penny!
Nevermind, I thought Wags does overage but according to their policy they don’t. In that case, I’m using only 2 of the scotch coupons with the deodorant tomorrow.
I haven’t had any problem receiving the overage as long as I have them scan the manufacturer coupon first then scan the Walgreens coupons. I bought 3 rolls of tape last time they were B1G2 Free and had no problem using 3 $1/1 coupons. HTH!
i think it is only fair to give us overage…they don’t submit the coupon for the lower price to the coupon clearing house so they get the full amount back. if they adjust down they are making extra on the transaction.

The best thing would be to do a “print screen” with the ad up, paste it into MS Paint, crop what you want/need, and then print accordingly.
If you scroll down to where the coupon you want is on the screen, then when you go to print, change the setting to “current view” instead of “all” and it will only print the tape coupon. 🙂

what does that number tell you?
It tells me that the B1G1 coupon “attaches” to both products. Unlike coupons that end in “01” where it would only attached to 1 product (ie the free item). If a coupon attaches to both products, you can’t use another coupon, like a $1/1 for the item you are buying (which is suggested in the “deal idea” section of her post.
this is what i was thinking as well. i’m trying to figure out a scenario with old spice now, since the two coupons will probably beep when used together.

At my Walgreens, you don’t need a filler for the coupon-to-item ratio if one (or more) of the coupons are WAGS.

I used both the B1G1 and the $1/1 coupon this morning. No beeping. The B1 body wash G1 deod. coupon totally confused the cashier though. Took her several minutes to understand.
I am confused when you guys talk about “overages” because I thought according to Wags policy they DO NOT give overages but adjust the coupon down to the price IF coupon is more than item costs. Mine does not give overages.
Even though that is their policy, it seems to be VERY YMMV… My store HATES to adjust coupons down, most of the time a good thing. A HORRIBLE thing with things like the last Splenda deal when the Q needed to be adjusted $0.01 (I wound up going down the road to another Wags to do that deal!)

You can use 3 of the $1/1 pdf coupons. Just give those first and the in ad last and make sure you have items to cover the overage and you will be fine

Lori – The deodorant coupon might be gone by now, which explains why there was only a coupon for body wash. 🙁 Unfortunately, that means it won’t be free anymore so, $.99 each. Also, if by any chance you requested the sample of Dove + Men care a few months ago, it did come with a coupon for the deodorant. So check your binder. 🙂

Is the “Just for Men” MIR a different one than we did in January, 2011?
Walmart allowed me to use those BOGO gillette body wash/deo coupons with some other BOGO Gillette deo/body wash coupons so they were both free! Rarely see reciprocal coupons like that! I got 3 sets and still have 3 of the BOGOs for this deal!

I notice the following in my Wags add (*limit 1 coupon printed per offer). What exactly does this mean? That I can only use one coupon when buying multiples? For example- I could only use the b1g1 free for the Body Wash deal and no others?
I’m fairly new at Wags shopping, but I believe that refers to the RR coupons. So if you want to do more than one of those deals, you have to do a separate transaction.

Ok I am new at this and I have a question on the gillette body wash deal. If I have three buy one body wash and get deodrant free and three buy one deodrant get a body wash free and they both end in ’01’ can I use them both and buy three body wah and three deodrant and get them all free?
Also how do I know which RR I can use on other purchases? From what I understand you cant use them to purchase certain other products or is it just other products that have RR to print?

Sadly it seems you have to hand them the manuf coupons first, and one they take that $ off, then give them the Wags coupon.

I DID give her the coupons with the Wags coupon on the very bottom for the tape. She took it upon herself to go thru all of my coupons first and before she rang anything up told me that since 2 of the 3 tapes were free I could only use 1 coupon on the 1 tape I pay for. Doesn’t this go against their policy of allowing 2 coupons on BOGO free items? But THEN she let me buy razors on BOGO free and use 2 of the $3 off MQ – which is essentially the same thing that she didn’t let me do with the tape? I wanted to point this out to her but didn’t want to miss the deal on the razors. It didn’t make sense to let me do the same thing with one iten and not the other. I guess next time I will hold onto the WAGS Q until she totals it and then give it to her. Or find a more friendly clerk.
I had the same thing happen to me yesterday with the tape. I said I should be allowed to use two $1 Qs (with one adjusted down) according to the Wags Q policy, but she would have none of it. I didn’t buy the tape. There’s another store with a really nice manager and cashiers; I will just have to avoid the one where she won’t follow the Q policy.
BTW, at that store the Gillette deodorants were marked as $5.79. They took off $4.99 for the Q for two of the deodorants and $2.39 for the 50% off one. At the second store I went to (the nice one), I just got two deodorants and they took off $4.50 for each coupon (the deodorants are $5.99 there, so B1G! 50% off comes to $9). So I definitely know which Wags to go to from now on, even if it is a little further from my house.

The one for the Buy the Gillette BW get the Deo free is from the P&G insert from the beginning of the month not from the RP. 🙂
For those trying to double up with the B1G1 free coupon for off… You cannot use other coupons with it… Says so on the coupons.
Got the Deli Creations free after RR by using Qs from this weekend’s circular. Would have rather had lunchables with fruit, but none of the Wags here seem to carry them. And the Deli Creations were fine – I like that the sandwich isn’t pre-assembled so I can skip ingredients if I want.
