I work at a Walgreens actually and i came across this Right Guard coupon fiasco this morning. As i was ringing up my customer his Right Guard rang up $4.99 for the first, $0.00 for the second. the coupon is valid only for $4.49 so he had to pay .50 for 2 bottles and he used a register rewards on the remainder which brought his total to like $1.68
It will usually never be free. Although I have came across the items that have no tax that will come up free. But you have to pay tax on just about everything. I work at my local Walgreen’s, and most of us in my department all coupon, as well as some of the managers. You will always have to pay the tax, and from what I understand it will be on the price of the items as if they weren’t on a sale. So depending on your states sales tax you will be able to get a general idea.
I just tried this at walgreens, and they are ringing up 1 for 4.49 and 1 for .50, so they entered my coupon for .50. 🙁 hope everyone else has more luck than me.
yeah, the ad says B1G1 free, but in stores it’s buy 1 @ $4.49 or buy 2 for $4.99. Basically the way my cashier did it was the coupon would be $4.49, meaning you’d pay 50 cents for 2 bottles. Still a great deal, but not free.

Did anyone else not get the BOGO coupon for the Right Guard/Dry Idea? My inserts come on Saturday and I’ve looked through them a dozen times and can’t find this Q. Strange, because we almost always get all the coupons!
We never get more than one insert in each paper, so you probably just didn’t get it. It’s not fair! I think everyone should get them all!! 🙂
I haven’t gotten my local paper (it gets delivered on Sundays) but I did pick up the larger statewide paper we get, and the coupons that come in the statewide paper are so different from what we get in our local paper. The statewide paper is $1 more per paper but totally worth it! Maybe you should look into that!
Sometimes the coupons can be in certain region papers only. They may not be available in all areas.
off the subject… but I was wondering if I can used a catalina coupon from Walgreens at RA. For example, I have 4 coupons for 2 off any Revlon beauty tool that I would like to use at RA . It says Manu CPN but it also say “redeemable at Walgreens”??? please help
You can use it at RA. The only time you wouldn’t be able to is if it says “Redemable ONLY at Walgreens.”

After reading many of these entries, I have come to realize there WAS a PG coupon book in the Sunday paper. I looked in all the papers on the stand and NONE of them had a PG…only SmartSource. So, I assumed they didn’t put one in this week’s paper, and I bought 4 of them. I am soooooo upset by this. Any way that I can still find them (even though it’s Monday)?
The P&G was from May 1st (5-1-11) not yesterday. I suggest going to eBay HERE. You can often pick up inserts and coupons there.

generally the $/2 coupons attach to both items, meaning you could only use one coupon for both items (since it’s like using a 50 cent coupon for both).
Hi! I have a question about the Cottonelle deal. The Wags coupon in the May book states “limit one coupon per customer per offer”… does that mean that only $1 will be taken off for the entire transaction, or will the one coupon apply to more than one package?

Jess – those are just all the coupons available. If you use (2) of the $.75 ones the Ghirardelli will be $.75. However if you wanted the Ritter, than since it’s a $1/2 that would be $1 each. 🙂

That same thing happened to me and I am from upstate ny so I believe it is a reginal coupon. I noticed several coupons in my add that weren’t on the sunday coupon preview so that’s my conclusion.
I saw in the add that the cottonelle dose not have a RR on it. I went today to buy some and made two transactions one of 2 cottonelles and one of 3 cottonelle. neither printed out a RR. for $3 or for $4. Is this sale only on certain areas.
That’s a good question.. Not sure, but I went to CouponNetwork.com and when you click under “YourBucks Offers” – after you’ve registered and indicated which Walgreens you shop at, it should pull up a list of the current offers. Mine pulls up the Cottonelle deal!

I have a $1 coupon that came in the package last time I bought them for RR’s that I will use, but $2 off would have sure been a lot nicer!
I also do not have any buy 1 get 1 free on the Dry Idea and Right Guard.
Of course, knowing my Walgreen’s, when I go to shop tomorrow morning they will probably already be out of all the things that are good deals anyway.
Today I tried to do the walgreens shopping scenerio 5/1. It mentioned that my out of pocket should of been about $3.75 with $3 RR, with confusion of the RR and coupons and items not being available and not knowing the coupon policies my total out pocket was $22.50 and $6 RR. This was not a good experience but hopefully next time it will be better.
I needed to do this and learn from it so I would be better prepared next time.
On the Contonelle deal — I was told I couldn’t use a manuf
coupon with coupon in Wags May booklet b/c it was also a manuf coupon. Is this true?
I went to my local store to get the Right Guard body wash and I luckily (or so I thought) found two on the shelf. I gave the cashier my BOGO coupon and the manager came out to let me know that I had to buy 3 ( he wanted me to pay full price for 1 so I could get the other 2 free). He said that he received a letter from corporate to do this because customers were getting the body washes for free. I only had 2 so I had the cashier void them. I was in a rush so I did not have my Wags policy to show him and I will be calling corporate today to find out the situation. Does anyone know if Wags is changing their policy?

Help…..Can someone tell me if I can purchase two Right Guard deodorants from Walmart and use one BOGO coupon on each item and end up getting the two items for free. Is this allowed? Also, I went to Walgreens yesterday to purchase the Airwick deal and they were out of stock… so I went to the cashier to ask for a rain check and she told me she couldnt write the rain check for the $5.99 price due to the RR. So, she wrote me rain checks out for the $8.99. That’s not a good deal…. Is this how the raincheck policy work?
