If you use (2) $1/2 & buy 7 it should go through with no beeps & cost .03.
If you only bought 2 Snickers eggs, instead of 7, would the overage after the $2/2 coupon count towards other items?
The coupon will beep & I doubt the cashier would push it through on .29 items. You might be able to have them give you 2 eggs for free (if they follow their own coupon policy & adjust the coupon down).

The sale limits 6 of the snicker eggs in one transaction (on the tag). I used that coupon and it worked just fine for me (it actually has the snicker creme egg singles listed in the fine print on the coupon). So, it will work just fine. I bought other things in the transaction. No beeps. Easy peasy! 🙂

Has anyone used the $1 off Gain Detergent coupon for the Dish soap since technically it is Dish Detergent? I heard someone mention this a while ago and I was curious about it. Thanks
yes, i think it would go through, especially if the price of the dish soap is $1 or over. But I don’t think the coupon was intended for that.
I used it and the cashier didn’t even question it.
I used it because it said detergent and dish soap is “detergent.” It did not beep. Some of the coupons said, dish detergent, while others did not.

Yes, as long as the items you’re purchasing are from a different company than the items you received the RR for. In other words, you can use Almay RR to buy Colgate toothpaste, and receive the Colgate RR. But if you use the Almay RR to buy another Almay product, your RR for that second product will not print. Make sense?
The RR deal with Hershey’s I am hoping will work with the coupons from the march soda and Hershey/planter $15.00 in store coupons that were received!! I have been holding on to them…I don’t have them with me to verify that those will work or seen the as yet but fingers crossed!
Deb, I did the snickers egg deal tonight with one coupon. The Sunday sale prices start at my store on Sat. evenings. I bought 4 snicker eggs for $1.16, used 1 $1/2 coupon, and got 4 snicker eggs for 16 cents. No beeps! Not as good as with 2 coupons, but still cheap!
Just got back from Walgreens and the manager would not let me get the Renuzit deal. She said I could not use a second coupon on an item that I was not paying for. Then I showed her the coupon policy and she said that was a glitch and she could not hard key anything in. 🙁
Carolina – Call corporate and complain, she’s making stuff up!!! You CAN use (2) coupons on a B1G1! And if you have another store, try there.
I know I just got off the phone with corporate the lady that spoke to me was nice. She said I should have been able to use two coupons and that I will get a resolution in 2 business days. Whatever that means. I will try another store. Thanks
That means the store manager will be giving you a call to see if the problem was resolved.
I think it will just be easier to try at another store. Plus the manager wasn’t too happy when she got to me. A man had been trying to speak to someone in pharmacy for over an hour. When he came in he was super upset. The manager got chewed out. Then she had to deal with me lol.
I was having a pleasant conversation with a manager and the BOGO issue came up. He said he was originally saying no to the Right Guard BOGO coupons because he wasn’t sure if people chould be using it beacaue it was BOGO at the store. He called corporate and they told him it was a legitimate way to use the coupon and the WAGS deal. If there are any questions at all concerning coupons and the manager tells you differently always call corprate. I think most of the time we know the coupon policy better than the managers do.
I don’t even try coupons anymore on BIGO at Walgreens in NW IN – the clerk on the deodorant a few weeks ago said I couldn’t have 2 items for free. I tried another store and the clerk informed me that she was an employee and wasn’t allowed to ck out with 2 coupons on BIGO items. I called coporate and was told it is up to the store manager. It is most frustrating dealing with Walgreens – even with the coupon policy in hand.

I live in NW IN too. Just take you coupon to the Walgreens in Schererville by Burr, across from the gas station. They took mine BoGo and didn’t charge anything but tax.

No beeping from register- coupons went through. I was so excited.
However,had to go to 3 stores to find one that had the candy; even woke up early and went in at 8:00am – bummer!

Gina, that is what I come up with too. Here the old computers still take off the BGLP savings at the end, so your cashier should value the coupon at the value of the product.

The cashier was very frustrated with the new scanners because she said it beeps at every move. So, she just kept hitting a button until it quit beeping and went on. 🙂
you don’t need a filler but if you buy something else, the difference will go towards your total. Make sure you give the MQ first before scanning a store Q.

In our add in North Port, FL. there is a q for 79c 1 lb domino sugar & in today’s paper there is -0.75/2. 83c for 2 lbs.
Also, i went to wags last night (haven’t shopped @ wags in a while) & my b2g1 free suave body soap q counted as 3 q’s so i had to get a filler i wasn’t expecting. i don’t remember ever running into this b4 has any1 else noticed this? [email protected]

Sometimes a coupon if it’s like a $1/2 will attach to (2) items. Or if it’s a B1G1 it might or might not attach to (2) items, or in your case a B2G1 (attached to 3 items). Wags Qs don’t count at all.
So to be safe just have extra fillers (like the pencils).
does anyone know if you can use a coupon good for a free item when it is on sale bogo? I have my 2 fb q’s for free coffemate, and was wondering if I can use them this week and get 4 for free.
Sarah – Yes, the coupon policy does allow that. You might have a cashier that doesn’t know this however, and may not want to do it for you. If that happens call corporate. It’s just like the Right Guard we just had.

My store wouldnt let me use my $2/2 coupon for the mars on the .29 chocolate eggs
I picked up 4 of the Snickers eggs today for $.29/ea & the checker would not let me use the $1/2…I even pointed out that it clearly says “Snickers Eggs” and she wouldn’t let me use it. I figured it wasn’t worth fighting about. Annoying!!!
OK, so I tried to do some of these today, carefully counting to make sure I had no more coupons than I had products in my cart. I even decided to wait on the Gain, since I had a Wags and a manufacturer. (Though I’m reading that I can use one Wags and One manufacturer per item.) I was trying to use three separate RR coupons. At checkout, it wouldn’t take my RRs. The manager said that the $1/3 Mentos coupons counted as 3 items and 3 coupons, so that maxed me out on coupons. Is that right? This is so confusing!
i posted just above you about this. i just found out about this last night. it is really frustrating me. i was hoping it was just a 1 time misunderstanding :(. I also emailed wildforwags owner if that also means that the wag q’s that have a limit of how many times you can get the q price count for 3 if you the limit is 3 & you get all 3….don’t know if that made any sense. i just a little upset by these findings….it will make me stick to just publix even more if this stays. i may contact corporate about it. does anyone know if the deal is ex: 2/$1 w/q & you only want 1 do they divide the price in 1/2? Angela – it’s not going to change. I would not bother e-mailing corporate because it really has nothing to do with them. It’s how the manufacturer codes the coupon.
Just assume that if the q is for $1/2 it’s going to attach to (2) items. Just work under that assumption and you won’t have to worry. And each pencil will be $.13 each. You can just buy as many as you need. I sent this all in my e-mail response to you.
You said above that Wags coupons don’t count at all. I could JUST get the Gain with 1 manu Q and 1 Wags Q and not have a problem? But RRs do count? I’m so confused now. It was so easy when I just had to count my items and count my coupons and make sure I didn’t have too many Qs. Does this $1/3 apply to all manu Qs or just “agreements with some manufacturers.” I do like you suggestion of just having extra fillers. That’s easy when you have something like those pencils that are 8 cents. Not so easy if you can’t find something priced that low.
Barb – I suggest you read my FAQ HERE. RR are coupons, they do count, that’s why we use the fillers. For the Gain, you would need to give the MQ first, then the Wags Q. However you will go below $0 and need something else in your order to absorb the overage. (Like a pencil).
Barb – if you have a coupon that is $1/3 or $1/2 then most of the time it’s going to attach to all the items. To make your life easy, whenever you have a coupon for $1/2 or $1/3 or whatever, just factor in it attaching to all of those items.
Just buy an additional filler (like the $.13 pencils this week) and you’ll be able to use a RR.

I have a question about the edge shaving cream that is on sale this week for 2/$4. How many times can you get an RR for this deal. I know it is per transaction but I ordered a bunch of the $.55 coupons to stock up on and I just wanted to know if Walgreens computer system can track if you use a credit or debit card to pay how many times you are getting the same deal. I also know that you can’t use the RR you got from one deal on the same deal but I just need to know if I can go to mulitple stores and get the deal and it will still spit out the RR. Thanks to whoever can help me with this.
I have done the same RR deal multiple times in the same store with a credit card (especially if I know a catalina will pop out), and I haven’t had a problem yet.
You can go to different stores and get the deal or maybe go to the same store on different days.
No, you should be OK. I use 1 debit card to pay for all of my out of pocket (OOP) at CVS and WAGS (to track my OOP amount). I used to do 2-3 transactions on Sunday and never had problem with RR not printed. Recently, my store only allow 1 transaction a day except Saturday to prevent people clear out the shelves. I actually like that policy since now I don’t have to rush to the store in Sunday to get some sales before they are gone. Last Saturday, I went and still got everything I planed and most of sales items still are plenty on the shelves…
i did the travel size deal tonight…i had a total of $10.89 before coupons…my RR did not print…they said its because i used coupons…they said it had to be a total of $10.00 after coupons…i told them i would not have purchased the items…the manager said “you didn’t need the items you purchased?” i said no i didn’t..she said you are really losing out by purchasing stuff you don’t need… she said i can give you a refund…i said ok, only if i can get my coupons back…she said no you can’t get them back…so, what do you think about this situation?
Call Catalina Marketing for your Register Reward and call Walgreens corporate about your crazy manager! All they had to do was void the transaction give you back your money and your coupons, the end! What a meanie!

I got the same problem at one time when I used more than 4 of like P&G coupons in one transaction. That time, the manager said I used too much coupons. I did not believe him but he proved to me by ringing everything up with only 2 same coupons and the RR did printed. So, for example, if you used (5) $1 Secret and (5) $1 Old Spice coupons…that may cause RR not print. Anyway, that store manager is still so wrong about not give you back your coupon or rude to you that way. Honestly, I love the wags sales but always dislike wags way of customer service toward couponer.
My Walgreens in Orlando, FL would not accept the $2/2 Mars coupon for the Snickers Creme Eggs, even though it’s a legitimate manufacturer’s coupon. The cashier wouldn’t run it. I ended up having to call corporate and get a manager. They still wouldn’t give me the $2 off, they adjusted the coupon down so I just got the Snickers Creme Eggs for free.
Just a warning for anyone out there trying this scenerio. YMMV! I still have 2 Q’s left – going to another Wags to try again, this time for some bunnies.
I’m not sure what prompted it, but I got an awesome $5/1 Pediasure Catalina Q yesterday. I bought 2 Folgers, 1 Always Pantiliners, 2 Coffee Mate, 6 Snickers Eggs, 1 Lady Speed Stick, 1 colgate toothbrush and 1 toothpaste. Hopefully someone else gets it too! I’d love to know what prompted it because my kids love this stuff, but it is very expensive 🙁
