Hey Christie–I also saw a $10 Q for the Bayer Contour USB in the Diabetes and You mag, along with the one you posted for the Didget system. I figured the $10 Q’s for each would be a lot easier to get them to adjust then the higher value ones. Also, my store had tear pads with Q’s for FREE Bayer Contour USB models, regardless of price (up to $74.99). I was hoping to get one of each model plus some Hallmark cards to put me over the $25 mark to get Super Jingle with almost no OOP, but I will be bummed if the $25 minimum has to be after Q’s now. Ugh.

Dulcolax balance has been $7.99. I need the product for my childs, so I have been using the $8/1. Most clerks give me a hard way to go when I use that cpn. Also, They won’t let you use the walgreens cpn with it since the manufacture cpn makes it free. I have tried at the different store with the same results. Not a MONEYMAKER but the product is free.

Christie December 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm

Sherry – You need to use the $2/1 in the December coupon booklet after the MQ to get the money maker, not the $8/1 coupon alone, hope that helps. Sorry your stores are being difficult.

Hi Christie,
I’m pretty new to this still, and I’ve looked through your FAQ page, but I’m confused about RR’s. If I buy 2 Hallmark cards & 1 Goody hair accessory tomorrow, will two RR’s print or do I have to do two transactions? I’m trying to get my transactions planned so I can use my Super Jingle Cash.

Thank you so much for all of your updates & matching. It is so helpful! I never would have thought Walgreen’s has great deals!

Christie December 11, 2010 at 2:09 pm

Hi Allison, if you buy both you should get both the $2 for Hallmark and the $2 for Goody. What you wouldn’t want to do is buy 2 goody in one transaction, because you would only get one. Hope that helped!

Thank you! That helps. 🙂

I got the tissue paper today with no problem. Seems that it was in the Sunday ad only – not the midweek one that is on the shelf. If you ask at the checkout and you have a saavy checker, you get the tissue for the cheap price!

grace December 11, 2010 at 6:52 pm

Lou, did you get the 5RR print today when you bought the tissue paper?

Reply

sherry December 11, 2010 at 7:49 pm

Thanks all. I guess in my area, which is southeast Missouri and northern Arkansas, they wont let us use the cpn in the Walgreen book because the manufacture cpn covers the cost, and they adjust down the manufacture cpn to the price. Have fun you guys with your moneymaker. 🙂

Grace, Lou might be talking about the Charmin Bathroom Tissue.

I went today and spent over $30 before coupons and after coupons it was $21. No Super Jingles Cash for me did it print! No I am not surprised!

If i use super jingle cash coupon over $25 tomorrow. Will super jingle cash coupon be printed?

Reply

Niki December 11, 2010 at 10:22 pm

I did my first jingle cash/register rewards thing last week. I have never used them before. What is the best way to use it? I have $35 and I really can’t afford to screw this up. Do they work like cash?

I shopped at Walgreens today (12/11) and had a bunch of coupons for candy and cough drops. My cashier insisted I had to total $25 after coupons to get the Jingle cash so I bought a little more candy than I had planned (won’t go to waste!)

Reply

Stefanie December 12, 2010 at 1:28 am

I shopped today (12/11) in North Houston and bought Mars M&M Holiday Candy’s. The sticker said $3.50, but they rang up 2.50 each. If you buy 4, you get a $5 RR. I also used the $2/3 coupon from last weeks Sun. paper. so my total was $3 for 4 bags of candy after RR.
Then, I purchased Splenda with Fiber $2.99. -$2 insert 11-7 RP
Cost oop = .99
And 2 packs of the Walgreens diapers $8.99. -bogo weekly sale
and the -$1 IP. Cost = $6.99 per 2.
Even though I had over $25 worth of items, no Jingle Cash was printed, because the cashier said it had to be $25 after coupon total. Even though that’s NOT what the website says!
Oh well, still good deals.

I don’t see the printable Ace coupon

Reply

Frauke December 12, 2010 at 7:48 am

I did my shopping yesterday and had two seperate transactions that were over $25 before coupons but below afterwards and I did not receive the Jingle Cash in either.
I guess I also missed the gift wrap and tissue paper RR’s as they didn’t print when I bought those either.
Still got some good deal, but of course would’ve been better if all of it had worked like I had planned.

Just came from walgreens in allen tx. Bought the goody hairties and got 2rr and used it to buy the 3/$2hallmark money holders and it printed the 2rr! Just kept switching the cards and hairties n only paid a couple pennies total 🙂

This morning, I bought 4 cans of Progresso soup and 2 packages of Bic disposable razors. I had the $1 off four for the soup and (2) $2 off for the razors. Walgreens would not honor the second $2 Q for the razors. What are your thoughts on that?

i just want to let u guys know that i went to walgreen on last tuesday and spent $26 before coupon, After coupon, it was $18 and i still got super jingle cash. Today, i went there and spent $29 before coupon, After coupon, it was $11 and NO super jingle cash for me T_T I guess they changed something about super jingle cash, gift warp and tissue papers on yesterday. btw today, cashier told me that ” we pay u to shop here” lol

Bic Deal. B1G1 + (2) $2 off coupons did not work. The cashier, who I have buddied up with manually entered it the first time. But when I went in to do the deal a second time, it wouldn’t let him.

Policy says at Walgreens.com:
Buy One, Get One Free Coupons
When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.
Sales tax must be paid for any Buy One, Get One Free coupon offers, if required by applicable state laws.

Thoughts?

Reply

Christie December 13, 2010 at 11:24 am

Bic didn’t work because it needs to be either price modified up or the coupon amount lowered by a penny. Since the total is $3.99 and the coupons are for $4. So in this case it’s not the B1G1 that caused the problem it was that penny. You could also throw in a 3rd one and then have them take it off at the end of your order after you’ve given the coupons, and it would solve the dilemma over the penny. Might be less hassle! 🙂

Are the BIC razors and Goody hair products advertised anywhere? I can’t find them in our sales paper and my closest store didn’t have them advertised with the products. I couldn’t find the Goody hair products that were $2 either, the lowest I found was $3.49.

Reply

Maria December 13, 2010 at 7:23 pm

Tyffany, the Goody products are on page 24 of the weekly ad. It is for the 17 count hair elastics and some of the clips. I think their regular prices are about 2.99. The Bic razors are on pg 26. Buy 1 @ 3.99 get 1 free. HTH.

tyffany December 13, 2010 at 8:30 pm

Thanks Maria. We don’t have the ads that are that long, we’re luck to get it more than 10 pages. I wonder if everyone can do these deals (if they ring up for everyone) eventhough its not in their sales ad. Btw, my zip code is 19956 if you look on the site.

tyffany December 13, 2010 at 8:43 pm

Ok, so I looked at the ad for the Walgreens that’s 30 mins from my mom’s house, in a different state, 21601 and the full ad is listed, wth.

Last week I bought 6 Hallmark cards ($0.99 each) and received $5 RR. This week I did the same transaction and did not receive any RR for Hallmark. I talked to the manager and she didn’t know why and the regional manager who happened to be there said that you only get the RR with Holiday cards. ?!

Did this happen to anyone else this week? I plan on calling the Catalina # and asking them.

Can someone -please and thank you- help me wrap my brain around the Olay deal? I want to get the moisturizer that is $17.99. There is $4.00 off a $20.00 purchase, plus the $3.00 manf. coupons, plus the jingle cash (if this will work with the $4.00 back), plus the $20.00 rebate for a $50.00. I guess I need to do two transactions maybe. Has anyone looked into this? I am new at it all. Any help is appreciated.
