Walgreens Shopping Scenario 2/10

by Christie Bisbee on February 9, 2013

Here’s my Walgreens Shopping Scenario for the week of 2/10. In this scenario you’ll get $29.50 in merchandise, you’ll pay $9 out of pocket (or less if you use a Register Reward from last week to pay and add a filler) and end up with $4 in Register Rewards.

So it’s like getting everything for $5 or 83% OFF or 36¢ per item!! 🙂

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THESE TRANSACTIONS
-) You can’t have more MQ than items! Blue = MQ
-) You don’t have to do these in one day, just pick up where you left off.
-) I always bring some extra fillers with me to the register, in case of an emergency!

Same here. the Chloraseptic coupon in the Walgreen’s coupon book would not scan. BUT, the cashier read the coupon, looked at the spray, and put the coupon through.

Then manager will need to modify to make the walgreens coupon work.

T#1
(1)Cholarseptic-$3.99
(2)Mitchum-2/$6
(1)russell stover-.39
Paid $5.88, earned $7 RR

T#2
1-Listerine-$3.99
1-almay mascara-$6.99
2-RS=2/$1
Paid $1.74, earned $4rr

T#3
Duracell-$3.49
Listerine-$3.99
Paid $1.77, earned $2rr

T#4
2-Welch’s Essentials-2/$4
Paid $1.33

Paid $9.67, still have $2 RR left, spent more out of pocket T#1. For me that’s not bad considering without coupons and RR, it would’ve been $32.62 and that’s not including the high tax we pay here on goods

the cashier adjusted the price on the spray for me to 1.99. I didn’t even realize the coupon didn’t work until I got in my car and saw where he had adjusted it. that was fine with me though
