Walgreens Shopping Scenario: 10/14

by Christie Bisbee on October 13, 2012

Here’s my Walgreens Shopping Scenario for 10/14. In this scenario you’ll get $34.15 in merchandise, you’ll pay $11.15 out of pocket and end up with $1 in points and a $6 Mail In Rebate for Advil congestion. So it’s like you are getting everything for as low as $4.15 after coupons, Register Rewards, rebates and points. Talk about some serious stacking! 🙂

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THESE TRANSACTIONS
-) You can’t have more MQ than items! Blue = MQ
-) You don’t have to do these in one day, just pick up where you left off.
-) I always bring some extra fillers with me to the register, in case of an emergency!

There is a $1/1 Robitussin coupon in their new Cold and Flu booklet making the deal a money maker.

that coupon is actually a manufacturer coupon so unfortunately it can’t be stacked.

What do you do if you don’t get all the points for a purchase? For example you only get 2500 instead of 5000

if you know for sure you bought the right stuff and amount you can call balance rewards customer service. Sorry i don’t have the number but you should be able to find it on the walgreens website.

I have talked to the manager at the store right away & they have a paper in the office that they scan a few times and then each time they scan it after that it adds 500 points to your card. I have had this happen repeatedly and they have been very good about putting them on for me.

I’ve had that happen a couple times too …they only have to scan the paper once though and then just put in a quantity. For instance, if you were shorted 2500 points they would scan the 500 points bar code then put in “5” as the quantity to equal the 2500.
