*HOT* Nature Made Money Makers!

by Christie- on November 12, 2013

NatureMade D B1 B12l4wI found most of the Nature Made vitamins tagged for the points at my store. Buy one and get the second bottle for $3 and buy 2 and get $3 (3,000 Balance Reward Points). Please note you cannot mix, you have to match the bottles in order for them to ring up correctly. You’ll need the coupons from the new Diabetes & You Holiday 2013/Winter 2014 issue. If you can’t find the magazine, ask your pharmacist. They may have not unpacked it yet!

You can use a $5 and a $3 coupon for the Vitamin D 400 iu. Vitamin B-12 Sublingual (1000 mcg, 50 ct Micro-lozenges) and Vitamin B-1 (100 mg, 100 ct) are priced at 2/$9.99, so you should use two $5 coupons. The totals for these will be over the coupon amounts. My store prefers to modify the prices, so both coupons scan, but others stores modify the coupon amounts.

Are the balance rewards points limited? For instance, if you buy 4 vitamins will you get 6,000 reward points since if you buy 2 you will get 3,000 reward points?

Christie November 12, 2013 at 1:29 pm

Yes if you buy (4) you’ll get 6,000 points.

So i bought the b12 wanted to use two 5 dollar coupons and they did not want to accept them.i said they can either modify the price or the coupon, manager told me that that is coupon fraud and he needs to report that (if he modifies the price)

Since the complete Diabetes & You book is viewable online, can you print from the site and use the printed $5.00 coupon in the store?

I was able to get some magazines but the shelves were empty for the lower priced vitamins. Do you know if we can get rain checks on the prices and points?

Did you have them scan the items with your card?

I was able to score a book with coupons in it and so I grabbed my vitamins and headed to the checkout….cashier clueless and had to call manager. Manager kept saying this type of coupon “stack” wasn’t allowed. First of all know the lingo lady…this is not a “stack” then she said the only way to use the coupons would be in separate transactions…I’m like no actually you just need to adjust the price on the coupon. She said she had gotten an email from corp that morning reminding them of the coupon policies. I held my ground and FINALLY she was like oh I see what your saying….

Glad to know that couponers are actually more knowledgeable about policies than managers….

Can someone state the specific policy regarding if a product is less than the full coupon amount?

Reply

Shelly November 13, 2013 at 3:39 pm

It is on their website, it states:

In the event that any item’s selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Walgreens will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons.

I was told “no” to the Vitamin D sale trying to use (2) 3.00 and (2) 5.00 qs on 4 bottles. The manager stated the q’s exceeded the price of the item. Yet, if I were to buy one more bottle; I could have used the 5.00 q (which didn’t make sense to me). The manager said if I bought five bottles I could use (2) 3.00 and (2) 5.00; but the sale price would not have kicked in. She would not adjust anything.

I know this is old and a longshot but I’m wondering if anyone has a pdf they can send me at [email protected]. I am in need of some of the more expensive vitamins like CoQ10 and astaxanthin to manage a chronic medical condition and I am hoping to combine it with Jingle Cash to reduce some of my monthly OOP. Thanks in advance!
