I’m confused… How can you use (3) B2G1 coupons? Wouldn’t you have to buy 9 body washes?

How is it that you only buy 6 and use 3 coupons to get this deal? Wouldn’t the coupons mean that the third Dial would be your free one, and then you only have the fourth and fifth ones to use with the second coupon and get the sixth one free? I’m thinking you would buy six, then use two coupons, or else buy eight and use three coupons…

Maybe I just don’t understand it well enough…

Your right Jennifer you can only use 2 of the MQ, her math is right though

I did this deal today and I used 1 coupon and got 4 bottles for the price of 1.

It’s only supposed to be 2 q’s not 3.

the sale is buy 1 get 1, this is a total of 2 purchased. therefore you can now use the MQ to get the 3rd one free, when you get the 3rd one free, it allows you another free one because now with the MQ being a purchase of 1(free one) you may get another one free. its the same as using a buy1 get1 sale with a buy1 get1 MQ (you would then get 2 items free.)

Better getting 6 bottles for the price of one

I did this deal today and they only gave me $4.49 off instead of the full $5.99. Not sure if this is just Walgreens doing this with these BOGO coupons or if this would happen at other stores. The coupon didn’t state a maximum value.

same thing happened to me but they adjusted it.

Same with my coupons but my cashier wouldn’t adjust. I think I am returning all 6 cause it’s not as good a deal when the coupons don’t make 2 of them free 🙁

Same here with the $4.49 and they would not adjust. Makes them $1.50 a bottle which isnt so hot 🙁

Same with me and ours was $5.79 each and I bought 6 and could only use 1 coupon.

I always get confused on how a B1G1 or B2G1 works with a store’s B1G1. Would someone please dumb it down for me and explain which of the product(s) is the actual purchase, which one is the “couponed”, and which is the free?

For example:
#1 – pay full price of $5.49
#2 – free (per Wags B1G1)
#3 – free (per MQ B2G1) — um, I’m guessing that #1 and #2 would be considered as the 2 that were bought?
#4 – ??
#5 – ??
#6 – ??

Ummm see where I’m lost? hehehe I’d be ETERNALLY grateful for the explanation =) Thank you in advance!

and also if you could tell me what the bottom line is? [It looks like in the above scenario it’s 6 for the price of 1 (using reverse calculation, I’m guessing that it’s $0.91 x 6 = $5.46), but I’m lost as to why it’s showing the total as $16.47.]

Buy 6 with the b1 get 1 will automatically make 3 free use 2x coupons makes 2 more free so u end up wit 5 free n pay for one

if you buy 3 and use one coupon, wouldn’t you still get two free? one from the store sale and one from the coupon? it looks like they would take off the price of two.

Is there a place that states you can do this. I looked on walgreens.com coupon policy and it doesnt say anything. I know that my store will have a hayday with this.

My Wags did the same. In fact, she told me I needed to get more bottles to cover the coupons bc technically I wasn’t paying for 2 to get the 3rd free. I made her scan the coupon && it took $4.49 off. Mine were $5.49. Made them a $1.35 each with tax. Still a decent deal esp with the overage on the reach. I called corporate && asked she be educated on coupons & customer service 🙂

It’s work for me. Buy six 8 packs. use two MQ they didn’t scan so they enter the MQ manually for $6.79 (the price here). I’m very happy pay only one pack and get five free!

Think about it this way. Wags has a B1G1 sale. So, if you wanted 6 bottles, 3 would be free because of the Wags sale, right? Right. Now, if you didn’t have any MFQs, you would have to pay for 3. However, you can use 2 B2G1 Free MFQs, if you have them, because you have 6 bottles, and that would give you 2 for free. 3 FREE because of the Walgreen’s sale and 2 FREE because of the MFQs leaving you to pay for 1 of the 6, getting 5 free.

Could you use the $2.00 off 2 Dial with this deal and pay $3.49?

Does anyone knows how do we contact the corporate or who ever we can ask about the problem? It sucks they only took 4.49 walgreens manager said they can’t overoverride the mfg coupon. Did not even say in there policy.

I contacted corporate about it and they opened a ticket. I called back to the store, spoke to the Assistant Manager, and he went ahead and gave me a refund of $3.24 ($3+tax) If your store doesn’t want to work with you, I would definitely call corporate to see if they can get them to do something otherwise I would return them. $1.50 is not much of a bargain.

I tried doing this at Walgreens yesterday and apparently they said I can’t do that. Then they told me that it depends on the store manager…. Which he wasn’t there so I just voided my transaction n figured i’d try another Walgreens n see if it works. It’s a really good deal if you could get it to go through :/
