How did you get 5 prints? Is it one per computer, or can you get two?

Reply

Christie March 25, 2013 at 10:58 am

Two per computer and e-mail address.

Reply

Lindsay March 25, 2013 at 1:12 pm

It only let me print one per email…

Reply

JGM March 25, 2013 at 3:50 pm

Christie, Can you tell me when you print two coupons per email is the digits below the QR code different or the same? Thanks

Reply

Lynda March 25, 2013 at 5:08 pm

Im not Christie, but the digits are different. After you print one coupon, go to the site again, enter your info and then print again. The digits will be different.

Dana March 25, 2013 at 2:43 pm

Mine popped up as a Word-type print where I could choose as many prints as I wanted. I printed 10 (5 for me and 5 for my daughter). Then I had a paper jam and ended up with only 8. So, I went back in and it wouldn’t let me print any more under my email so I entered my daughter’s email and printed the remaining 2.
It ended up being an even better deal than I originally thought. See post below for details.

Amanda March 25, 2013 at 7:49 pm

Please note the PIN on each coupon should be different. Although it pops up the box to enter how many prints you would like, this coupon is not an unlimited print type of coupon. Each print will have a different pin, but if you select to print more than 1 at a time, you are essentially using a copied coupon because the pin on each will be the same. Only 2 prints per computer per email address. Treat it the same way you would a Smart Source printed coupon.

So if you bought 3 cottonelle wipes at $2 each and used 3 coupons $1 off and you get back $3 in RR would these be free?

Reply

melissa March 25, 2013 at 11:09 am

Yea only diff is u don’t get points

Reply

Drew March 25, 2013 at 11:24 am

That’s exactly what I was thinking!

Reply

Gina March 25, 2013 at 11:11 am

I saw the Cottonelle Wipe $2 deal and the 3000 points deal in last week’s ad. Does this still work for this week?

Reply

Jolee March 25, 2013 at 11:12 am

Will this work if i just buy 3 of the toliet papers? I dont need/use the wet wipe ones… Thanks 🙂

Reply

Christie March 25, 2013 at 11:42 am

Yes you can do this…

Buy (3) Cottonelle $5
Total = $15
Use (3) $1/1 coupons
= $12, Get Back $3 RR & $3 in points
= $6 or $2 each! 🙂

Reply

Ger March 25, 2013 at 1:11 pm

Christie~
If my total is $15 and I use a $7 RR, would it affect the threshold of having to buy $15+ to get the 3,000 pts?

Reply

Ashley March 25, 2013 at 2:08 pm

No, a RR is considered manufacturer’s coupon – not a Wags coupon. You’re okay! 🙂 Just make sure you have a filler since you’d technically have 4 coupons and 3 items (3 – $1 coupons, and then the $7 RR)

Reply

Alexi March 25, 2013 at 2:32 pm

Hey Ger! YES! You can use your $7RR… that’s exactly what I just did this morning. I got my Tricalm transactions done then used one of those $7RR along with my $1/1 MQ and still got my 3,000 points . If you have a MQ for every item, you’ll have to find a filler to use your RR. I bought my boys some Easter stickers.

Reply

sandy March 25, 2013 at 11:25 am

I just did the deal with a 5 off 20.00 walgreens balance rewards coupon. I also used register rewards to pay for other items along with this and I did not get my 3,000 pts. I was told because of the 5 off 20.00 reduced my Cottonelle purchase to about 12.00. So heads up if you use this 5 off 20.00 coupon with Cottonelle deal.

Reply

grace March 25, 2013 at 12:10 pm

yes, that is what they told me last week, because I used my 2 off 10 coupon, it reduces my total to $13!!!

Reply

Kat March 25, 2013 at 6:11 pm

Kinda the same deal happened to me. I got 3 of the cottonelle 12 packs, some tuna and brut and used the 2$/2$ purchase of anything in store and that took my total for the cottonelle to $14.64 so I didn’t get the points! So be careful if you are using that coupon as well!

Reply

Lindsay March 26, 2013 at 11:16 am

I bought $16 worth of Cottonelle and one Tricalm and my total was $23. I used my $5 off $20 purchase coupon, but didn’t get my points for the cottonelle. My total was still over $18, so why didn’t I get my points? I don’t see the $5 off $20 coupon attaching to the Cottonelle only so how do they figure that? My store’s manager is super nice to couponer so I’m going to ask her if she can give me the points anyway. Worth a shot.

Reply

mel March 26, 2013 at 4:12 pm

Apparently the $/$$ Store Coupon will prorate each item just a bit, so that’s why your Cottonelle wasn’t $15 to get the points. I think its sneaky, b/c the $5 comes off as a lump discount on the receipt, yet when you look at your transaction online, each item is prorated due to the $5 off.
Worth a shot to have the manager force print if she can for ya!

Reply

stephanie March 27, 2013 at 12:20 am

you cannot use points and get points back you must role with a rr or something

Reply

stephanie March 27, 2013 at 12:21 am

you cannot use points to pay and then get points back. you must role with a RR etc.

Reply

Ashley March 25, 2013 at 2:09 pm

Yep!

Reply

Dana March 25, 2013 at 2:57 pm

Yes, it does. Just got back from the store. However, I just noticed I received 6000 pts. (which is more than I was expecting) but didn’t get the two $3 RR’s. Did get the .75 Q which cashier applied to the sale right then and there! Had a wonderful cashier (Jim @ Aurora, IL).

Reply

sharell March 25, 2013 at 12:21 pm

I just did this, did not have a single problem. It printed both the 3RR, 2RR and I got my 3000 points and .75 off wipes coupon.

Reply

Dana March 25, 2013 at 3:05 pm

My store had the shelf completely stocked but once we did the 2 trans., there wasn’t much left. We did have to ask them to get more wipes from the back room.

Reply

Jane March 25, 2013 at 3:46 pm

Not sure – but my Walgreens is already sold out:( So sad. Glad I am stocked up already! Thanks for all the deals!

Yeah same thing happened to me last week Sandy. I bought 1 similac advance $24.99 and pampers wipes (216 ct.) $5.99 and used 1 $0.50 MQ for wipes and $2/10 WBRC. I was expecting 3,000 points but got only 280. they told me since $2 Q reduced the value below $30, i dint get. i rerang without it and got 3,300 points.

Reply

andrea March 25, 2013 at 12:57 pm

when did this deal start?? I bought three cottonelle on Friday, used 3 $1/1 MQs and got my points, but didn’t get register rewards…. ?? I love stocking up on TP though, so I will try this deal again before it expires. Thanks for the heads up!!

Reply

Christie March 25, 2013 at 1:26 pm

It started today! 🙂

Reply

Dana March 25, 2013 at 3:11 pm

Started today? Where’s it printed? I bought 5 wipes and 5 Ultra T.P. R’cd. 6000 pts., .75 Q but no RR. Mgr. says if I can’t find where the deal is printed, she won’t issue the RR!

Reply

Dana March 25, 2013 at 3:42 pm

Just got off the phone with C.S. and figured out the RR problem. She thinks I didn’t get the RR because I paid with RR from the same product. Is this what rolling/not rolling is?

Reply

Alejandra March 26, 2013 at 5:08 pm

Yes thats what not rolling is. Sometimes it rolls sometimes it doesnt. This one Doesnt.

Reply

Tanya March 25, 2013 at 1:47 pm

Just did it in WI and worked like a charm. Bought 3 purple packs, used 3 $1 off coupons and got the $3 RR and 3,000 points 🙂

Reply

Dana March 25, 2013 at 4:45 pm

Yes, I did. I got the .75 Q and the points but no RR. Thankfully, my Wag’s is willing to rering the trans. for me tomorrow. Live and learn!

Reply

Did anyone try to roll it yet? If so did it work.

Reply

Emily March 25, 2013 at 1:54 pm

Anybody know where this coupon came from? I just want to make sure it’s legitimate. The page seems a little sketchy and Cottonelle is misspelled at the top.

Reply

Ger March 25, 2013 at 2:07 pm

Can you use a RR, making total below $15+, and still get back the 3,000 pts?

Reply

Sarah March 25, 2013 at 2:28 pm

Thanks so much for posting this deal – worked great!!!

Reply

Alexi March 25, 2013 at 2:38 pm

Thank you SO MUCH Christie for confirming this deal. I knew there was a possibility of it since last week but didn’t want to load the kids in the truck on a possibility. Also, my local Wags was a bust yesterday on the Tricalm. I went to a different Wags today to do the Cottonelle deal and hit the Tricalm mother load lol. (don’t worry, I’m not a shelf clearer… there was plenty more for others!)

Reply

Olivia March 25, 2013 at 2:43 pm

When does this deal end?

Reply

Katherine March 25, 2013 at 2:47 pm

Will this work with the Cottonelle Wipes Refills 84 ct $3.00 on sale? At least I think that is what they were. TYIA

Reply

Lynn March 25, 2013 at 3:14 pm

I was able to print 10 of these from the same printer at the same time!! I don’t how that happened but it did!! When I clicked “print now” my printer window popped up and I made the quantity 10 just to see if it would work and IT DID!! That is a total fluke because that NEVER happens for me!!

Reply

Lynda March 25, 2013 at 4:24 pm

Check the security numbers at the top; they will probably all the same. This happens when you change the quantity from one to something else. The numbers should all be different. Just sayin’ 🙂

Reply

Angie March 25, 2013 at 5:09 pm

That is illegal. They all have the same PIN number

Reply

Christie March 25, 2013 at 7:17 pm

When you print 2 they have different numbers. Just print one and use your back browser to get the 2nd print so it has a different #.

Reply

Mel March 25, 2013 at 6:10 pm

I would check the codes on the coupons to see if they are all the same. If they are then you have 10 copies of 1 coupon and cannot use them. Maybe that’s not the case, but I wouldn’t want you to get in trouble for using them if they are the same!

Reply

Mort March 26, 2013 at 12:14 am

double check the numbers thoses coupons. If they are all the same you can’t use them. Trust me I know!! One of my accounts got suspended when I first started couponing because of that. I printed 5 from the same computer but I did them one at a time.. and they all have different numbers so try it that way.

Reply

michael March 25, 2013 at 3:15 pm

I did the above deal and did not get my points. I did use the $5 off $20 coupon. The manager put the points on my card for me.

Reply

Dana March 25, 2013 at 3:16 pm

So, I did 2 separate trans. & didn’t get the RR on the 2nd. I’m working with the mgr. now. Once I get that straightened out, I’ll have paid only .14 for each of 20 items. My cashier used both of the .75 Q on trans. #2 Plus, got 6000 pts. instead of the orig. 3000 pts.

Reply

Brooke March 25, 2013 at 3:22 pm

worked great!

Reply

Victoria March 25, 2013 at 3:31 pm

I was only allowed to use 3 of the Cottonelle coupons. The manager at my Walgreens in Austin, TX said they started a policy of limiting customers to using 3 identical coupons per day because manufacturers were not reimbursing the store for all the coupons. It seems like every few months there is some new restriction to put up with. Has anyone else run into this new policy?

Reply

Sarah March 26, 2013 at 10:53 am

Hey Victoria,

I too live in Austin, TX. I went to the Walgreens off I-35 & Cameron Rd, in the Capital Plaza (near the Mueller Development) and I was able to use 5 identical coupons with no issues. Just wanted to let you know just in case you where you looking for a new Walgreens to shop at 🙂

In El Paso Tx the catalina prints depend on the store, or it may be just me but in a past deal I went to one store and did not giveme the RR I decided to try it an a different location and I got my RR. The cashier said all the stores should be the same if its in the same city. who knows 🙂

Reply

chris March 25, 2013 at 9:07 pm

No go. Was able to use 1 coupon. The cashier argued with me that 1 coupon per purchase. I thought the verbage would allow it unless it said per transaction.
3 products purchased=3 coupons used. Sometimes I just don’t have the energy to argue.

No RR here in WA for the exact same purchase with no other RRs used or anything different. Did get 3000 points but would have loved the RRs too. Cashier told me it was because I used ANY coupons that now RRs wont print if coupons are also used.

Reply

Kamaya March 26, 2013 at 1:31 am

Which part of WA are you located? I’ve never had this happen to me before. I’m in Vancouver. I used coupons on Saturday for the Tri-calm deal and I received my 7 RR. I’m going to try the deal later this week.

Reply

Laura March 25, 2013 at 10:09 pm

woo hoo! The deal worked perfectly. I duplicated your deal almost exactly. I bought two tp and three wipes used 5 coupons- 1 per email address printed for me- (7 kids), and had hubby print off two at work so I have enough for a second run tommorrow. All the catalinas printed perfectly and I was able to use my $7 RR from last week!

Reply

cindy March 25, 2013 at 10:41 pm

if you print off each one individually they will give you different codes even for the same email…..I did this and each of the 7 I printed are different completely

Is Walgreens customer service good with handling issues with points not updating? I bought Two 12 pk toilet paper on 1st trans and used the $1 q’s and received the 2$ register rewards. Then trans 2 had 3 wipes with $1 off q’s and Recvd 3$ register reward but I didn’t get my 3000 Pts.

Reply

mel March 26, 2013 at 9:48 am

for spend deals, you have to buy the needed amount in one transaction. Walgreens doesn’t track like CVS.

Reply

elaine March 26, 2013 at 10:32 am

In order to get the points you need to get $15 worth of stuff in ONE transaction. That’s why you didnt get the points. And there’s nothing customer service can do for you. You could try and return them and buy them again in one single transaction.

Reply

cindy March 26, 2013 at 3:45 am

If you trythe link now, it now that you it will let you print 2 per email address entered

I’m not new to couponing at Walgreens, but I was surprised that you couldn’t use the 5/20, and then use Walgreens coupons on separate items within the transaction. Not sure if my individual coupons dropped the total below 20 and that is why, or you just cannot double dip. Anybody know?

Scored some amazing deals, including a seperate transaction with the Cottonelle products.

Thanks Christie for the awesome post!!! And all you do for us Waggers

Reply

Mel March 26, 2013 at 6:01 pm

My experience with $ off Walgreens coupons is that they generally count your total before taxes and after any Walgreens q. If the Walgreens q brought your total below $20 that’s probably why you couldn’t use it. Regular q shouldn’t affect the total though.

Reply

Yes – just call Walgreens corporate and ask for your points and tell them you used a gift card. They will give you your points. 🙂

Reply

Charlotte March 27, 2013 at 2:47 pm

When I had that issue a couple of months ago… used a gift card to pay for items and expected points but received no points… Walgreens customer service told me that the gift card is considered store credit and you don’t receive the points when you use store credit. I now only use a gift card for RR deals. Would love to hear others experiences with this same issue.

Question for those who have done this deal more than once: After your first Cottonelle purchase, did you have to go back to couponnetwork.com and click on the Cottonelle deal again? The reason I ask is because I added it yesterday, but when I went in to my account today, the YourBucks Offers box showed zero offers chosen.

Reply

Tiffany the Bargainista March 28, 2013 at 12:59 am

There were also Cottonelle coupons in the 03/17 Smartsource insert. There is a $0.50/1 coupon for Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes and a $0.50/2 coupon for Cottonelle Toilet Paper. The deal won’t be as good of course, but this should help for those who don’t have access to multiple computers or whose Walgreens tries to say you can’t use more than two of the same coupon. I’m hoping to use four of the $1/1 coupons and one of the $0.50/ Wipes coupons which would make my total $3.50 or $0.70 each after coupons and RR!

Yes, how long does this deal go on? I have been to 2 different Wags in my area twice and they have been out of the wipes. I am guessing that the sale went off yesterday? I know it says on here that the catalina keeps going until April 25th, I think….What about the sale price and points? Was that just for last week’s ad? Thanks! 🙂
