*HOT* Huggies Soft Skin Wipes Just $0.49

by Christie Bisbee on July 2, 2012

Here is a HOT deal on baby wipes for you! Right now at Walgreens the 56ct package of Huggies Soft Skin wipes are on sale for just $1.99. Pair that with the $1/1 coupon from the July Walgreens Coupon Book as well as a manufacturer coupon and you’ve got yourself a great stock up price on baby wipes!

Walgreens Deal
Buy (1) Huggies Soft Care Wipes 56ct $1.99
$0.50/1 Huggies Baby Wipes 56ct+, exp. 7/14/12 (SS 06/17/12)
AND use…
$1/1 Huggies Wipes Walgreens July Coupon Book
TOTAL = $.49 each!

Keep in mind that the Walgreens booklet says the coupon is for the 64ct packs but there are signs in the store advertising the coupon in the July book on the Soft Skin 56pk. PLUS these are the only ones that seem to work for the coupon, so my guess is it’s a typo!

(Thanks Angie! :))

I don’t have any mq coupons but 99 cents isn’t too bad of a deal either!

I did this yesterday and was so excited that they could offer a rain check for next time since it was a Wags coupon! The Rain check is for $.99 =)

I just got back from Walgreens with two wipes. The wags coupon went through without beeps.

Is there a limit in 1 transaction?

Reply

Maria July 5, 2012 at 2:19 am

Same here it was a no go

I asked for a raincheck and they told me they put a limit of 3. I asked for 7. I asked if they usually limit to that quantity and she said yes. I asked her then why are you able to place special orders on an almost weekly basis for couponers that use $10,000 in coupons (I was told by an employee that they do this for a man) when I instantly am only asking for 7. I plan to make a trip to a more friendly Walgreens.

I don’t know where “instantly” came from. Lol.

I went to the store and tried this, not only did it NOT work, there were tubs for the 64 ct that it DID work on. Called corporate, this ivc coupon is intended for the 64 count TUB ONLY! Bummer!

Christie July 3, 2012 at 12:00 am

Karen – did your store have the monthly signs up? Because if they did there should be a sign up for $1.99 – $1 in the IVC book.

Reply

Lisa July 3, 2012 at 12:05 am

i’m sure the person from corporate just said it’s what’s on the coupon (64 ct) and doesn’t know there are signs up in the store advertising it. they have no idea what signs or up or what coupons are working

Karen A July 4, 2012 at 2:19 am

I mentioned to the gal at Corporate it was being reported at some stores that there was a 1.99-$1 IVC, because I wanted to have the district manager call me to see if this could be fixed at our stores. She put me on hold and said she talked with head of the sales department and specifically said the IVC was not for the smaller packs- it was meant for the 64 Ct tub as shown in the book.

There were not any signs at our store that indicated the sale. We have 4 stores close by and all 4 managers also said it was for the tubs only- we have new machines now and not one of them would ring this up 🙁 Glad some are getting it though- wish we were here in El Paso!

Kinda late but I was able to do this deal in El Paso. It worked fine for me without beeps and they did have the signs up for the 56 count packs.

Thank you so much, I saw the sale on these on Sunday but I didn’t try the walgreens coupon because it said 64 count and up. I’m glad someone tried it though, because it’s a great deal! The one and done were also on sale for 1.99 and the coupon didn’t work bit the manager was nice enough to allow the clerk to enter the coupon manually since it worked on the soft skin one!

Ok, maybe it is old register vs. new register. If it worked or didn’t work for you please put if it was a new or old register. I have one of each I can go to and I want to choose the right one. TIA

Angie July 3, 2012 at 9:24 am

I used the new register

Reply

Kim July 3, 2012 at 4:47 pm

I tried with new register and it did NOT work. Bummer.

I did this deal at a Lee’s Summit Walgreens and it worked. There was a sign under these wipes that said 1.99 -.1.00 Walgreens coupon =.99. I just told the cashier the sign said there was a walgreens coupon and she scanned it and it went through fine. Not a hassle at all.

Kayla July 3, 2012 at 1:25 am

The walgreens coupon in the July savings book is for the 64 count box, not the 56 count package that is marked $1.99. and most Huggies manufacturer wipes coupons are for 64 count or larger. The $0.50 coupon I have now is for $0.50/1 package of huggies wipes 64 count or larger.

Mone July 3, 2012 at 4:52 am

That has been established already!

The MQ Huggies says 56 count or higher.

Reply

Nicky O. July 3, 2012 at 2:37 am

I got 2, but the cashier gave me a hard time at first. After I showed the manager and her where the sign said I could use this, they let me. I am willing to bet these booklets were printed or made up before Huggies switched their soft packs. They used to carry 64-72 wipes in each one, now they only carry 56.

Reply

Nicky O. July 3, 2012 at 2:39 am

Kayla, the manufacturer coupons I have are for 56+. Not sure if the amounts on the manufacturer coupons change by region. The sale sign posted where the wipes are located on the shelf indicate that you can use this coupon for the sale, like Christie mentioned, it was probably a typo. If anyone has a cashier or manager that argues with them, I would suggest showing them the sale sign.

Nicky O. July 3, 2012 at 2:42 am

Mine beeped, and they had the new registers in place. That is why the cashier initially told me I could not use them.

Reply

Emma July 3, 2012 at 4:30 pm

Yeah mine beeped too and when they read the coupon, it said it was only for the 64 count. Wouldn’t let me use it.

I went to my local Walgreens to pick up my Ivory Soap, and ran across this deal. Picked up 4 packs without any problems.

You should call corporate & let them know. They like to be in the know about what goes on in their stores

Just went to 2 Walgreens. Got 1 pack at each. One had old register. One had new register. Both worked fine on the pack shown on the picture. No beeps.

Yesterday I purchased 4 pkgs no problems. Today another 2 (because that is what was in stock). So I went to yet another store and tried to get my last 2 coupons and it was a no go! I am thinking that it is the type of wipes that I tried purchasing the last time. Even though it was the same brand and count on all three trips, I am thinking that the deal is only good on the 56 count “Soft Skin” Shea Butter, as opposed to the 56 count sensitive skin or fragrance free. Hope this is useful to anybody 🙂

Amy July 4, 2012 at 10:38 am

The soft packs at my store were 64 count but it still beeped….they let me get one…..

I tried to do the 56 pack of wipes and it didn’t work for me. Cashier told me I have to buy the 64 pack.

Reply

Alica July 6, 2012 at 1:42 pm

I just went and I took 1 64ct and 1 56ct to see which would work. To both the cashier and my surprise the 56ct was the only one that was valid. So, since I am expecting in January I went and grabbed 9 more. I wanted more but I am trying to use cash only when couponing so I stay within budget. If anyone has suggestions on that please help!!! Thanks!
