Where did she find the catalina to know to get $4 in RR?

Christie February 22, 2012 at 7:55 pm

It printed for her when she bought the deodorant today! I guess they want her to stock up. 🙂

You can also find out what Catalina deals there are and get coupons at their website http://www.couponnetwork.com. You are able to print off the coupons only or print off a list of the “your bucks” offers. This is handy to know what deals Catalina has going on. Remember areas are different so not all of them will always be in every area.

I looked there and I didnt see it. Is there a specific zip code and does anyone know when it expires?

When I go to couponnetwork.com it doesn’t let me put in a zip code anywhere so I’m just assuming it should be the same for anybody…
Lists it on page 3 for me.

Promo runs until 3/18.

WOO HOO!!! Thanks so much for keeping us informed of the deals—you’re THE BEST!!!

When you first told us about the printable, I didn’t bother printing it because I already have enough body wash. Even though .75 was a good price, I didn’t want to have to pay ANYTHING for it if I don’t need it. But after I know now that this is a MM, it’s a different matter…and I quickly printed my two coupons!

My printer only allowed me to print one of these coupons. Am I doing something wrong? Kindly respond. Thanks!

This may be off the topic, but just out of curiosity… how do you guys view the tax in these situations? Where I live the sales tax is just over 9%. So after tax and coupons my total will be $3.87. Still free since I will have paid less than the register reward, but not a huge moneymaker. Just curious your thoughts because this always stumps me when I see posts like this.

I’m not quite sure what you’re really asking… since sales tax differs per state (and some don’t have any at all), posts like this one can’t really take taxes into consideration.

Also, at 9%, you pay more sales tax than most – and even for you it’s still a MM. Not a big one, for sure, but hey you’re getting free merchandise – everything on top of that is a bonus in my mind.

Now I’m sure most of us think about our own personal situation and do consider taxes when evaluating a deal. Free isn’t really free when I have to pay tax on the item, so I’m generally happy when a MM comes along that covers the tax.

Just a few random thoughts.

I saw the catalina list for the Right Guard body wash on couponnetwork.com and I don’t see Walgreens on the list. Are you sure that a catalina/RR will print out at Walgreens?

Reply

FrugalBehind February 26, 2012 at 4:48 pm

It did list Walgreens for me and it did indeed print the cat today as well!

One can never be sure. It’s also not listed for me. With no flyer or catalina pre-notice as proof, I think I wouldn’t use any RR as payment. Then if the $4RR doesn’t print, it’s an easy return.

Good strategy!

I checked again and now Walgreens is not listed. I could have sworn it was the first time I came across it… Either way, my 2 transactions both produced the RR…

The reason I did this today… the body wash is on clearance for $2.29 at our store, probably all Walgreens as I read it’s marked down at Meijer as well.

Yes, in 2 weeks it’ll be an even better deal – provided there’s any stock left anywhere! I figured I’d better take advantage now – got 8 bottles and got paid 58 cents.

should i be concerned that walgreens is not on the list of participating retailers on couponnetwork.com?
