Updates From the Field 11/13: HOT Post Deal!

by Christie Bisbee on November 13, 2011

Here are some updates from my trip to hopefully make your trip a bit easier.

POST GREAT GRAINS CEREAL
There is an awesome deal on Post Great Grains Cereal! It’s included in the 2/$5 sale. Plus there is a Catalina deal for Post Cereals on top of that! You can see the Catalina deal HERE. This makes them only $.75 a box, that’s a stock up price! The printable is available now so grab it before it runs out of prints.

***DEAL IDEA***
Buy (4) Post Great Grains Cereal 2/$5
Total = $10
(4) -$1/1 Post Great Grains Cereal
Total = $6, Get Back $3 Register Reward
= $.75 EACH!

If you don’t see a sign have them do a price check for you. My store didn’t have signs up yet, so I had them scan (2) to check the prices. You can also mix this Register Reward deal up with other post cereals like Fruity Pebbles, Honey Comb, Shredded Wheat or Grape Nuts if you don’t want all Great Grains Cereal or you don’t find 4 at your store. You can use the -$1/2 Post coupons that came in the 11-06-11 SS.

ESTROVEN DEAL
No problems here! There was plenty of Estroven available at my store. My one suggestion is to check expiration dates. My cashier noticed that the one I grabbed actually was very close to the expiration date so make sure to check. I usually do check everything but I was in a bit of a rush today and forgot. I plan to keep that nice high value $10 Register Reward to use on the Black Friday sales! (And yes, I’m working on that now :-))

AZO DEAL
No problems here either! I had the printable from a while back for this. I think I printed it too small for the scanner to read so it had to be entered manually but once they did that I had no problems.

EMERALD NUTS
The Emerald Nuts deal should really read “Emerald Almonds” since none of the other nuts were ringing up on sale. I wanted cashews but oh well. I just grabbed the Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds, which somehow instantly made me feel better about cashews not being on sale. 🙂

Christy:

They honored the price for me since the cashews are pictured. Great deal!

They also did the same for me too! Yeah, just love them. I also used $1.00 off on each container and the total cost was only $4.00 for the two.

I scored a super sweet deal on Neutrogena nourishing eye quad for $.59. These are originally $10.99 marked on clearance for $5.59. I used the $2.00 q on any Neutrogena lip or eye product from the Walgreens *make this season stunning* book and a $3.00 q on any Neutrogena cosmetic from the *All You* magazine. Look for clearances on these and mascara at your store.

tried to print the Post cereal but wont print. It said something about my printer, I only have a basic printer, no fax. Anybody had this issue and was able to fix it? Thanks!

sometimes I can’t print, so I switch to the Firefox browser, and I can always print with that. Not sure why but it works for me.

Thanks for posting this!! I just went and purchased 4 Honey Bunches of Oats and received 3 RR. Thanks for the tip!! I didn’t use the Post coupons because they didn’t list this type (not sure if they would have worked anyway or not), but I had 2 RR to roll over – so still a great deal for me. Thanks again.

The Kotex pads are buy one get one 50% off and its giving out $2.00 RR. I tried it twice at two different stores and it printed 🙂 good deal!

Which pads did you buy? Did it print a $2 RR or a catalina?? Thanks!

Angie November 13, 2011 at 10:34 pm

2 Kotex Natural Balance Maxi Regular (24ct)
and used $2.00 off 2 coupon. They are buy one get one 50% off—and no, it wasn’t a catalina, it was a RR.
I also bought 2 Kotex Natural Balance Ultra Thin Regular (22ct), used the same coupon and got a $2.00 RR. I want to go back tomorrow and try the tampons and liners since I have a $1.50/2 coupon for those 🙂

Thanks so much for the heads up! I can’t wait to try this deal tomorrow! I hope it works on the tampons, too! I got that coupon as well!

No problem! I hope it gives an RR on the tampons too! 🙂

I did the same thing with the Kotex deal and the $2/2 coupon. Great deal with the unadvertised RR printing!!

Has anyone tries the kotex on the tampons yet?

Reply

Sarah November 16, 2011 at 8:13 am

Yes – I tried it last night on the tampons and it worked. I bought 2 boxes of the 18 count Kotex tampons on sale (b1g1 50% off) and it printed a $2 RR. So with the $1.50/2 mfg coupon, that comes out to $1.25 box. Awesome!

The catalina deals 4$ with purchase of 5. So it’s 3$ with 4 cereals?
And I was able to get only 1 coupon printed per computer-did anyone else have the same problem?

Same issue here.
Time to go print another one on my father’s computer, and try to get my school laptops to start printing too :/

@Veronica: No I didn’t…I’m going to try them tomorrow along with the tampons, I hope it gives them for those as well.

Hi, does anyone know if you can roll the AZO rewards to buy the Estroven or vice versa? The RRs say Azo and Estroven respectively, but they seem to have the same remit address, thus, same manufacturer/distributor/something. ?? Thanks!

Reply

Wendy November 14, 2011 at 12:31 am

Jared,
I was able to roll the AZO RR to buy Estroven and vice versa today.

me too, did it at 3 different stores. If you throw in the hair accessories, you can make $5. every time.

Hi Carmen,
Can you tell me what was in your transaction? I would like to do the same one. TIA!

I didn’t realize the other nuts wouldn’t ring up right for the Emerald sale and just now noticed I paid too much. I bought the salted almonds and a mixed one, plus gave them 2 $1 MF coupons. If I take my receipt and nuts back will they be able to fix this since my coupons were used yesterday?

There is a new $1.00/2 q available on any post grape nuts, shredded wheat, or raisan bran at coupons.com code 30303. It has the walmart logo on it but does not say redeem at walmart.
