FREE Carmex Healing Lotion at Walgreens!

by Christie Bisbee on October 31, 2011

If you got the $1/1 Carmex Healing Skin Care Coupon in your RedPlum insert, you can get FREE trial size Carmex Healing Lotion! The $1/1 coupon doesn’t exclude trial size and the Carmex trial size are $.99 at my store. If you didn’t get the coupon I did see some available on eBay HERE.

If you don’t see them in your regular trial size section look around the cosmetics counter. I have seen them in those fishbowls displays near the cosmetics counter at some stores.

***DEAL IDEA***
Buy (1) Carmex Healing Skin Care Lotion Trial size $.99
-$1/1 Carmex Healing Skin Care 10-30-11 RP
= FREE!

My local Wags doesntlet you use a coupon for more than the price of the item you are buying unless you buy a filler..so what’s the point?

Well your Wags isn’t following their own coupon policy. Many stores follow the corporate policy and customers at those stores would have no issues having a coupon adjusted.

Just had my wags adjust down coupons on Sunday- yours should have zero problems doing that. Time to talk with upper management and get them straight on it.

Next time you are in Wags try checking out @ the cosmetics counter (I go there almost exclusively). The gals that run it seem to be more on the ball with coupons then some of the cashiers @ main registers.

my walgreens would not take them the manager said no coupon adjustments

Here is their policy. Call corporate and let them know your store doesn’t follow policy and you’ll be taking your business elsewhere. 😉

The Wags closest to me gave me an issue with the coupons being for $1.00 but the product being for $.99. The manager wouldn’t adjust down and then told me I couldn’t use my IVCs (I was buying other stuff) because I didn’t present the booklet first.

I kindly asked for my coupons back, went to the Wags two minutes up the street, and got my stuff no problem at all.

Yay. But we don’t get our Red Plum’s until Tues or Wed with the grocery add. 🙁

I went this morning and had 2 $1/1 Q’s for the Carmex. They had just marked the trial sized Carmex lotions to .24. I bought 9 of them for .16 after Q’s. The coupons scanned without an issue.

cashiers like always wanted to give me an issue because they don’t know their own policy but told her if she didnt know how too just to get the manager now and she just made all the lotions 1.00 instead of .99 not the right way of doing it but I was not going to complain over a penny more on each( got 10). paid .70

Will the coupons scan fine if you’ve got something else that will cover the overage? I’ve never quite figured that out.

At some stores yes but not at Walgreens – (unless it’s a P&G coupon and then those tend to not beep – go figure).

At my store they increased the Carmex lotion to $1.00 then accepted the $1.00 off coupon…..so free anyway even though it’s not the proper way to do it…..they have 2 large fishbowls full of this size (Pittsburgh)

Where are you finding the lotion? I tried the travel size section but didn’t see it there.

I tried to get the carmex at my Walgreens but they said ” it’s coupon fraud to use a coupon on an item that is worth less than the amount of the coupon itself” . So I said sorry I was not trying t defraud anyone and took my coupon back.. 🙁

Oh goodness – that’s crazy! I guess they aren’t familiar with their own coupon policy. I’d contact corporate so maybe they can educate the staff at your store on their policy.

Thank you! My store adjusted down to 99 cents for me. Had 2 coupons, paid .16 cents for both.

i went to walgreens on 183rd and 7th ave in miami and the lady said they sent out a new email saying it has to match the picture and i cant use it because its under 1.00. even with a filler she said no. then i decided to get 3 and the 2 coupon was fine cause its the same product. but with the fillers it kept beeping.

My Walgreens in LaCrosse, Wisconsin would not adjust the coupon and wouldn’t even try. The cashier said she found out yesterday that they won’t accept a $1 coupon for a 99cent item. I wasn’t happy but I wasn’t going to fight it or ask for a manager for a small lotion bottle.
