Anyone know if this is the same rebate as the National Parks one (with the blue rebate)? I’ve done that one but didn’t know if I could do both.

Nope, it’s different! There are 3 rebates right now, the Discover Gas Card, National Parks and $10 ITunes GC. 🙂

My printed coupon says valid on “ultimate lithium” batteries. These are different from “advanced lithium” batteries…is there a different coupon that i’m not seeing?

Molly September 13, 2011 at 1:49 pm

btw, at my store only the “advanced lithium” batteries were on sale, not the “ultimate lithium” that the coupon is valid for…

Molly – Thanks! Just use the coupon from 8/28 – I dug it out and it should work for either one! 🙂

There is a coupon in the september booklet-can we use that one too?

The coupon in the September book is $5/1 Energizer 4x Advanced Lithium or 8x Lithium Batteries, 8pk AA (5996)

You would have to get the 8pk Advanced Lithium. Which I saw at my Wags for $5.99 as well.

So I think a deal would be:
Buy 1 Energizer 4x Advanced Lithium 8pk $5.99
Use $2/1 Energizer Ultimate Lithium or Advanced Lithium batteries, any AA/AAA 4 or 8 pack – 08-28-11 SS
Use Wags September Q $5/1 Energizer 8pk (5996)
oop= Free + $1.01 overage if your store allows it(make sure to get other item to cover the $1.01).

That one is for the 8pk and the ones on sale are the 4pk (or some 4pks with 2 bonus so 6pk).

Just came back from WAGs Nope the 8 pack is not on sale at my local store. And the 4 pack does not come with sticky yellow code

Irene – Like I posted, its the 4pk on sale not the 8pk.

I’m sorry that your store didn’t have any with the gas codes but that does not mean that someone else will not find it at their store.

Anna, a reader who sent me this deal found them, and then I went to my store and found them too. As you can see from my picture some of the packages have them some do not. Perhaps someone else beat you to the punch at your store. 🙁

The T & C state that not all packages/sizes and not all retailers will have the special offer, so it sounds like if you find them, you’re doing pretty well.

The real downer is one per household. While I normally use multiple email addresses or multiple people in my household for these kinds of offers, I can’t see a way to claim more than one household. Oh well, one card is better than none, as long as I can find the offer.

Is this a regional coupon? The reason I ask is I went through my ss from 8-28 and I did not have one. I live in Ohio. My krogers have them clearance for 3.00 bucks with the yellow gas sticker.

Same here in Southern California….went to two of my closest Wag’s….no go 🙁

I just went to my 2 stores and neither had the $10 gas card attached. However, 1 of them ad the $10 ituns gift card when you buy 3. That was on the 8pk of Energizer Max. Nothing on the Lithium. 🙁

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let you guys know that I just went out and the 8pk was not on Sale in my walgreens (South Cali) only the 4pk and I DID find some that had the $10 reward. I just submitted the codes and I have a Gas Card heading my way in 6 to 8 weeks. I am excited that this worked for me. I checked ALL the battery packs that were on sale since, for me, the ones in the very front did not have the codes but the ones in the back did.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME . I READ ON THE COUPON THAT IT IS FOR DURACELL TEH ONE FROM PG ON 8/28 DOES IT WORK ON TEH ENERGIZER?

Reply

Celia September 14, 2011 at 12:20 am

How long is this sale running? just until Saturday?

Reply

Madeline September 14, 2011 at 10:07 am

@ Sara you will need the Smart source coupon from 8/28, not from the P&G. Also Duracell and Energizer are two different companies so you can not use the Duracell coupon on the Energizer ones.

Do they need to be bought in the same transaction?

Just got back from Walgreens and someone has peeled to gas codes off. You could feel the sticky residue from where they had been. :(( PEOPLE???

These batteries weren’t marked on sale at my store, but I decided with the coupons and the rebate that it was still a good enough deal since I needed batteries. When I got home (kinda lost track at the register), I saw on the receipt that instead of $9.99 like they were marked, they rang up $5.99 anyways! Whoop, whoop!
