Possible Money Maker on Monkey Brains!

by Christie Bisbee on August 5, 2011

If you are anything like me you probably were wondering why you’d want to buy something called Monkey Brains…?! Well don’t worry, it’s not something out of an Indiana Jones movie,  Monkey Brains is actually the name of a line of hair products for kids and you can get them for cheap or possibly FREE this month at Walgreens!

There is a new Monthly Register Reward deal on these. The sign says Get a $2 Register Reward WYB $2.99+ Participating Monkey Brains products, however you might find some of the products priced for less and still printing the Register Reward!

Get $2 Register Rewards WYB $2.99+ Select Monkey Brains Products (thru 8/27)

I can’t promise that you’ll find the same prices at your store, but if you do you have a money maker. Even at the $2.99 price these are a nice deal, with no coupon required.

***DEAL IDEAS***
Buy (1) Money Brains Hair Glue or Hair Pome $1.09
Get $2 Register Rewards Back
= $.91 Money Maker!

Buy (1) Money Brains Extreme Hold Gel $2.19
Get $2 Register Rewards Back
= $.19 EACH!

If you find these priced at $2.99 which is the price printed on the actual display these are still a great deal at $.99 after Register Rewards!

(Thanks Igobogo for the deal & the picture!)

Thanks Christie! I just came to look around for another filler item that I need. I’m trying to hit a few stores getting the Keri and Kelloggs’ deal in two transactions so I can swap the RR’s each time, but it left me needing a filler item with the Keri. This and/or the Goody deal is exactly what I need to make it work!

Wild for Wags to the rescue again! 🙂

I noticed a couple weeks ago that these were on clearance at my Walgreens. Will definitely have to check it out!

I buy these Monkey Brains products like crazy for 4 of my children. This product works fabulous. One of the best we’ve tried. I actually got them (all types) last month at Kroger for a buck a piece. Kudos to Monkey Brains

Isn’t that saying that when you buy $2.99 worth of the products, then you get $2 R.R.???

Even if that’s the case, at $1.09 each, you are getting 3 bottles for just over $1!!

Actually, no. It means that the product is supposed to be $2.99, and you get back $2. But the thing is, at some stores they are on clearance for these prices, which makes them a very nice MM. Some stores only have them at $2.69, but it’s still a very nice item to roll RR’s with. 🙂

I just did this deal and none of the sale prices were marked so just have them scan it to check and yes the rr is printing out for all the products even if you buy the single one for only $1.09!

I got 2 of the Pomates today. They were near the front of the store in the cosmetics area. The cashier at the cosmetic counter told me that they came in but there is not place to put them on the regular shelves because all the spots on the regular hair shlef are “assigned” to other products. So she had to put them where there was a space…so they could be ANYWHERE at your store.

The pomate rang up as $2.19 and the other 2 for $3.
