I am excited for this deal, hoping I don’t have any trouble with it going thru, you can’t have too many wipes. 🙂 Going to pick up some for Grandma’s house too.

My plan is to buy 4 pks of wipes and use (2) of the $1/2 and then the Walgreens coupons. So, that would be (4) coupons and (4) products. It seems that would be less likely to freak out any cashiers since you only need 1 Wags Q to apply to all the products in your order. 🙂

Yes, Christie that would be the best way to do it to avoid any potential consequences, LOL

Christie, I have a question, the Q in the August Coupon Book estates that the coupon can’t be combined with other offers. Any ideas for me? Thanks

Is this a month deal?

Lori August 5, 2011 at 12:59 pm

Where or when did the infant care booklet come out? I can’t find in my stores. This is an awesome deal, wish I had that booklet.

Reply

dee August 5, 2011 at 4:50 pm

you do not need the actual coupon most wags will only need the numbers off of the coupon since it is a wags coupon

Lissette August 10, 2011 at 10:57 am

Same coupon in the monthly wags book usually located under circular by door.

Oooooh, I am loving all these great diaper/wipes deals! I scored 6 packages of Pampers this week for a total of $12 out of pocket plus 3RR back. And now the wipes!!!! Perfect timing for baby #2 coming out any day now!

Thanks for all your hard work, Christie!! This mama appreciates it!

Hi Lori & Omeshia, You can buy the infant care booklet on ebay and all the coupons do not expire until 12/31/11.

Reply

Mary August 5, 2011 at 3:20 pm

Truely sad you have to buy it now, considering they SHOULD be offered for free to Walgreen’s customers.

Reply

Rennelda August 5, 2011 at 3:48 pm

OMG, how sad is that you have to purchase in infant care booklet. I found mine hanging on a clipstrip in the baby aisle. You also might want to check the cosmetics section since it is pretty much their area. Also check the pharmacy waiting area. They should have a stand with the weekly ads along with the IVC book and diabetes magazine that also has coupons. Hope it helps!!

My WalGreens in Springfield mo has one copy of the infant care book behind the counter at cosmetics. The cashier checks me out there and scans her coupon for me. Ask your stores!

this is an awesome deal! but am i missing something…how is it 1.49 each? 5.99×2+11.98-$1/2-$2-$2=6.98/2=3.49 each????

Reply

andrea jones August 5, 2011 at 2:07 pm

This is almost right, except that each of the $2/1 comes off 2 times so it is this….5.99×2=11.98-$1/2-$2-$2-$2-$2=6.98/2=1.49 each
For each pack, the walgreens coupons comes off.

I have a super coupon-friendly manager that has ordered an extra 10 for me. If you know about these deals ahead of time, your manager might not mind adding a few to their normal order for you.

MAry August 5, 2011 at 2:20 pm

I thought you could only use 1 walgreen coupon and 1 manufacture coupon? If so I am figuring them up to be 3.49 also.

Reply

dealmom August 5, 2011 at 7:15 pm

i’m also wondering if we can use two seperate walgreens coupons (ist $2 off from infant care booklet, 2nd $2 offis from august wags booklet) will these worked if they combine? please share if anyone of you will try this coming sunday…thanks.

Eddy August 6, 2011 at 11:12 pm

When i went today at 8 p.m. i got a price check on the wipes and it was active (at 5.99) so i did the deal with both wags coupons without a problem! 🙂

Amanda August 5, 2011 at 2:48 pm

I just called Walgreens customer service and he told me if the coupon in the booklet say manufacturer coupon on it then you can only use one!?!? I’m so confused now.

Kellyn westra August 5, 2011 at 3:00 pm

Thanks to whomever stated you can buy those infant booklets on EBAY! cuz every store in my area has no idea what I’m talking about and I magically received it once in the mail after my baby was born (how did they know that?) and thats it!

Reply

Jay August 5, 2011 at 3:15 pm

The infant care coupons came in a mailer for me that had coupons for a whole bunch of different baby stuff.

Reply

Kells August 5, 2011 at 3:39 pm

If you have a frienly cashier she can type the code in for you x5519.

Reply

Isel August 5, 2011 at 3:48 pm

I’ve always given the cashiers the codes since I’ve never even seen the Infant Booklet & its always worked! They just type it in and all the codes expire 12/31/11.

some walgreens will have copies at cosmetics…i was at one in omaha today that had it under plexiglass posted at their registers!! crazy 🙂

Reply

hotmamacoupon August 6, 2011 at 2:50 am

Was it also bulletproof? lol
I was thinking about stocking some even though my baby is not due for a long long time, however, seems like a lot of headache, from finding that booklet, then potentially having the cashier to refuse to take both wags coupons…
Yeah, I’ll pass on this one.

Reply

Bonnie August 5, 2011 at 11:42 pm

At my walgreens we tested it today with both coupons! It worked!!! 🙂 My store manager ordered a ton because I told him about this deal! 🙂

Reply

Jill August 6, 2011 at 10:04 am

Wow, I wish I had a store manager like yours. My store never is stocked well for the good deals, RR products, and when I come up with coupons, he looks ready for a fight every time, lol….lucky you!!!!

Thanks for letting us know it worked. Did he say anything useful about WHY it worked in case those of us need to teach our own cashiers?

Reply

Candy August 6, 2011 at 1:21 am

Do you have to give your infant care coupon? Or is it like the monthly coupon booklet ones?

Reply

Erwina August 6, 2011 at 1:38 am

Hi

I have the Infant care booklet pdf print so if someone would like me to send through email please ask me at [email protected]
I don’t know other way to send the file.

Reply

juli August 6, 2011 at 5:45 pm

I would appreciate an email of this [email protected] the manager at my wags said they didn’t know about the infant care books, and they will not type in the # without proof of expiration. Thank you!!!

Reply

franny26 August 19, 2011 at 9:25 am

I need a pdf copy of it since the cashiers in my local Walgreens will not enter “codes” without a hard copy of the booklet. I’ll send you an emailed request for it 🙂 Thanks!

Hi! No, he didn’t say why it worked or anything. I am a beauty advisor at walgreens, and I had a customer that came to me and asked me about it. So I told her well lets try it and see what happens!!! (we keep a copy of the infant care coupon book behind the register) I called my store manager and asked him, and he said give it a try!!! Sooooo I did and it worked! I called him back and told him it worked, and he said that it was awesome and that he is going to order a whole bunch. The only bad thing about it is my store won’t get all he ordered till wednesday! But he said something about putting up a table of them and advertising them as $1.99 after coupons! YES he is so great, every walgreens should have a store manager like him!

Bonnie August 6, 2011 at 10:40 am

No Candy, you don’t have to give up the coupon from the infant book! It’s a Walgreens coupon u can use over and over! 🙂

Reply

Erwina August 6, 2011 at 12:10 pm

I just hoping that will get $1/2 Wipe Manufacture Coupon because I never get them here at Wilmington,NC 🙁

Angela August 6, 2011 at 2:19 pm

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a limit on the wags coupons or if I can buy as many as I need in one transaction or split it up?

Reply

Erwina August 6, 2011 at 11:44 pm

I think the limit is 2 items in one transaction and sometimes 4.

I tryed before using wag July coupon for 3 items and it did not work and the cashier tryed with 2 items at one transaction and it worked.

I went in tonight to get the deal on wipes…and I got 10 packs (pre-ordered) and tried it all at once, it took off both coupons for all…-20 dollars for each! it was nice 🙂

Reply

Anna m August 7, 2011 at 2:57 am

I bought 12 packs with no problem! I didn’t clear the shelves, don’t worry 🙂

Heather August 7, 2011 at 12:57 am

Sooo pumped for this deal!!! I just got my infant care book in the mail today!!! PERFECT TIMEING!!!!! Thank you sooo much!!!!

Shari August 7, 2011 at 9:56 am

I did this deal this morning. I bought four packs (I didn’t want to clear the shelves) and they took off the 8.00 from the coupon in the infant care booklet and 8.00 from the coupon in the August booklet. AND my cashier (she was so nice) allowed me to use manufacturer coupons too so I got another 2.50 off (I didn’t get the 1.00 off coupon in my ads). SO happy I got 4 packs of wipes for 1.36 each; or .00629 a wipe. I have a baby due in 36 days so this deal could not have come at a better time.

Jill August 7, 2011 at 11:39 am

I did this deal this morning too! I also bought 4 pkgs of wipes. I only used 3 MFQ’s (.75 mailer, .75 mailer, and .50 insert) so that the Infant Care coupon looked like my 4th MFQ. (I don’t have a coupon friendly store manager.)

I made sure to give my coupons in order, but one of them didn’t scan and cashier grabbed Infant Care coupon before I could have her re-scan the last MFQ and it made the register beep. She still put it through, but it confused her and the store manager had to come over. So really make sure you give your Q’s in the right order for this deal.

Lastly, I gave her the Aug. booklet WQ and it took everything off just fine….

Both Wags q’s took off 8 dollars each, plus my MFP’s took of 2 and I got four packs for $5.96!

I had no problems doing this deal, bought 6 in one transaction. Great deal, even without manufacturer coupons!

I went into Wags this morning and used my husbands discount card. I grabbed 6 packs of diapers at 5.09 each then used (6) $.50 MFQ’s and used both the Infant Care and the August booklet. After all discounts for all 6 it was $3.54. I had a few other products like the Listerine for the kids, etc and it came to a little over $8. I handed the cashier my $8 RR from last week’s Complete Contact Solution and ended up paying $.10 for everything. Definitely made my day and this was my first best purchase since I came back from vacation a week and half ago.

I have a question–I tried this deal this am and I was only allowed to use the Infant Care Book coupon for 2.00 off each pack of wipes. The Walgreens staff said it was due to the August coupon book coupon and the Infant Care Book coupons both state on the coupons in small print that they are MANU. coupons? So I was also not allowed to use my 50 cent manu. coupons with it. So I had to pay 3.99 per pack of wipes. Is anyone else having this problem with their Walgreens? What can I do about it?

fely August 7, 2011 at 9:46 pm

Just came back from walgreens in san diego, ca. I used both the august and the infant care… but when i needed to use the mfr cpn, it beeped. I added an item and it still beeped. The cashier had to push it through. Is this because i used the walgreens coupons first?

Reply

Yeni August 11, 2011 at 1:33 am

Fely, it’s very possible, always use mq first. To abbie, that cashier was dead wrong. When you scan the coupon, it automatically took off how many wipes you bought, for instance, since I bought 5 wipes, the register took off ten dollar off right away

Yeni August 11, 2011 at 1:28 am

I bought 5 wipes, yiiiiihaaaaaa, also next to it, there was a plastic holder that contained at least 50. I took some out, if anyone wants me to send you one, you can send me a stamp to send it to you: [email protected]. if you want to send me some useful coupons, I’ll appreciate it as well.
