Thanks for the tip! I had $5.95 in my “Orange Savings” so was able to transfer/ deposit the $5 from there, thus not even really depositing $5. Yay!

Sweet – You just made $50! Even with interest rates being so low nation wide they still pay the best on savings. Plus we love how you can break up your savings account into parts under the same account. We use it to designate part of our savings account for “Christmas”. I guess I have to start working on that again!

Hi. I opened the account the way you said. I didn’t see anywhere on there about a $50 credit. How can I be certain I will get that??

Hi Lisa – There was a banner ad on their home page this morning for it. If you want to be sure I suggest calling them at 1-800-ING-DIRECT, they are very friendly. We’ve had our accounts with them for at least 6 or 7 years, maybe more. Let them know that you saw their ad this morning for the $50 bonus and signed up for an account and just want to be sure you’ll get your $50 bonus. 🙂
