Walgreens Coupons & Deals

Quick! Cheap or Possibly FREE John Frieda!

by Christie Bisbee on November 29, 2011

Yay! There is a NEW Walgreens mobile coupon for $5/1 John Freida Hair Color! It’s good today 11/29 and tomorrow 11/30.

I have been finding the John Frieda hair color on clearance for $6.59 or less, which would make for some seriously cheap hair color.

PLUS there’s a high value $3/1 coupon for John Frieda Hair Colour. If you are able to stack both that would make for some FREE hair color!

These mobile coupons are definitely Walgreens coupons, so I would try to give a MQ and then the mobile coupon to see what happens.  I’ll try it later today but if someone tries it first let us know how it goes. Even with just the mobile coupon this is a great deal if you find them on clearance!

Buy (1) John Frieda Foam Hair Colour $6.59
-$5/1 John Frieda Hair Color Walgreens Mobile coupon x11/30
= $1.59 EACH!

Buy (1) John Frieda Foam Hair Colour $6.59
-$3/1 coupon for John Frieda Hair Colour
-$5/1 John Frieda Hair Color Walgreens Mobile coupon x11/30

Also, although the image of the manufacturer’s coupon says “available at Walmart”, this coupon did NOT print with any mention of Walmart anywhere on it when I printed it! 🙂

Click on the coupon link, than at the bottom of the page it says view coupon. Click on that and you should see the coupon.

has anybody else tried this one yet?

I didn’t see it at first, you should be able to see the coupons link when you delete and redownload the Walgreens app. The old app didn’t have the Coupons link.

I am going to go try this now! I don’t normally buy hair color like this and only buy it from the beauty supply stores, but this is too good to pass up. I just hope they have the colors I want! 🙂

Does this coupon work just like the wags paper coupons….so if u buy 3 would 1 scan of the coupon take off $15 or just $5?

Angie November 29, 2011 at 4:37 pm

Good question…I have 2 $3.00 off manufacture coupons I want to use…I wonder if I can buy 2 of them and it will take off $10.00?

I just did this deal today WOOHOO, I bought a box of hair dye on clearance for $6.59, used the Wags mobile q for $5 plus a $2.00 manuf and got a box of free hair dye that I’m gonna give to my grandma, thanks for the heads up Christie :D.

P.S.- If you have problems with the coupon scanning at the register have the cashier key in the numbers at the top of the coupon, that typically works best.

I am so happy. I had a MQ for $3.00 off and the Walgreens mobile coupon and they did stack and I got the hair color free. I am new to couponing but your website helps me know the ins and outs of couponing . Thanks and god bless

Well a little bummed as they didnt have the clearance going on in my walgreens BUT I went ahead and bought one.
-$5 Wag Mobile
-$3 Manuf coupon
= $4.99
I thought that wasnt to bad PLUS keep your eyes open. My box has a free sample on the color I choose in both shampoo and conditioner. *There is a lil HOT PINK TAG on the outside of the box telling you its inside* AND If that wasnt enough to tickle, it also has a coupon inside box attached to the extra products for “$2.50 on any John Frieda (color you selected) product. Woohoos!
So in the end I got
$4.99 precision foam, shampoo $ conditioner, & $2.50C

Can I use the wags mobile coupon with a man coupon to get $5 towards additional purchase?

Angiew November 29, 2011 at 4:32 pm

My manufacture coupon is for a free box..

Thanks for letting me know about the walgreens app. I will be trying the John Freida hair color. Thanks so much for all you do and your site is so helpful considering I am new to couponing. Merry Christmas and have a wonderful New Year.

I did this deal today and it does takes off $5 for each! I stacked it with the $3 manu coupons with no problems!

Kristi November 29, 2011 at 5:59 pm

How many did you get? I have 3 or 4 of the $3/1 MQs and I am wondering if I can use them all.

Melissa November 29, 2011 at 6:17 pm

Hello! Does anyone know if I can use the mobile Q more than once if I go to a different location? Just wondering as I will be stopping at two locations later.

Kristi November 29, 2011 at 6:24 pm

The fine print on the mobile coupon says one use per mobile device. If it’s anything like Target mobile coupons, it will be deactivated after you use it. Maybe somebody has tried it though.

Can you use an in ad Q plus a Walgreens Q from the infant care booklet plus a manufacturer coupon? I’ve had this work at some stores but at a particular store I always have an issue and I”m not sure if this is in their policy so i dont have a strong argument whenever i have an issue.

fernanda November 30, 2011 at 5:10 pm

well, the price is 12.99$ and not $6.59.
i don’t think it is a good deal….
