FREE Right Guard & Dry Idea Sneak Peek!

by Christie Bisbee on May 20, 2011

Here is an early sneak peak at some items that will be B1G1 FREE (Mix & Match) starting Sunday May 29th.  Included in that display are Right Guard and Dry Idea products!  That’s GREAT news because the B1G1 Dry Idea Coupon will still be good for the first (3) days of this sale! (5/29 – 6/25)

If you still have those coupons you’ll have another chance at picking up (2) FREE Right Guard Body Washes, Right Guard Deodorants or Dry Idea Deodorants! If you are out of coupons, I do see them on sale on eBay HERE.

STARTING 5/29 BUY
(2) Right Guard Body Washes OR Deodorants OR Dry Idea Deodorants B1G1 FREE
(1) B1G1 Dry Idea Or Right Guard Product, Any – 05-01-11 RP – valid to $4.49 x5/31
= FREE!

(2) Got2be Products B1G1 FREE (prices start at $5.99)
-$2/1 got2b Styling Product, Full Size, Any – All You, April (x6/1) or June 2011 (x8/1)
= $.99 EACH!

Also, if your store turns on the Sunday ad early (and there is still product available), next Saturday evening 5/28, you’d be able to pick up B1G1 Tone with the $3 RR still being active! So you’d get (2) for $.99 after the Register Reward, or a money maker if you printed the $2/1 tone (no longer available). 🙂

A few weeks ago, my store did not allow me to use the B1G1 Clean & Clear Body Wash to get them free. They didn’t even want to adjust them for 2/.50 cents. What can I do if the manager says No. I am sure he won’t allow the use of these coupons either.

It’s supposed to be Walgreens policy (the B1G1 part) but I too had a problem with a manager at the Heathrow Walgreens. Having 4 in about a 5 mile radius (and two more near my office), I opted to remove them from my shopping route, and have spread the word about them as well where I’m able.

This week I went to another two miles away (Lake Mary) and the service was PERFECT…

Calls were made both about the bad store and the good one to Head Quarters.

Not sure if that’s an option where you are located…

Hi, I went to walgreen last night. I got 1 easter stuff for filler, the register rang it as 1.99, and did not reflect the 75% off. After I used all my coupons and expiring register rewards, I paid 13 cent oop. The manager said that they could not do anything, except give me 13cents because that’s how much that I paid total. Is that how the other walgreen works? Or is it just that particular manager who decides on his own about walgreen regulation? I’m super confused. I know the cashier supposed to adjust the price down, but since I had 30 items total with 30 different coupons, I understood that it’s hard to keep track of the clearance price. So, I’m not blaming on my wonderful cashier. Please advise. This happened so many times to me. Often, after I paid for everything, then I realized the mistakes.

Same thing has happen to me and I have asked for a store gift card. That way they are not giving me money but are just giving me my RR back that I should not have had to use.

Went to my Walgreen’s today and the manager let me know that a district wide policy will soon be in place that will limit you to 3 like items per visit, or 4 like items if they are on a BOGO deal.

I’m in Idaho, so I’m not sure how far-reaching this policy change will be – but it’s interesting to know that things are changing.

I have to say I like this, I am tired of going to my Walgreens and there never being anything left on the shelf because one person cleared it.
I was told by a cashier the other day that they were getting new registers that were supose to work better with the coupons.

Regarding to Jen, paying thirteen cents and then asking them to give you more money because you were overcharged is silly, I have to agree with the manager on this. As for seeing your cashiers mistakes ,maybe buy the same and use the same coupons but break it up into smaller transactions so you can watch it ring up.

Are you sure that Walgreens will accept a B1G1 free coupon with a B1G1 free offer? I don’t want to go there and look stupid. The cashiers aren’t always so nice.

Ken
I had the same problem with that deal, the manager told me I can’t use the coupon during the promotion because they already have a BOGO in that item. I told him that I can use my coupons during a sale and show him the W policy but he don’t honor my coupons. I call corporte and complaint so call them and let them know (if you have his/her is better) and keep a copy of their policy with you.
Finally I went to other W and pick my C&C.

I have not been getting the weekly Walgreens sneek preview. Has anyone else been getting it?

Reply

Amy May 20, 2011 at 9:44 pm

Just Google “Walgreens sneak preview” for the link. My e-mail reminder seems to come late now so I just do this instead.

ne neither! But I love this, My walgreens said that if I give them enough notice, they will make sure to stock (our one tiny)walgreens with enough stuff for all the couponers in our town! I wish I could get this update more then any other coupon update online!

you can also “like” walgreens on facebook and they post when the sneak peak is available. I find that they usually post it there anywhere from 10-12 hours before i receive the email from them.

Hi Christie, I am trying to do the buy 1.99 tape, get 2 free. I have 2 dollar off coupons. So in case the register beeps, what part of the walgreens coupon policy is applicable? I want to print it out and take it with me, just in case.

Christina May 20, 2011 at 8:14 pm

@ Andrea, the past two Fridays I didn’t get it either (I think last Friday they had ‘technical’ issues. But I have found that if it doesn’t come in your email you can google ‘Walgreens Sneak Peek Ad’ and it brings you to a link directly to Walgreens’ site to view it. It has worked ‘most’ of the time for me when its not in my email….

I have a question on the B1G1F right guard.. Even if their sale is B1G1F too, that means the coupon pays for the one I was supposed to pay for ? Does Walgreens offer rainchecks ?

Whitney Arnold May 21, 2011 at 12:40 pm

I got a raincheck from them yesterday for sure deoderant

Alisa May 22, 2011 at 11:21 am

Just don’t be surprised if a problem occurs with the cashier/manager. Bring your policy.

Reply

liz May 21, 2011 at 2:32 am

also is there going to be a limit on the Right Guard deoderants ?

Whitney Arnold May 21, 2011 at 10:55 am

I haven’t ever done the B1G1 deal using a B1G1 coupon. I just ordered 10 B1G1 Right Guard coupons off of Ebay. So will I buy 10 right guards for 5? Im confused on how this works & will all of them be free?

Reply

Whitney Arnold May 21, 2011 at 10:56 am

*or 5

Reply

ali May 21, 2011 at 5:11 pm

If you ordered 10 coupons, then you will be able to get 20 items for free. (i.e. if each product is $4 and you got 20 things, your total would be $80. Then the cashier would take off $40 for the 10 BOGO free coupons and the register would deduct another $40 for the store’s BOGO free promotion, leaving you with a total of $0, plus sales tax). You should get a mixture of deodorant, body wash, and dry idea stuff so you don’t clear the shelves of just one product. Hope that makes sense.

It does girl! Thanks!! & good Idea, I really didn’t want 20 off the same item anyways

good luck finding even 1 bottle of the bodywash…all the Wags near me have been out for a couple weeks!!!

Manga May 22, 2011 at 1:03 pm

May be you know that already but still wanted to put here again. If you take any ad to your nearest Target and ask them to price match they will do it. When I miss the Right guard body wash I carried the Walgreens paper ad to Target and asked for price match and applied Qs. Most of the times the price will be less compared to Walgreens so I have to pay just $0.8 as tax for 6 body washes.
