FREE Redbox Rental Good At Walgreens ONLY!

by Christie Bisbee on July 16, 2011

There is a Redbox DVD rental code that’s good for 1 FREE dvd rented at a Redbox at Walgreens ONLY.

This code is good for a one night DVD rental and it will work one time per credit card used. Just use the code DVDATWAG to get one free movie rental!

You can search for a Walgreens with a Redbox Rental Kiosk near you HERE.

(Thanks Candace!)

Do you know how long the Red Box code is good for?

I don’t, but I think it’s probably good for a while since some stores are just getting them now.

Yeah, Netflix WAS great, but they just announced starting Sept 1st for current members(right now for any new sign ups) that they have increased their prices 60%!! I have been a subscriber, but come the end of Aug, before my subscription goes from $9.99 to $15.98 for the same service, I am discontinuing.

I do 2 at a time and really don’t use the streaming. So I’m dropping to just 2 at a time with no streaming so I’ll actually save. I don’t have cable so Netflix saves us a bunch.

NetFlix is Still a great deal compared to the $60+ dollars that cable companies charge.

Netfix is still great – thousands and thousands of movies and TV episodes on streaming. I will just use the $2/month I will be saving (by going from one DVD out at a time to no DVD service — 9.99 down to 7.99) at Redbox – giving Redbox more revenue from us. So instead of getting 4 or 5 movies per month in the mail I will get 2 per month from Redbox instead. And with all kinds of codes from all kinds of sources we could get 4, 5 , maybe even 6 movies for the $2.

According to the Redbox website, there is also a promo code to ‘Try Redbox Free’ DVDONME. So maybe we can get the deal Christie suggested and this one and get 2 movies free?

I’m dropping my dvd part of netflix and going with streaming. I do not have cable any more (just use an antenna)so I like the on demand part of it. I am always finding redbox/blockbuster deals to make up for the dvd part. I still think it stinks though.

Do I need to sign up for Redbox first to rent movies at kiosk, or can I just stop by any Walgreens kiosk?
