Look For Clearance Tena Serentiy!

by Christie Bisbee on March 21, 2011

Be on the lookout for clearance Tena Serenity pads. Several of you have e-mailed me to let me know that you found these on clearance and they still produced the $10 Register Reward!

Amanda, sent over a picture of the Tena pads she found for just $6.50, making it a $6 MONEY MAKER after the -$2.50/1 Tena Ultra Thins coupon and the $10 Register Reward! And Teresa found them for $3.25, making them a $9.25 MONEY MAKER! Talk about a fabulous deal. So be sure to check the clearance section of your stores for these, you never know and it can’t hurt to look!

If you don’t use these, they make an excellent item to donate. Nursing homes, senior centers and even food pantries that except toiletries and personal care items would be thrilled to have these.

(Thanks Amanda, Teresa & Susan!)

Went back today and they were gone πŸ™ Will they give you a raincheck on a clearance item and will you still get the RR? I at least got 2 yesterday πŸ™‚

no, no rainchecks for clearance prices. The reason we clearance items is because of new packaging, reducing the number of products we carry or to get rid of things that are seasonal. Our store has tons and tons of items on clearance right now because we are reducing items. We’ll carry more of the items that are good sellers and get rid of the items that don’t sell as well.
And no, a register reward will only print during the week (or timeline) that it’s designed for and not after. Sorry.

Hey everyone today I got a 5.00 off any Depend product coupon print out of the catalina machine. If anyone has those and wants to trade, I would LOVE these. My father who is a prostate cancer SURVIVOR, goes through 2 packs a week. This would be soooo helpful. Please and THANK YOU!!!!

I went to get these today and bought the 42 count TENA Ultra thins–no sale sign so figured it was $9.99. Nope, rang up $7.49, $2.50 coupon came off fine, and I got the $10 register reward. Score!

I work in a home health care office, and give them to the nurses to give to their patients on limited budgets (just about all of them). So I will def be on the hunt!

Ad indicates that the RR is for 32ct and 42ct Tena Ultra Thins. The ones I found clearanced were the 42ct Ultra Thins.
I use this type of product as an overnight diaper doubler for my son. He’s a pee factory. This saves us from pee soaked bedding every morning. πŸ™‚

how come some wags Tena are on sale and some are not?
I remember last week seeing them on sale at a store but when i went tonight they were gone πŸ™

But I did find some at the regular sale 9.99 so I guess it’s better than nothing.
What my cashier did was really slick… She probably knew people were rolling RRs so after my first transaction of Tenas -while I was paying with my debit card she ran my second transaction so NO RRs came out… after paying for my second transaction of Almay finally, all my RRs would then come out at once… Good thing I didn’t plan to use the first RR on the second transaction otherwise I would be a sad wags customer tonight.

I live in Vancouver, WA and we do not get the RR for this. We only get bonus points on our card. Not a MM at all!

I found some on clearance but they are not the ultra thins. Does anyone know if the coupon will still work? Also, are all the tena’s generating register rewards or just the ultra thins?

I found some today marked with a $6 orange sticker. I also used the MQ for $2.50. The sales clerk rolled his eyes & made a few sounds. I asked if there was a problem & he said “I shouldn’t have even done that for you. Now you will get a $10 RR.”

He acted like I was the one who put the orange sticker on it!

I found these on clearance at my wags but the rr didn’t print. I used rr from another transaction to buy them, so if I return them how will they refund me???

Melissa – if they are the right ones, why not try calling Catalina first and ask them to send you your $10 RR? I find each store varies dramatically on the returns with RR.

Hi.
Yesterday, when I were out doing my couponing, I didn’t find any clearance Tena. However I found some Tena underwear packages with Mail in rebate peelies on them, up to 14.99. I,m not sure if it will only work on the underwear, or if they will accept them on the liners aswell.

Oh Stacey! That makes me so mad! Like YOU were the genius who decided to put something on clearance while it was issuing Register Rewards. What exactly was he “doing for you”? His job? They get all the money back from the manufacturers, so why all the attitude and rudeness?

Reply

Stacey March 29, 2011 at 5:40 pm

Exactly! Unfortunately he’s usually the one working the register when I’m there. I need to wait until it gets busy to check out & then hopefully I can get someone else!
