i like this site but everytime i go to walgreens with coupons and to get the rr’s the register always beeps and I have to get a manager or something goes wrong. I really am getting tired of fight to get the great deals at walgreens the other store there competitor will let you have as many transactions as you want and you can use your ecb’s right then you dont have to leave the store. Please let me know if i am missing something.

Jennie, try reading the Frequently Asked Questions or replicating one of the scenarios I post to the letter and see how that goes. It can be frustrating at first but once you get the hang of it you’ll be fine. CVS is a great store but with limits of 1 or 2 you can’t shop like you can at Walgreens. If somethings a great deal or a huge money maker, or I have a large family I may want more than 1.

@Jennie I had your same issues. I had to call several times the hdqrts and meanwhile I was going to another store while they got it together and they have. Since Wags does not have an actual cpn policy every store kinda stands alone. What I do is that I copy the deals from here to word and I know what transactions I will be doing and how much I will be spending. U DO NOT have to leave the store to make more transactions, that is silly. Also try to go when there is not alot of traffic. I go very early in the AM. But dont give up, just ask for a manager and always have that phone number ready to dail hdqrts.

I work at a Walgreens, and when you say to “have that phone number ready to dial hdqrts” I don’t think you are really being fair to the employees. If the register accepts the coupon, great.. If not, I’m sorry but we don’t program the registers. Our policies may be different than other stores, but that’s the company, not us. When a complaint goes to our headquarters, we are notified of it as well as our district manager. It is a silly thing to get an employee in trouble for, and it’s not fair to us.

I found a buy 1 gillette a/p-deod get 1 body wash free Q in my 5/16 RP. just in case you need an extra Q
I got the free tote bag along with a bunch of free samples and Q’s(Gillette & Pantene) at Wegman’s.
Wegman’s is awesome for free samples. There are at least 7 or 8 sample stands on a Staurday. Last Saturday I sampled Sausage, Scallops, milkshake, barbq Chicken, Peaches, salad, Iced Tea and tost with Jelly. YUM! Oh and even a sample of Wine Cooler!

My RepHresh Brillant Tampon coupon wouldn’t work at the register. The manager said it was fraudulent! It looks legit. Was this an issue for anyone else?
RepHresh issues it’s coupons in a pdf form. I signed up for it and got the pdf coupon too. Like I mentioned in my Updates from the Field post, the one I printed that was about business card sized didn’t scan well, but the one I printed that was about a 1/3 of a page scanned fine. Really, they should have just entered in the numbers manually when it didn’t work.
But I have another solution for you one that will be even more fun… I have to admit I HATE, HATE, HATE it when clueless staff starts acusing people of fraud. It’s downright mean in my opinion. So… there is a $1/1 coupon right in the refresh box! So if you go back and they won’t scan your coupon, just open the box and pull out the $1/1 coupon and hand it to them. HA, that’ll show ’em! 😉
