I used this coupon at Walmart, purchasing the Gain dishsoap & the scanner beeped–meaning that this coupon was NOT supposed to be used for that product afterall. The saleslady would’ve had to override the register to make this transaction work, meaning this is NOT a valid use of that particular coupon. Sorry.

If you go look at the coupon that’s exactly what it says, using it for detergent would be incorrect.
This coupon was in the coupon book that they send you in the mail. I know they had the rebate or coupon book if you sent in reciepts in the begining of the year.
Exactly – It’s that little blue book. They also did a facebook giveaway for them, so you could have gotten 2.
That is such a good deal on the Atkins shakes! 2 for $8, minus 2 $2/1 coupons makes them $2 each 4-pack! I drink these for breakfast every morning. 🙂

At my Walgreens in Clearwater, FL – they will NOT let me use two coupons for a B1G1. I tried with the Schick Hydro Shave Cream that was B1G1 and the cashier had an attitude when I told her that I can do it that way everywhere else. I said, “I’m able to do it that way all the time.” and the coupon beeped and she said, “No. You can’t! YOU ARE GETTING IT FREE. YOU ARE NOT BUYING IT. Therefore, you can’t use a coupon.” – and the caps is where she was emphasizing with sarcasm. It was rather frustrating and I ended up not getting it. Also, I had a coupon for $1 off any GOld Bond Ultra product and I bought two of the travel sizes of lotion for $0.49 each. I guess Walgreens doesn’t do overage which stinks. She said she couldn’t use it since on by itself didn’t equal a $1. I took my coupon back and left. I’ll just wait for a sale at Publix or Target. I have been having nothing but coupon issues with both Walgreens and CVS. I don’t care how good their deal is if the coupon rules aren’t the same as other stores. Also, every Walgreens I go to they give me different answers when it comes to coupons. Do they not have a general coupon policy?
Walgreen’s coupon policy is available on their website in the “Help” topics. There is also a portion that addresses BOGOs. The short answer is that BOGOs are allowed on BOGO specials, provided the net price doesn’t go below zero. Might want to print out their policy and take it with you. Believe it or not, I had a Walgreen’s clerk as ME about couponing policies recently and I could quote when their own assistants couldn’t…though they were very receptive to learning, which was nice.

I work at a Walgreens in Illinois…you are able to use buy 1 get 1 coupons on items that are already buy 1 get 1…sometimes the register will beep and say you can’t use it, but according to our policy, you can. The cashier just has to put in how much the coupon is for, and hit mfr coupon..I do it all the time for customers.

When I said BOGOs, I meant that their policy says a coupon can be used on a store BOGO promotion. Don’t think I said it very well in the first comment, sorry.
Thank you for the policy link. I can’t believe it is so clear that they will adjust the amount of the coupon if the coupon is more than the item. I had a manager say no to a cashier on the phone about a $.75 coupon for a $.74 toothbrush. I think he was too lazy to come to the register. I was thinking it was up to the manager on that one.

I usually plan my shopping trips when I get the paper on Sunday, but now I can plan ahead and go on Sunday morning and hopefully everything will be stocked. usually I have to make 2-3 trips during the week to get everything I want since things get sold out so fast at my Wags! Carolyn – Yes, if you buy (2) you should be able to use all (3). The B1G1 attaches to one, the $2/1 is for the one you pay full price for, and the Walgreens book is a store coupon that should take $1 off for each (so $2). 🙂
As far as I can tell the Enfamil coupons at coupons.com are long gone. I have tried several zip codes with no luck.
