Good morning! I’m new to coupon and on the Walgreen as well. I want to know there are limited on iirish spring this week. 5000 point when you buy 2. What if I buy more is that point will count for every 2 that I purchase or you can just do it 1 times. And what if I follow you with the deal A and B, and do both like your deals but different transactions, do I get exactly like your post or just the option for me to do either one of it. Thank you so much.
Hey Sheila! Yes you’ll earn $5 in points for every 2, so if you buy four, you’ll earn $10 in points. However, keep in mind that the coupon limit for Irish spring is 4. You can go back another day for more, and you’ll get the points.
You can do both deal Ideas A and B. B is specifically to earn 10x everyday points AND to pay with points, so you must have those points available in your card in order for it to come out like it does above.
I bought 2 Bic twilight razors at $4.99 each and 1 Bic Bella at $5.99 and a clearance package of facial wipes for 24 cents, total $16.21plus .35 tax. I had the $7.00 digital on 2 and I used a $5.00 register reward to pay part of it.I used 4,000 points and56 cents cash.I did not get the 5,000 bonus points for buying $15.00. The clerk said it was because I used coupons and then said it was because I did not spend $15.00. She told me she was trained in customer service and she knew more about how coupons worked than everyone else. I was nice and thanked herf for being patient , but needless to say I will find another to check me out next time. Was I not supposed to be able to pay with points on this and get points?
No, Mary you cannot pay with points on the Bic deal. The Clerk was correct. The first transaction above with the BIC does not note paying with points. BIC is a threshold deal. When you have to earn a certain dollar amount to earn points, you cannot pay with points. On the Irish Spring/Softoap/Pantene where you have to buy a quantity of products to earn points, you CAN pay with points.
On Option B above where you are paying with $20 in points, notice that the subtotal is over $40 since the $20 in points will count against the $20 Threshold to earn 10x everyday points. So if you wanted to pay with $4 in points for the Bic, you needed to reach $19 worth of Bic.
