Starting Sunday, most areas will have an awesome $5 wyb $30+ in points booster points offer in the Walgreens ad. If it is programmed like all previous offers, you’ll have to reach $30 after Walgreens Coupons are scanned, but before any manufacturer coupons or Register Rewards. You’ll be able to make a maximum of three separate transactions to earn $5 (5,000 Booster Points) each. Here’s an idea for mostly Oral Care, plus a treat and a filler.
You’ll earn $3 (3,000 Balance Reward Points) when you buy three participating Colgate products and a $4 Register Reward when you buy three participating Crest products. I know that this question is late. I only tried once during these 3 days to do the Points Booster. I had $32 in product and wanted to use $11 in Mfg
coupons. So my total after the coupons would have been $21. The cashier refused to scan the Points Booster from the ad until after my coupons were scanned. I told her that I knew she could scan it first, but she called her manager and he confirmed what she thought. I voided my transaction. It was a complete waste of time. What should I have done?
They were wrong. In the future, have them scan the coupon after they scan your first item. That way they won’t know what your total is going to be. You’ll give them all your coupons and they may say it won’t work, but it will and you can be on your merry way with your points. 🙂
