Walgreens Shopping Scenario 10/20

by Christie- on October 19, 2013

lightbulb2Here’s my Walgreens Shopping Scenario for the week of 10/20. In this scenario you’ll get $29.20 in merchandise, after sales and coupons you’ll pay $11.20 out of pocket and end up with $7 RR. That’s like getting everything for just $4.20!

Plus this is a great week to turn points into Register Rewards. You may want to consider paying for your first transaction with points! 😉

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THESE TRANSACTIONS
-) You can’t have more MQ than items! Blue = MQ
-) You don’t have to do these in one day, just pick up where you left off.
-) I always bring some extra fillers with me to the register, in case of an emergency!

TRANSACTION #1
Buy (1) Puracyn Wound and Skin Care, 4 oz, $10 Sale Price
Total = $10, Get Back $10 RR

TRANSACTION#2
Buy (2) EOS Shave Cream, 7 oz or Lip Balm, .25 oz, 2/$6 Sale Price
Buy (2) Oral-B 3D White Toothrbrush, 2/$6 Sale Price
Subtotal = $12
(2) $0.50 off Oral-B Pulsar, 3D White, Pro-Health, Complete or (2) Indicator or Cavity Defense Toothbrushes, exp. 10/31/13 (P&G 09/29/13)

End up with $7 RR! So it’s like paying $4.20 for 1 Puracyn, 2 EOS products, 2 Oral B Toothbrushes, 1 Irritable Bowel Syndrome Therapy, and 1 Pencil!

I was wondering if this 4 th transaction would work

(2) herbal essence body washes 2/$7
(2) treseme shampoos 2/$7
(1) Halloween pencil .20

use (2) .75 herbal essence coupons
Use (2) 2.50 treseme coupons
And the 7RR from the last transaction
Get back 2000 points for treseme and 2RR from the herbal essence

Total is .50 🙂 I hope that works out for me.

The coupon that we printed for the IB meds this week on one of the RRs had to be folded to deprecate the two bar codes. If you don’t it will read the last one instead of the first one. Works like a charm when folded. $1 mm with coupon.
