My 3 transactions at my 24 hour store were a success! I was able to get 2 of everything that was free and I forgot the $10 Wags card wyb the $30 iTunes multipack (so that was my 3rd). And I got 3 free Redbox rentals! πŸ™‚ I decided not to try to roll all of my rewards at the time since it was a little crazy, but I was able to do a few of them!

Marissa November 22, 2012 at 3:18 am

I’m so excited!
Question about rolling RR. If its the same company but different amounts can you roll those back and forth?

Reply

Karen A November 22, 2012 at 4:28 am

I have always done that without problem Marissa, and also if it’s P&G they usually roll and reprint another RR!

Reply

Angel B November 22, 2012 at 3:19 am

The Skintimate and Edge aren’t printing (we didn’t have the EXACT one pictured and didn’t have time/energy to fix it) so be careful. Everything else went fine.

$100.94 worth of merchandise for $1.36 OOP- got back $59.50 in RRs! AWESOME deals- only got 1 of each item. Have fun shopping everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!

Didnt get RR for scunci hair ties. Maybe ebxause I bought the colored instead of the black. Shopped at midnight and went back at 5 am (out of butter). Noticed that the stock dwindled significantly in that time span. my store is nearly out of thermacare and crest.

My edge RR didn’t print, but I did get 9 red box rentals, used my balance rewards for the last android tablet for the grandkids, for actual products I was OOP less than $10, and I did the transactions on the page and then some. Plus, I have 9 $10 off a $35 purchase through the weekend at walgreens. I will use those to stock up on Purex!

Stacia November 22, 2012 at 11:05 am

No rr for skintamint here either πŸ™
Used 40000 points and paid $2.xx! And got back $53 in rr. I have my next 5 transactions planned. Just hope there is stuff left when I make it back later tonight. I also need to work up some senarios using the $10 off $35s that I got yesterday. I’m thinking the iTunes cards with free $10 Walgreens card

Reply

Betsy November 22, 2012 at 10:21 pm

I don’t think you can use the $10 off $35 to purchase giftcards. Check the exclusions on the coupon.

Don’t forget about the dream water coupon in the Walgreens holidaybook. Makes it a money maker

If you have the Wags Vitamins and Supplements book there is a $2 coupon for the TrimBlu by Chromadex. When they scan the coupon it will add $27.99 instead of take off the $2, but it is definitely a match. Chromadex is the company that makes BlueScience products. They should just deduct the $2 for you. That is what the 2 cashiers I had did. Makes it a nice little tax killer!

Reply

adijat November 22, 2012 at 8:42 pm

I was able to do 2 of the TrimBlu and sure enough it was adding $27.99 to my bill but the managers manually added my $2 savings. Great day, can’t wait to use those $10/$35 ones tomorrow.

Don’t forget about the Almay eye shadows. 6.99 sale – $1 Wags coupon in wish list booklet – $1 MQ from last weeks paper = 4.99, get back 5.50 RR = .51 MM

I was lucky enough to find a tearpad for $2/1 Any Almay product, making this a 1.51 MM & getting some really good quality eye shadow for me & for presents.

Happy Turkey Day! I am thankful for Wild for Wags and all the great deals today.

Great day! Spent 102.00 (two transactions) got 84.00 RR, (2) 10.00 off next purchase, 2 red box and have the Herbal Essence (free after RR x 2 ) and the Crest Whitestrips (last box) 19.99 to go towards the 15.00 rebate.

HERE is my question for my next trip..all advice will help since I have to drive an hour for this Walgreens. I am looking to get the Sonic Care Airfloss (on sale for 76.18)(this is the nearest Wags that carries it). Can I use, the 10.00/35.00 catalina from today, a 10.00 MQ, and all the different RR that I got today (9 different ones)? How many fillers would I need?

Thank you so much!

Reply

Samantha November 22, 2012 at 3:41 pm

Patti,
You have to have as many items as MQ’s (includes RR), so since you have a MQ for the item, you will need 9 fillers to use your 9 RR’s. I have not yet used a $10/$35 Wags coupon, so I’m not sure if you need a filler for that one. Usually for Walgreens coupons, you don’t, but I’m not sure how that one works with their system! You could always bring an extra filler to the register just to be safe (and use it only if you need to!). Hope that helps!

Reply

JoAnn November 22, 2012 at 7:08 pm

I got a 10/35 coupon today and cashier told me (without me even asking) that it does not count against your coupon total, so you should not need a filler to cover that one.

Reply

adijat November 22, 2012 at 8:35 pm

The $10/$35 is a WAGS coupon and does not count (this is from my personal experience the last time we had this coupon), so you only need 9 fillers for your 9 RRs. Goodluck!

Reply

em November 22, 2012 at 3:03 pm

stacia…. the stock up coupon won’t work on gift cards… they will not count toward your $35 needed to use it. hope you see this before getting ultra bummed! (i got on to tell about the wish book coupons too)

Other observations…the Cepacol coupon wouldn’t work and they wouldn’t override since it states “cannot be combined with other offers” and the Energy Sheets 10pk rang up as 1.57 and still printed a 4.00 RR.

Reply

sharell November 22, 2012 at 11:20 pm

the tag on my energy sheets (mint) was on sale for $2.79 but its ringing up $3.99 but I didnt have time to have them fix it.

Reply

Yes, they did not produce any RR.

Reply

Jean November 24, 2012 at 2:19 am

We got to a Walgreens at 12:05 a.m. Thrs morning, and this location had none of their signs up, so it was tough. We thought we matched up the right scrunchies but it didn’t print a RR, so going to go back and get the rights ones or just return them. We also had the same problem with Revlon promo lipsticks. We took a lot of time to get the right product but after we got home, we noticed no RR for these either and one range up at 8.99. I really wish Walgreens would get ahead at all their locations and have them commonly stocked cuz it is tough to get the right products, especially now with all the combos for the new Points program.

ali November 24, 2012 at 5:39 pm

That’s strange. I bought a bonus pack Scunci and it printed my RR fine.

I have 2 $10 off a $35 purchase after today. Question: Will this work if you ring up $35, but the total isn’t that high after coupons??

Reply

adijat November 22, 2012 at 8:38 pm

You have to give them the $10/$35 coupon first, then the others. It wont work if the value goes down below $35.

Awesome almay deal the eyeliners were clearanced for 3.49 gb $5.50 and the sheets energy at my store was clearanced to 2.49 plus $1 from previous sheets box so some good mm that bought my coffee and paper towels πŸ™‚ happy thanksgiving and good luck shopping:)

mjc ~ yes. Just give the $10/$35 first, then your other coupons. Makes for a very sweet deal!!!

Thanks to everyone who has shared so far! I got deals at 3 Wags so far, and will go back for more, especially with the $10 off $35 purchase! I’m planning on getting a few free Christmas gifts and lights for the tree with those! My deals went really well. The stores where I bought the Blu Science Trim Blue were totally stumped by the coupon, but then fixed it for me both times. Almost all of my coupons had no problems with beeping or not being accepted. One of my stores had a table full of candy bars on sale for 4/$1, so I got some great fillers there that will be in my husband’s stocking. So glad to see all these great deals and to use the money I’ve gotten for gifts on a very tight year budget-wise!

Christe,

Thank you so much for promoting honest and respectful couponing!

I had a fun morning couponing with my sister and running multiple transactions, yet only did one or two of each item (and not per person either). So I was shocked to see shelf clearers for the first time. It is hard to see someone actually take every item from the shelf knowing others will be missing out. Now I understand what everyone here means πŸ™‚

It is so nice to be in good company here on Wild for Wags, thanks everyone + Christie! I’m thankful to share in the knowledge of good deals with all of you.

Went to my wags yesterday morning and another fellow couponer was there. She had special ordered a 100 of each freebie item!!! I cant even imagine how long she mustve been at the register checking and rolling all her rewards. I was a little frustrated because the cashier and manager were not very friendly when I was at checkout, yet they were more than happy to pull out the 1000 items for the other couponer. πŸ™ I’m mist glad I got my items before she came in for the rest of the stuff. Lol (and yes, the manager told the BA to pull whatever the coupon lady wanted from the back and if it wasn’t enough, they could pull the stock on the sales floor)

Reply

LaceyD November 23, 2012 at 9:40 pm

my stores set a limit of 3 of each free item. so I went to 2 different stores and got them.

Wow…where is Walgreens corporate in managing this. Sounds just wrong.
The only thing that would make it OK is if she was giving it to charity or to a homeless shelter. Then I’m all for that.

I went to Walgreens yesterday around 12:15 pm to spend my $10 off wyb $35 coupons, one of the registers in the front was busy with just one customer buying hundreds of advil pm, and whenever the other register got busy they just call for buck up and told the customers to go to the picture area or cosmetics, that lady was sitting in a stool (the one they have in the picture area). I asked the cashier if she could give me just ” 1 ” of the advil and she said no because they were already order for the lady, I was like really ok no problem.
My husband went back to the store around 5:30 pm to pick up the free 8X10 picture and he said that the lady was still there. I could not understand why the store will allow this or why the lady will take such a long time to do the transactions (unless she has a .99c store), but then while reading I saw that there was a $1 off any advil product, so the only reazon was for the MONEY MAKER!
I have seen the same lady every time there is money makers deals doing lots of transactions and even one of the managers told me that her sister does the same at another location, I thought that was going to stop with the card program or at least set a limit of 5.
I believe is ok to order but if she order 100 and the wearhouse only sends 120, is not right that the store just put 20 on the shelf sometimes not even 5. I went to other store where they had all the RRs products and they said that the limit was 2 of each for customer, the manager even told me if you need more just come by Saturday night and you can buy as many as you want πŸ™‚

Mic November 23, 2012 at 4:37 pm

Can you use the $10 off $35 with RRs? The $10 off $35 store coupon states “limit one stock-up coupon redeemed per transaction”. does that mean i cannot use anymore coupons. Thank you.

Reply

adijat November 24, 2012 at 1:48 am

Yes, you can use other RRs in conjunction with the $10/$35. I used some today…just make sure you give the $10/$35 first and also make sure you have enough items per coupon or RR to be used. HTH.

I did my very first trip today, and it was insanely stressful!! I went at 7:30 PM thinking it was very quiet and it wouldn’t ruffle too many feathers. But there was only one cashier, and she was so slow everyone behind me was getting very angry. I spent $35 on well over $70 worth of stuff (and not just “stuff,” but stuff we use!) I’m not sure I’d do that big of a haul again. I think if I had it to do all over again, I’d do it over several days. I may go back if I can figure out a way to work it and get the Arm & Hammer laundry soap again. THAT is a very good deal if you have enough RR to cover the first one. My husband was most impressed with that.

How did you all get the $10 off $35 coupon.
Just wondering. Having a little left out feeling because I really try to be careful to spend rewards and stretch them too with coupons and other great deals in the next few weeks.

wow 100 of each item…. i really hope she was donating them. I am totally bummed I forgot my coupon binder this weekend. Staying at a friends house over an hour away, and there’s a wags within walking distance. Though, I would almost guarantee everything would be gone if I went when they open today. Even without coupons, after RR everything I’d be getting would be free. I don’t NEED over half the stuff, just a few things. Interesting people just go in and clear the shelves and there are no limits. Walgreens frustrates me which is why I haven’t been shopping there much. Seems some stores limit to 1 or 2 with deals like this, while other stores allow shelf clearers to come take everything. It’s ridiculous.

Reply

Andrea November 24, 2012 at 3:03 am

Okay so I have a question…. if i dont have my coupons (cause im out of town for the weekend), can I bring them in when I get home Sunday and get reimbursed for a missed coupon? I know stores like Target, Walmart, Cub, Coborns, etc. do that, but didn’t know if Wags did. Free stuff is good, but money maker would be better, of course. πŸ™‚ Thanks!!

chris November 24, 2012 at 8:26 am

I just want to say a HUGE thank you for us ‘little guy’ couponers who get some great ideas from your site! I was able to get my 1 of almost each item (some I didn’t need) when I ran out to get my newspaper thanksgiving morning. My 24 hour Wags even had an endcap with many of the items grouped together and pointed that out to me. I appreciate the savings you have helped me with! I really love the Redbox coupons on turkey day as well so we can watch something great as a family! THANKS!

After this weeks shopping, I have $20.50 in RR and $20.00 in points. My daughter and I will be going next week and shopping for Toys for Tots.
