Here is my Scenario for 2/13. In this Scenario, you’d get approximately $38 in merchandise, spend $5.69 out of pocket and end up with $7 in Register Rewards. So you made $1.31 profit for everything!
A COUPLE OF NOTES
-) The Register Reward for Quaker is good on Sunday ONLY. After Sunday you’d pay $1.69 for everything. Still a GREAT deal!
-) Blue are manufacturer coupons, Red are store coupons and don’t count in your total. You can’t have more MQ than items!
-) I don’t include tax in my scenarios because taxes vary dramatically.

Is the Neuragen PN Pain Relief a monthly deal?
Neuragen PN .17 oz.
There is a 5.00 off manufacture coupon also to make the deal a ten dollar mm. exp. 7/20/2011. think i got it from their site.(not possitive where).
I have a question is anyone else’s walgreens telling them that things are changing soon like :
~you cant use register rewards to get RR period! even if its a diff manf!!!!
~that they arent allowing you to get more than one RR on products?
I am so frustrated!
@Cami, are you serious! Wags officially sucks!
Cami – Do you have another Walgreens you can shop at?
Katie – Yes it’s a monthly deal.
Rose the $10/1 in the Walgreens booklet is a MQ so you wouldn’t be able to use both.
Christie have you heard that (Cami’s comments) before? I haven’t are they just giving her a hard time or is there some validity to what she’s being told?
Sobey – It sounds like it’s just her store creating their own rules.
One of the stores that I shop at just won’t let you do buy more than 2 RR deals on the same day, however you can go back the next day and problem. I always take my husband there even though I have like 8 Walgreens close by because they are very coupon friendly so that way he makes 2 transactions and I do 2 more.
I’ve been told by one manager that you won’t ever get a RR printed if you are paying with RR and when he said that it has always been like that I knew he had not clue.
There is another store that is a walking distant from my house that just won’t take printed coupons period, the manager doesn’t care about the policy or any other explanation you may have, so it really depends on you stores…
Have you ever played the game telephone? Unfortunately what comes down from the district office or corporate often gets miscommuniated at the store level. About not getting RR when using a RR to pay is a micommunication of what we all know that a RR of the same dollar amount from the same mfr won’t print if paying with RR of same amount. I work for WAGs and this happens with other store issues besides qs. Don’t get discouraged, find a store that suits you. I have the same issues.
What are you using the in ad Campbells Q on in transaction #3?
Because originally I had Campbell’s but it’s out of prints so I took it out. LOL.
At our local Walgreens (2 different stores), the Walgreens diapers were ringing up at $5.99 not $8.99! Got them for $1 a pack. 🙂
I went to Wags tonight. I purchased: 2 Reach toothbrushes ($5.98), 4 Quaker Oatmeals ($6), 1 Lysol dispenser ($11.99), a small bag of dog food ($6.99) and a can of dog food ($.99) = $31.95 Used Qs: B1G1 free tb (-2.99), $1 off tb, (4) $1 off oatmeal, $3 off Lysol, $10RR from Neuragen, and $4RR from P&G = $6.96 OOP. I was supposed to get back RRs from Lysol($7), Reach($2) and Quaker($2) but they didn’t print. Spoke with the manager and he said I wasn’t supposed to get the RRs because I used the Manufacturer coupons. I had told him I did it this morning with no problems at a different Wags. He rang everything up that was supposed to give RRs and they printed. Any thoughts?
Is anyone still able to get the Diabetes & You magazine? My store discarded them.
I just got some Neuragen coupons from eBay. 10 of them for $10 and free shipping. They got here REALLY fast. I am so excited!!!
I went to buy the Neuragen and tried to use my coupon $10. off one, they wouldn’t take it because the coupon says $10. off REGULAR price….UGH!! That ruined my whole shopping trip! I just said keep it all and walked out…….GGRRRR
Can I weigh in for a moment? What we see on the frontlines of Walgreens is that they see their bottom line as what the store brings in, ie, actual cash and with credit card e-cash sales. Yes, the corporate mindset is market, market, market (that’s why pay a dept. to do it) because it equates to sales and sales equates to revenue. But, these managers on the local level see their take-in on their printouts and they answer to their district for that, not the sales that will be reimbursed with coupons (including RRs). Because of what they face on the local level, they tend to institute local limits and rules because its their store’s activities that they have to answer to. Corporately speaking, yeah, they receive back the monies from coupons redeemed but it doesn’t come back to reflect on their ledger sheets, per se, for quite awhile. And, we think they don’t get it; well, they do get it because any of us would act in a manner that speaks to their individual position and job. They walk a tightrope between the district they answer to and customer relations whereas we constantly beat the drum to them that we have rights under the corporate coupon policy.
Jeanna, One of the reasons they may have tossed them is they are not reading the entire phrasing for effective date. I know because I had a pharm tech say something like the magazine was past date because it states, “Holiday 2010” and that’s all that registered in her mind. However, the phrasing goes on to reflect “Winter 2011” which they do not read. Now we all know we are in winter until march 21st or so, but it’s just how they cut off their reading and want to clear up what they consider “junk” to them. Just to let you know, I have a small stash of mags and would be happy to share. It’s not that I take a bunch, I just keep trying to get Wags employees to consider they have them for a reason and perhaps they will conclude they should display them but with them only reading two words on the top, it’s no wonder they don’t consider their current value ESPECIALLY to the diabetic community. Since they don’t take into account the value of keeping them out, I just ask for them 1-2 at a time. I am not taking them from the community as they are not offering them out anyway. I don’t how Christie would allow me to be contacted but if it’s possible, I am willing to share! Thanks….
Just wanted to let you know that I bought 6 oatmeal and got a 3rr (Tuesday afternoon so they might still be printing)
Harlem/ foster store off 1-90 Chicago had about 40 mags out today but no Neuragen. I picked up just a few but the Q beeped at a different store and they enforced the Regular price wording but I wondered if it beeped because of the high interest in this item this month coupled w/Q’s
