Rolling Walgreens Scenario 11/14!

by Christie Bisbee on November 13, 2010

I really like this scenario. It’s super simple and after your initial $2 investment you just spend $.18 or $,.20 each time.  In this scenario you’d spend $2.38 out of pocket (OOP) before tax and end up with $5 in Register Rewards, so Walgreens would be paying YOU $2.62 to take home $35.86 in merchandise! Have Fun! :-)

I did GREAT at Walgreens today (I had to go to a different store that I am used to, but they had everything I wanted in stock!)

Here’s what I got:

Transaction 1: 2 nyquil sinex 2/$10
Used 2-$4 coupons from 10-10 p&g
Total $2.13 after tax

Transaction 2: kidseeze cold and cough $4.99
1 votive candle
Used 1 in ad coupon for votive
Used 1 $5 register reward from transaction 1
Total .23 after tax

Transaction 3: 2 nyquil sinex 2/$10
1 paper $2
2 snowglobes $1
Used 2 $4/1 nyquil sinrs 10-10 p&g
1 in ad coupon for snowglobes
1 $5 register reward from transaction 2
Total: .21 after tax

Transaction 4
2 papers $2 each
2 snowglobes $1
Used 1 in ad coupon for snowglobes
Used 1 $5 register reward from transaction 3
Total .08 ($0+ tax!)

(Upper alton walgreens had sinex, state atreet had 1 box. Also, looks like nyquil sinex coupon worked for nyquil sinus products. They were all in the same spot on the shelf and I didn’t see that they were different until I got home.)

How did you get a $5 Sinex RR in transaction #3 if you paid with the same type of RR?

Sandra – It’s a different company. Kids-Ezee is one company & Sinex is a different company. So it makes no difference.
