Here is my scenario for someone with NO Register Rewards.
I’m a bit reluctant to put up a scenario without knowing what the in-ad coupons are going to do when combined with the monthly booklet coupons. And we also have the Friends and Family days which are going to change scenarios too. On top of all that there were such few Register Reward deals last week that you may not have many Register Rewards to start off with. But here’s something for those of you that have to shop tomorrow.
If you have some RR like a Gillette or a Colgate, just throw in a few $.09 pencils and use them to pay for the Alive in transaction #1.
In this scenario you’d spend $10.06 out of pocket (OOP), get $34.06 in merchandise, and end up with $8 in Register Rewards. So you’re basically paying $2.06.
Transaction #1 Buy
1– Alive! Energy Multivitamins 50ct Men’s or Women’s $10
Total = $10.00
USE
-$1/1 Alive Vitamins PRINT
Total = $9.00
(Get Back $10 RR Alive)
Transaction #2 Buy
1– Gillette Fusion ProGlide Manual or Power Razor $9.89
2 – Kellogg’s Cereals 12 – 18.2oz 2/$5
1-Crayola Crayons 24pk $1
Total =$15.89
USE
1- $4 off Gillette Fusion Proglide Manual or Power Razor 08-01-10 SS
1-$1/2 Kellogg’s 10oz+ PRINT or (Special K PRINT) or (Raisin Bran 07-25-10 RP or PRINT) or (Mini-Wheats PRINT)
1-$10 RR Alive
Total = $.89,
(Get Back $5 RR P&G, $2 RR Kellogg’s, $1 RR Crayola)
Transaction #3 Buy
1– Complete Multi-Purpose Solution, 12oz $7.99
2- 10 pack Penway #2 pencils, $.09
Total =$8.17
USE
1- $5 RR P&G
1-$2 RR Kellogg’s
1 -$1 RR Crayola
Total = $.17
(Get Back $8 RR Complete)
(Remember you may have tax on some or all of these products depending on your area.)

What’s the friends and family deal?
We get 15% off and I think it’s from the 1st to the 4th of this month. I am sooooooooooo excited!!!! WAGS FINALLY has some GREAT deals!!!
Hi Christie… I was just wondering if you knew how long that Gillette Fusion deal is going on with the sale price and RR? I’m trying to decide if I should order some of those coupons. Thanks!
@ Megan – the Gillette Fusion ProGlide has been on sale for at least a month at both CVS and Walgreens. If your Sunday papers aren’t too expensive, I’d suggest purchasing quite a few of them today. The Proctor and Gamble has SOOOOO many great coupons in it today and you might save by purchasing a few papers instead of purchasing all the coupons you want to purchase seperatley. I know quite a few of the coupons in the Proctor and Gamble today allow you to purchase trial sizes as well so you can get quite a few free items if you shop the trial sizes.
My Walgreens will not allow the use of an in-ad coupon with an IVC coupon for the same item. The register just beeps. 🙁
Does anyone know if the Alive multivitamin RR rolls? 🙂
