Scenario WITH Register Rewards 7/11!

by Christie Bisbee on July 10, 2010

Here is my scenario for someone WITH Register Rewards. In this scenario you’d spend $.52 out of pocket (OOP), get $48.04 in merchandise, and end up with $7 in Register Rewards! You’d need to start out with $10 in Register Rewards. So your total cost would be $3 in RR, plus your $.52 OOP = $3.52 making it about 92% OFF.

A couple of notes on these transactions…
The regular price of the Reach and Right Guard will vary slightly.
I’ve highlighted the ones that count in your total in blue and the one’s that don’t in red.

Have Fun! 🙂

What zip code did you use for the Energizer hearing aid batteries? I’ve tried several and can’t seem to pull it up. Thanks for your wonderful blog!

Hi Denise – 33401 – Sort under Household and you’ll see it. You’ll have to “sign up” to get the coupon.

Isn’t your transaction #1 a $5 RR for the Gillette razor?

Christie July 11, 2010 at 2:12 am

Yes Thanks Dianne – $5 is the RR, $4 is the coupon.

I just tried to use the cracker coupon and the cashier refused it! Who can I call?

Kathy – That’s ridiculous. If you have a different store, I’d just go to a different store. I’d call corporate to complain. Once you do you should get a call from the manager. Was a manager available? All she had to do was read the coupon to see it didn’t exclude any sizes. ugh!

I have mentioned this before in a comment, but I thought I’d mention it again in case there are any others who live in my area. In my part of the country (Oregon), the Walgreen’s coupons absolutely DO count in the per item coupon total, but the in-ad ones do not. They have gone to “clipless coupons” for the in-ad coupons, so you don’t have to cut them out (thus they can’t be used unless you have a Wags card), and they now no longer count toward the coupon total. When they first made the switch, they still counted, but now they do not!

Also, last night when I was trying to do two transactions in a row, they would not let me use the RR that printed out in my first transaction toward my second transaction. I told the cashier that that must be a new policy, and he said yes and whipped out this sign that said you can only use RRs on the next day, not the same day. Does anyone know if Wags has a policy about this? The RR itself says it can be used on your next “order,” not the next day.

Thanks.

I did the Suave RR deal yesterday purchasing 2 professionals @ $3 ea and 2 deodorants @ $2 ea (which should equal $10) – used 2 free professionals MQs & 2 $.75/1 MQs on the deodorant for $2.50 OOP, then should have gotten the $3RR back but didn’t. I didn’t complain because I knew they would comment that it was because of the free MQs, but I still don’t know why it didn’t print. I used a $2RR from some toothbrushes (I think anyway) and also bought a Fusion razor (which DID print the $5RR for that one at least), so maybe one one of those caused the RR to not print? I hate doing a ton of transactions but I think I might have to 🙁
