Scenario with NO Register Rewards

by Christie Bisbee on May 15, 2010

Here is my scenario for someone with NO Register Rewards. You’d spend $4.86 out of pocket (OOP), get $42.34 in merchandise, and end up with a $ 2 Register Reward! There isn’t a lot to roll with this week, unless of course we find that the Gillette/Old Spice RR is rolling onto itself. However you can still get a lot of merchandise for very little!

A few things I want to point out about this scenario…
1) In Transaction #2 you could buy Gillette and use the B1G1 Gillette coupon instead of Old Spice. Also, the B1G1 coupon may only attach to 1 item in which case you wouldn’t need the filler. I included it just in case the B1G1 attached to both.
2) Transaction #3 is only if your store will allow you to use the in ad Q for Reach & the MQ.
3) I highlighted the MQ (that count in your coupon total) in blue and those that don’t in red.

Have Fun Everyone! ;-)

Ah Shucks, on the Poise. I had a lot of the $2 off Poise coupons- I asked all my kids in different locations to print them off for me too so I had like 12 of them. Then Publix has $3.00 off Poise that you can use along with the $2.00 off coupon. So when I used both coupons, the $5.49 bag of Poise were 49 cents a bag for me! I bought at least 24 Poise bags- now I will never run out or have to pay top dollar.

I am hoping for a RR glitch tomorrow…I have a million of the Gillette/Old Spice Q’s and really want to take advantage of all of them but I don’t want the Poise and I don’t want to end up with a ton of RR’s either…cooooommmmeeee on glitch!

Well P&Gs are known for occasionally rolling, so I have my fingers crossed too!

can we use the $4/2 Gillette coupon and the BOGO coupon in the same transaction?

Hi Kelly, in order to use the $4/2 you’d have to buy 3 items. However you could use the $2/1. So the BOGO Q is for one item and the $2/1 is for a 2nd item. I hope that makes sense.

I printed the Poise coupon from the link above, and in the lower right hand corner it says “redeem at rite aid.” It’s a MQ, did anyone have problems with Walgreens accepting it?

My store will accept it as long as it doesn’t say “redeem only at rite aid” or “only good at rite aid” or something along those lines. If it has the word only it’s a no go, which makes sense to me.
