This week you earn $3 (3,000 Balance Reward Points) for buying three Pantene shampoos and conditioners. It’s a better deal if you buy six since you’ll receive $6 (6,000 Balance Reward Points). Here are some scenarios for you.

If you have that awesome $2 Haircare coupon clipped to your card and you haven’t used it, you’ll get an even better deal. This comes off as a Walgreens Coupon. You can only use it once. I tried this one with the Pantene manufacturer’s $5/3 clip2ard coupon, so I only had one. It’s possible your second $5/3 won’t work if you grab six since it would make this a negative transaction, so here’s a scenario for buying four.
Buy (2) Pantene Shampoos, $4.79 B1G1 50% off Sale Price
Buy (2) Pantene Conditioners, $4.79 B1G1 50% off Sale Price

I have the $2 off shampoo available to clip to my Rewards Card. Why is it more beneficial to purchase 4 of the Pantene shampoo/contioners as opposed to buying only 3? According to the ad, I need to buy 3 in order to receive the 3000 balance reward points. The coupon is good for $5 off of 3. The only positive I see is that you get the fourth bottle for 1/2 price, about $2.40, depending on your market. While not a significant amount, the average price per bottle, as I see it, is a little more when purchasing 4 bottles than when purchasing 3 bottles.
I purchased 6 bottles. The $2.00 coupon came off of each bottle. I also used the clip2save $5.00 off 3 bottles of Pantene and one $5.00 of 3 bottles of Pantene from the Proctor and Gamble insert. I received a total of 6000 bonus points. I wound up paying a total of $2.57 and received 600 points. Altogether, I got six free bottles of Pantene and a $3.47 moneymaker!
I am planning on buying 10, use 2 newspaper coupons and the digital $5 of three and $2 Walgreens coupon. Hopefully it will take $2 of each bottle and hoping that my store have some left:(
