I tried that yesterday and they would only let me use one coupon. The second wouldn’t scan, because it says one coupon per purchase.
You can use both coupons – All coupons say one coupon per purchase. The question is how many are you purchasing? In this case the answer is TWO.
That is totally different than one per transaction or one per customer.
So a typical coupon can read – one per purchase, limit of 4 in the same shopping trip.
In other words a coupon like that would mean – ONE coupon PER item you are purchasing – and you can buy as many as you want but you can only use (4) coupons.
I had two bottles one lotion and one in shower lotion the coupons were for those specific items. I didn’t use two same coupons, but the Walgreens people said no. Only one coupon per purchase, or in their meaning one per transaction.
Is there anything I can do to fix this or is it too late, and I should forget about it?
Well – here’s what I’d do – I would call Walgreens Balance Rewards and explain what happened. The reason I’d ask for Balance Rewards – is because A- it’s a Balance Rewards Deal + B – I’d ask them to give me 1,000 in points to make up for the $1. If they can’t do that then I’d tell them I want the store to give me a refund and re-ring me up next time I’m in the store.
Thank you!
I had the same issue today in Lakeland, Florida they say because it is buy one lotion and get one 50% off I can only use on coupon…which I think THIS should NOT be the case if you are paying for each item one full price and the other half you should be able to use 2 coupons. This SINKS Walgreens?!?!?!
Tried to purchase 2/6.8oz Nivea lotion the computer would not accept both coupons and this wags is really nice. Good thing I had $2.50RR from last weeks deal. So paid $2.99 plus tax got back $2.00 Rewards points, so basically.50 each. I’m in Chicago on Southside
