Here are some Walgreens updates from my shop today. Hopefully this will help your shop go a bit easier.
POINTS BOOSTER OFFER: There are some select areas of the country that did NOT get the points booster offer in their local Walgreens ad. You may want to head over to Walgreens.com and preview the ad in your area to be sure it’s included where you live. It looks like most metropolitan areas did get the Points Booster offer, but best to check before your shopping trip.
MAYBELLINE DEAL: So this was a nice surprise. That awesome Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid-Touch Foundation deal can actually be done twice in one transaction. Usually these types of deals (Get $2 wyb $15+) will only give you the reward (in this case $2) regardless of how much you spend above the threshold (in this deal $15).
However, I was able to buy (4) in one transaction (over $30) and received $4 in points, plus the $5 Booster Points. These are a great deal with or without the booster, with that high value Maybelline coupon. Here’s what I did…

Total = Just $1.99 EACH or like saving 82%!
GEVALIA SALE: I’m happy to say that the Gevalia Mocha Latte is included in the $5.99 Gevalia sale at Walgreens this week. These are regularly priced at $8.99. Plus you’ll get $1 back (1,000 Balance Rewards Points) for each one you buy. Depending on whether your area got the points booster offer, here are a couple of deal ideas for you…

You can call Catalina and request your RR. You can see my post below on what to do if your RR doesn’t print – which includes the phone number for Catalina.

Which Crest did you buy? It’s possible that some were not included or coded to prompt the RR. The blue one worked for me.
I mixed and matched the blue and green top. Only the blue top works.
I did that too because there was only 2 blue left, so I added a green for the third, manager credit my rewards card with 4,000 points since the RR didn’t print.
Cat printed at 1 location but not another.
wish they would carry something other than the mocha gevalia… I wouldn’t buy it if they paid me. lol.
I thought the ad says that the Maybeline deal was only on 11/15/14 from 10am to 5pm??? Is it already available?
Also do you know how many $5 point booster for $30 spent we can get for each Wags card?
I think that’s just an advertisement for their Satur-date with beauty but the deal is around all week! I don’t think there’s a limit on the booster points – or at least it’s more than you probably would do! 🙂
Regarding the Gevalia I bought it a while back and inside the box there was a $1 off coupon expiring 12/31/14, So I got mine for $3.99

Watch for a Walgreens Balance Reward Member 2,000 Points booster when you spend $10.00 to print when you shop. Mine printed Monday 11-11-14 after I did 2 transactions using the 5,000 points booster coupon in the ad. Note: mine expires 11-17-2014, to use next time you shop and Limit one Stock up coupon redeemed per transaction.
