Here are some updates from my Walgreens Shopping trip to help your trip go a bit smoother!
STOCK-UP COUPONS: Many of you are getting Stock Up coupons printing at the register. Some of these are for a set dollar amount – like save $2 on a $10 purchase, and others are for a percentage off of a $30 or $50 purchase. Be sure to check your catalina print outs to see if you got any of these. 🙂
COLGATE REGISTER REWARD: The $3 Register Reward for select Colgate products is not printing. Walgreens is aware of the problem but you may want to hold off on purchasing this item until they fix the Register Reward. It does not print for any of the qualifying products, so probably best to hold off until later in the week for this one.
ALMAY COUPON: Just a heads up if you are planning to do any of the Almay deals this week. The Almay coupon seems to be beeping on select Mascaras. It works fine for the make-up removers and the eyeliners and liquid eyeliners. I remember this happened last time we had a high value Almay coupon.
So, although it’s perfectly acceptable to use this coupon on mascara, just be aware it may beep at it will be a YMMV as to being able to use it. The two varieties that beeped for me were Almay Thickening Mascara & Get Up and Grow Mascara.
I’m excited that the eye make up remover is included however – both the canisters and the liquid work. It’s my favorite and considering we are getting paid to buy it – it’s a major stock up price. 😉

My percentage stock up coupon would not work. The assistant manager found that it was a known issue, but the proposed fix did not work, either. She ended up giving me the employee discount, which was only 15%, when I should have had 20%. Oh well…
My 20% off coupon didn’t work either, but my store manager gave me a gift card for the amount. sweet 🙂
At my store, they offered 3000 points for the lack of a RR for the Colgate. Would rather have had the $3.00 RR, but I will use the points eventually.
The register reward for the Colgate toothpaste did not work, but she tried it with a toothbrush and it worked fine. It was the Colgate total advanced 360
Is the almay cpn a regional cpn?
I live in Seattle area and did NOT get the Almay coupon, disappointing…
If you buy the pre-priced $4.99 eye makeup remover pads, the RR does not print.
Christie – can you please educate us on the paperless coupons on the walgreens website – how does it work? TIA
My concern with the loaded MQs is the interference (possibly) in a threshold situation. Will it interfere? I know it “shouldn’t” but does it?
My Colgate RRs printed yesterday in Indiana. And all of my Almays printed the RR as well. I used the $4/1 MQs for Almay Eye Liner and Liquid Lip Balm and used the RRs from the Almay towards the Colgate Optic White Rinse deal. Paid 99 cents plus tax for Colgate and got a $3 RR for Colgate. Maybe it is only happening in particular stores. (???)
Has anyone had any luck with the almay rr and the coupon? I just came back from a trip to wags and the rr didn’t print. The manager told me to try another wags and if it was working asked me to have that store call him!
