We have another Points Booster coupon in the ad for next week. Spend $25 and get $5 (5,000 Balance Reward Points). This will only be available from Sunday thru Tuesday. If this is programmed like the last points booster coupon, you’ll have to reach $25 before manufacturer coupons are deducted, but after the Walgreens coupons (in-ad or monthly book) are deducted.

Thanks for the scenarios! I tweaked them a bit for myself, but it was nice to have a “start”!
Would be great, but all of my stores have been wiped clean of the optic white!
Last time I tried to do this they said they had to ring up my Manuf. coupons first and then the Walgreens coupons last. I tried to give them the points one first but they looked at what I had and scanned them their own way. So I didn’t get to use it since my total was lower than the $25. I called corporate and didn’t get anywhere with them either.
My store does the same. We must spend the whole $25 OOP and then if we want to use a coupon, we need to buy more so the total will stay above $25. It’s not written anywhere in the policy about this. Ran into something similar with the AARP points. I went in a second time, but no points. The manager said you can do it only once. I showed him the ad (which he read 3 times) and nowhere did it say a one time use. He gave me my points.
The aarp bonus offer is valid once a month. My mom got something at work about it, and that’s what the terms said. Though imo it should be stated in the ad bc most people miss the fine print (or don’t read it) when they link their card with walgreens online.
I had a similar problem with the beauty coupon in February (cashier refused the coupon b/c she said haircare didn’t qualify). I sent an email to customer service regarding the transaction, along with the reference # from the receipt and details about exactly what I bought and how many points I thought I should have earned, and they credited my account. It took a couple weeks to get a response but I was pleasantly surprised. You may want to try the email route if calling didn’t work.
The 4 oz Colgate Optic White is $3 and produces the $2 rr. A $.50 MM with $1.50 03/02 SS q !
On my transactions today, it didn’t matter how I put the coupons and the 5000 pt coupon I received it. I was also able to to 5 transactions at one store, 3 at another, and about to go to the third one in town to use at least 2 again. We are limited to 3 – 12 packs of cokes per visit so it is just easier to go to three stores. Happy shopping.
Norma, you sound like my kind of shopper!! Would you mind sharing what you bought, I’m having trouble figuring out what to get “even” with the great scenerios above. Thanks 🙂

After all of the other transactions I now have $60 in points to use next week. It was a fun day.
Norma you are fantastic!! Thank you so much for taking the time to type it all out! It helped me alot. I always get hung up on things that are on sale, (RR, Points, etc.) and forget that there are plenty of other things at Walgreens I would normally buy at the grocery store, so why not buy them at Wags and get 5000 points, (not just try to plan scenerios that are RR, or points, kwim). Your transactions are things I would normally buy anyway, and you made out ahead because got the 5000 bonus points. Thanks for opening up my mind, I now have some scenerios and I hope you have fun next week spending your $60 in points! 🙂
I have a question, Anyone knows if I can use 2 ALMAY coupons and 2 walgreens coupon for 2 off each in one transaction? will it work? want to maximize the $25 for points booster. Has anyone tried it?
Karen, you actually only need to present 1 Walgreens coupon, as it will apply the $2 discount to all 4 Almay items.
Just a reminder… The suave Qs are limit of 2 identical coupons per transaction.
To anyone doing the Suave deal (in scenario #2):
I bought 4 today any they did not ring up $2 and $1 (the 50% one), as it states on the sign, instead they rang $1.99 and .99. This made all the Suaves total $5.96 instead of $6, so I did not get the $2RR for buying $6 worth. I didn’t realize this until I got home, of course. Just make sure if your sign says $2 B1G1 50% off, that they price modify it if it rings up $1.99 B1G1 50%.
The cashier wouldn’t let me use the point booster BEFORE manufacturer coupons. I had reached $25+
Ka Vang, my cashier was the same way, BUT I still got the 5000 booster points, b/c the register is only going by the subtotal after Walgreens coupons. They think they’re smart, but the register is smarter!
Where do you get the points booster coupon? I’m new to this and its the first time I’m hearing of it! It’s 8:00pm here, so I still have a little bit of time to go tonight if I can find this coupon!
Sorry you missed it. 🙁 It was found on the first page of the ad.
