SUPER WEIRD…. I was just going through my kitchen and thinking I needed BBQ sauce and haven’t seen a good coupon deal on it for awhile (I have been out for months!!), came to check out wildforwags and there was this post! So excited to stock up again. Thank you SO much for alll you do Christie!

FRUSTRATED… my Walgreens says they never saw this coupon and treated my husband like a criminal trying to use it. Just when I decided to start using Walgreens again :/ cashier called manager, then manager called another to look at. also refused another coupon I printed for the Glade deal, and said it was photocopied ??? It was not. The treat my husband like a criminal for trying to shop in their store. I will stick with CVS, they treat their customers a lot nicer.
I’m so sorry Sherri – and honestly that’s ridiculous to say they never saw that coupon – there are over 6,000 coupons in my database, I’m sure they haven’t seen them all!
I rejected a bbq coupon earlier this week. I’ve never seen a coupon from this company before. Everyone is trying to be super careful with internet coupons. People circulate fake coupons without knowing it and sometimes it’s hard to tell. Not saying that you put up fake coupons but most of the time it’s up to our discretion. People have been fired for coupons. It’s very real. I’ve already had Loss Prevention from our district come in and talk to me about a coupon i took for a customer so now i try to be super careful. I try to stay informed and follow coupon blogs so customers with coupons have less problems. I didn’t check the blog this week. Now i know.
FYI – Sweet Baby Ray’s also puts out insert coupons and occasionally puts out printables.
Lauren have you printed this coupon ? It fully complies with Walgreen’s coupon policy, it is scanable, clear, it even prints the name of the person printing it, the date and a website. I understand a cashier being cautious but for a manager to be called and for them not to take a not just this coupon which was valid but Glade coupon also is ridiculous. Between the 3 of them they could not agree which ones they FELT were valid. For goodness sakes Glade printables are around all the time, and for one of them to state it was photocopied was ridiculous. I don’t even cut 2 coupons at the same time, never mind photo copy. I am complaining to corporate, no employee should be treating customers like that, and for 3 to be that way … not ok. I’ve worked in retail, that was no way customer service. Others in the line were shocked how they acted.
