I need an advised my local wags is coupon friendly but when the coupon is over the amount they refused to lover the value last time I mention this to the supervisor she acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about there was a huge line behind me so I give up..what should I do next time take coupon policy or get a hold of costumer service?
Take your policy….also if they hit the payment button. That screen has a manufacturer coupon button that’s where they can modify the coupon. …ask the to hit payment…you’ll see on the screen where it says manufacturer coupon…
I recommend going to the cosmetic counter to ring out. I was told by the cosmetic “girl” that they only get hours based on their sales, so they are more than happy to ring you out and work with you on your coupons. (My lady actually has her own coupon binder under the counter to help people get a better deal) If there isn’t anyone behind the counter look around for an employee in the general area as they are often stocking shelves.
I have found the cosmetics people are much nicer to deal with and there isn’t a line so you can “play with your deals” to ring through your multiple transactions to get the best deals.
They can lower the value of the coupons, they just have to cross out the amount of the coupon and write in the amount they are using. The manufacturers only have to pay them back for the amount the clerk used, so they don’t care.
Or call the store and speak to a manager during a slow time and explain your issue. More than likely they will tell you how to handle it. Just make sure to get the managers name so you can tell the clerk you spoke with “John Smith” so you know it’s okay.
Hope this helps!!
thanks Erica i do agree with you cosmetic people are much nicer compared to regular cashiers i usually go to the cosmetic counter but at the time it was late so the supervisor ring me up she was very strict i decided to be the bigger person and let it go away
i know some may say this isn’t allowed but if i got coupon that is bigger than the price of an item, i usually take a filler to prevent that to happen. the the total will be negative their computer wont take it thats why it will prompt the cashier. but if u have filler it will just scan just fine. i know some will disagree but it prevents headache for me and for the cashier. they wont need to modify the price then.
Not always the case example meters when their 9.99 wit a 10 coup even wit other items it won’t go thru unless its modified to 9.99
I printed a $3/1 axe coupon I was told it was a wags coupon.
I found Axe twist body spray on clearance. It was $3.89 and second one was$1.94. Was able to use 2 coupons and got 2250 points. Thanks for letting us know for the freebie.
I received a catalina for $1.50 off Axe with an Axe shave gel purchase. The cashier told me a catalina was also printing for Dove products, but I didn’t get any other those.
Janet I got the same coupon at wags and rite aid.
