This morning, I found 2 packages on clearance for $2.87 at my store. It was the “firm” kind. Didn’t try any others. Hope this helps some of you.
I took these coupons today and they would not scan and the cashier tried to type in the number and still wouldn’t go through…so they didn’t take it
The $2/2 pack coupon does not scan. My local wags pushed it through since all the wording was correct for the product but just a heads up.
My coupons would not scan either…….the manager said it has already expired???
WHAT…..
anyway he pointed out the following on the coupon….just above the bar code it reads…..
Retailer: Authenticate at http://www.veri-fi.com. Don not accept without a dot scan bar code below expiration date . 061513 089………apparently 061513 is the expiration date and the register will not take it.
ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH THIS???/
Karina, all my coupons.com coupons have a code on them like yours. The 061513 on your coupon is the date you printed them. The expiration date is in tiny print all around the edges of the coupons. This seems like just another example of employees making stuff up when the register beeps!
That’s the one complaint I have with Walgreens. They encourage folks to use coupons … even list them in their ads with there is a coupon available in the Sunday paper, but they do a horrible job at educating their cashiers about coupons. I have had to explain the usage of the coupons several times. One even had to ask her manager if they took the Internet coupons. REALLY? But for a manager not to understand something as small as where to find the expiration date. That is horrible.
I did this today several times with no problems at all. Bought $124 worth of items spent $12 oop:) And I have $15 RR. I got tooth paste & brushes, Kleenex, toilet paper, sunflower seeds, Nice drinks, Kios, turkey bacon, and Motts apple juice. There was a cpn I think in last weeks paper for $1/1 Mott’s. It makes it .99. This week was the best I’ve done in a while at Wags. I have been having much better luck at CVS and they have had better deals. Spent .01 there yesterday on $70 worth of items. Vitamins, soda, body wash, Contour meter, father’s day card, and 3 papers!
Neither of my reach coupons scanned either, they beeped said it didn’t match but the cashier pushed it through anyway.
Mine beeped too–I even bought the 2pack that was pictured on the coupon. Luckily my cashier was nice enough to push it thru.
I also had issues with this coupon this morning but my cashier pushed it through.
I had no problems.
On a side note, I found more Walgreen’s Diabetes Care Answers books today. $10 MFQ for Bayer Contour Next EZ meters which are on sale through June 24 for $9.99 with 2000 points. Thought I’d mention for my WAGS had been out of these coupon books for a long time and are now back in stock
coupon didn’t work. cashier wouldn’t put it through 🙁
I’m going to try another Walgreens…I’m having bad luck lately with cashiers, target didn’t let me stack a bunch of coupons last week
Why wouldn’t Target let you stack coupons?
One of the cashiers said because the coupon said limit one coupon per purchase that they couldn’t stack it But I tried to explain to him that that meant two manufacturer coupons And he said no. So I’m becoming very picky about shopping at target now this isn’t the first time this has happened. The funny thing is that I take target coupons and manufacturer coupons to Publix and they give me no problems whatsoever lol
2nd one should be $1.99, get $2 RR because the coupon only takes off a dollar. I did get my Reach toothbrushes but agree that they were a pain. Glad my cashier pushed the coupons through.
Karina,
The manager is mistaken. That is the date you printed the coup, not the expiration date. The expiration is clearly labeled “Expires……”. Try another Walgreens if that manager is giving you such a hard time.
I found the reach floss on clearance at my WAG for $1.99 and it gives the register reward. The coupon beeped but the cashier pushed it through. I lost out because I bought two reach items on the same transaction so I only got one register reward. Nonetheless it was all free still, just less money made.
Help!! I tried using the reach coupon last night and it did the same thing.. It said “did not match” and when the manager came she told me corporate emailed all the stores to not accept tht exact coupon because they r not getting reimbursed.. Has anyone else had tht problem??? I told her i used the same one at another location & it worked fine and she told me they must not have gotten notification not to use it
I went to two different Walgreens and was told at both stores that they will not take a Manufacturer’s coupon on an item that is a Register Reward item. At one store the cashier said that because the RR is a Manufacturer’s coupon, it would be like using two Man. coupons on one purchase, so it’s not allowed. I tried to explain that the RR is going to be used on a different transaction, not the same one as the $2 Man Coupon from the internet. The cashier got so rude and so I just said nevermind and left. At the other store, the coupons wouldn’t scan and the cashier wouldn’t push it through. I didn’t buy anything and will not shop at Walgreens at all in the future. I have had it with inconsistent rules, cashiers who make up rules or don’t know how to enter coupons, and Walgreens stores that rarely have any of what is advertised.
