I’m confused. Does RR counts as walgreens coupon? So, if I spend $25 to get the addl points for this two day special and pay with RR, will that bring my total under $25 and therefore not receive the addl points?

Hi christie,

I purchased some almay makeup today, and I purchased a color that was the wrong color. I opened it but did not apply any of it to my eyes. I still have the packaging and my receipt, will i be able to take it back for an exchange of the right color?

yes. I work at walgreens and we take back anything. last week we even took back lotion that was almost gone (like it only had 1/4 left in it) because she said it dried out her skin.
Another lady a month or so ago returned her hair dye AFTER she died her hair because she said she didn’t know it had red in it.

Yes you will be able to return, even if you did use it and applied it. I work as a beauty advisor at walgreens.

Well done, Keisha! Point of reference for your future Wag’s shops: Just got back and was told by the beauty advisor that checked me out that my Almay Q for $5.00 off 2 makeup items wasn’t working because one of the items was clearance and you “can’t use coupons on clearance items”! I can hear you experienced shoppers sharp intake of breath. Can you believe that? If I hadn’t known better, I would have lost a great deal. Turns out it was because one of my items was the remover cloths and that’s not considered a make up item. I don’t see why. It’s in the makeup dept., you use it to remove makeup…it’s a makeup item! Oh well. I bought the clearance item for 5.00 and a Wake-up eyeshadow stick for 8.99. The stick was on sale 2.00 off, so cost 6.99. Almay is BOGO 1/2 off so the clearance item was 2.50. Also, there’s a $2.00 off Wag’s Q in the monthly booklet which brought my total to $2.49 OOP; a savings of $11.50.
Watch out for those ill-informed cashiers. It’s up to you to make sure you get the best price possible.

So, & maybe I missed this, but there is also a get 5,000 pts when you buy $30 in participating Walgreens exclusive brands. If I bought $30 today of participating brands would I get the 5,000 & the whatever points for buying at least $25?

Sorry, haven’t done Wags in awhile & am trying to get back into it.

yes, it is a double dip, you would get the 5000 points for the wags brands and then 1500 for spending $30

Thank you! I need some items that the Wags store brand will work just fine for, so will definitely be heading out soon.

Remember it’s only select Wags store brands, not all.

Today’s shop: $72.10 Retail $6.74 OOP $65.36 Savings + MIR for full price (12.49) of Neosporin Essentials Trial Pack. So, in essence, Wags paid me $5.75 to remove my items from the store for them! LOVE IT! Thanks, Christie.
