Jean September 27, 2012 at 8:04 am: At my kids dentist, there was a whole bowl of $2.00 off Any Reach floss. They had a lot and were trying to get rid of them.I didn’t want to hoard so grabbed about ten. At my local grocery story, the smallest reach is $1.29 and they weren’t adjusting down the coupon, so everytime I used it I made $.71 cents. I still have some hoping to get a RR deal, so thanks Christy. These dentist coupons don’t expire until late 2013 too.
On that note, I really question why a grocery store is justified adjusting down a coupon greater than purchased price down to purchase price. They will get reimbursed the whole coupon value. While yes, I don’t necessarily feel I should get money back, but then they benefit from the whole coupon reimbursement…am I missing something? Walgreens always has to adjust down fixed value coupons, but doubt the coupon reimbursement is adjusted. Also, I’ve noticed big problems in clearance items not ringing up correctly. This has happened to me in the last four visits, and I don’t catch it until I get home…ugggh. Watch this everyone. Lately, I got some Gold Flour priced clearance at $1.14, orig $4.59. The register range it up at $2.20.
